best location,excellent breakfast,very good staffs. the decor (inside the room) needs to be improved i wil call it a good hotel.we stayed for a day and moved to another place.later when we tried to the get back to this hotel,it was impossible.it was fully booked.good location very next to platinum mall,walkable distance to mpk.
Shopping Tip : right in the middle of the shopping area.very next to platinum mall,near to mpk and there are many other shopping malls around this hotel.good to stay ,dine and shop

Great Location, excellent rooms, very helpful staff, breakfast buffet was great. The traffic is fairly heavy, as it is located in a prime shopping area.The hotel is set up a for wireless internet, it would be great if it was included for free,as not everyone travels with a laptop. After reading a few negative reviews about Grand Diamond Suites, I was a little apprehensive about the standard of room I would be given,... well I need'nt have worried, as It was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in, even though it was only a junior suite ! Great value through Agoda as well.The staff were great & so was the included breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a short cab ride to the Grand Palace tour, wear long pants to get in.

Have cooking facilities but no cooking utensils The hotel staffs are friendly and room is very clean and comfortable. Location is very good as it is just next to Platinum Fashion Mall and a 5 mins walk from Central World. There are many road-side stalls that sell cheap & tasty foods just beside the road in front of the hotel. I will certainty use the hotel again and recommend other to use it.
Shopping Tip : Go to Platinum Mall early in the morning as it is not as crowded and the shop-owners will give you more discount if you are the 1st customer.

This hotel is right in the heart of everything. The markets are easily accessible, shopping is a breeze and the hotel it self offers an excellent range of accommodation. They need to advertise their late check out service more clearly as people don't always think to ask for this service. Many flights leave Bangkok late in the evening and if you check out at 2:00pm it's very inconvenient as to what to do with your bags and to have a shower etc before you leave. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and the standard of service has been excellent every time. The suites are great to stay in, roomy and clean, and the location is fantastic. It is close to markets and a variety of shopping, right in the heart of Bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip : They offer an extra long stay - until 7:00pm - for a cost of about $60 Australian dollars. Convenient if you have a late night flight.

The Grand Diamond Suites Pratunam Hotel is very conveniently situated in the shopping zone.
Breakfast spread is very good. Checking outtime is restricted, staff would not bent to allow later check out. The Grand Diamond Suites Pratunam Hotel is very conveniently situated in the shopping zone. There are street stalls and shopping centres all around the hotel. However if you are travelling by taxi or car, pls note the traffic is very heavy. Platinum Mall which is just next to the hotel is a good place for wholesale buying.
Its value for money to stay in this hotel. Will recommend friends especially for shopping trips.
Travel tip : Big and cheap and food is good.

Beside wholesale centre Platinum mall, rooms come with small living room, walking distance to major malls. Insufficient amenities in the toilet, unfriendly staff at counter, stanky rooms with marginally old fashioned furniture. Got in on n early flight and was able to do a check in before 12 noon so that was a plus, but due to availability of room I guess. Hotel bellboy and porter, excellent service: go out to the main rain to get you a cab on a rainy day, render help in giving directions to cabbies etc. Location cant get any better in my opinion for shopaholics as it's just beside the platinum mall and you can just walk right back to the comforts of your room after a day of ransacking the mall in platinum. For the faint hearted who wants to avoid crazy bkk traffic, hotel is also within walking distance to the mega mall central world ( 5-10 mins) and paragon (possible 20 mins). It is possible to walk to the BTS station as well. I dont think the counter staff was nice. Rooms were generally considered big but carpet or rooms were stanky and sort of old. I think housekeeping is weird, they dont provide extra toilet rolls in the hotel and when u have two persons in the same room, you would have to call housekeeping for extra amenities everyday ( or mayb twice a day haha). Kitchenette in room do not provide utensils just so u know and blinds are not blackout. So be sure to bring eyeshades if you're a light sensitive sleeper! But for me these cons are mitigated but the prime location of hotel and unbeatable price.
Hotel Feature Tip : Fyi there's a 7 eleven beside hotel in the platinum mall building and roadside eateries across the road on the way to central mall.

the wifi intenet is expensive the location of the hotel is so perfet for shopping because all the malls next to the hotel and you can go to platinum mall which is next to it exactly or go to onother by bridge by walking. the staff was so friendly and smily but the interet charge is so expensive .

Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, wholesome food. Getting a bit old-needs a major refurbish, and fewer smokers. Grand Diamond Pratunam is a good location, units are comfortable, staff nice and overall good value.
Shopping Tip : There is a large IT and Electronic center nearby where you can by most brands of computer hardware and software and peripheral equipment at good value prices

Good location. Spacious room. Friendly staff. wireless internet should be provided as complimentary. During check out, encounter system down and make the incidental charges payment for phone calls make but the front desk told me unable to issue receipt. Left wihout receipt. Location was ideal between Puntip Plaza and The Platinum. Good spread of the Buffet Breakfast - spoilt by the many choices available, I really enjoy the buffet breakfast. Gym facilities were great. I particularly enjoy the Steaming. The massage gave 30% discount when you patronize between 11am to 6pm - great finger work. I enjoy the massage and discount. My only bad experience was when I boarded a taxi who demanded 500 baht to go to airport which I pay only 250 baht by meter when I arrived. The driver refuse to turn on meter. we finally agreed on 250 baht but he drove recklessly all the way to the airport. I think the hotel staff should tell the taxi to turn on the meter and record the particular in case complain is needed. This will serve as a deterent for drivers who refuse to turn on the meter.
Shopping Tip : Many whole sales for clothing in nearby Pratumum area.

This is my second stay at grand diamond hotel. The location never fails to make me happy. Its so convenient for a shoppaholic like me. I can shop all day arnd the vicinity, Central world plaza is also of walking distance. great staff service ! Staff is always very friendly. I was not very happy that they refused me of late check out this time though even though its just for an hour. thought they could be more flexible since there will be some guest checking in only at night.

Easily accesible all the shopping complex and hotel is in the middle of pathunam joining fee, sound from adjoining room Thia hotel is ideal for shopping, cause it is in the middle of shopping areas, on one side is the platinum mall famous for garments, and on the other side is panthip plaza which is the best place for computers and IT products. I booked a double room for 2 person but the hotel charge me joinning charge for my friends.
