I went back to bangkok after our cambodia tour and we decided to stay at Grand Diamond for one more night before going back to the Philippines. It was the ideal place to stay for my last minute shopping needs. This hotel would be perfect if the renovate the place and hire better, friendlier staff. But as it is, I would still stay here because of the convenient location.

location, service, room, breakfast. this hotel was recommended to us by our friends.
we've booked the hotel by Agoda. the location of the hotel is great. near the hotel (1 minute walking) there is the "Platinum" mall. the pratunam mall is 5-7 minutes walking from the hotel. the MBK and Siam paragon malls are 15-20 minutes walking from the hotel.
the suit is very nice, clean,has enough space, fully accessorized (microwave, kettle etc.),
the bed is quite comfortable
Travel tip : go to see the ocean world in Siam Paragon mall.

Generally Everything is good We were made to understand that WiFi is free while booking but to our dissapointment hotel wants an exorbitant amount which is far too much compared to outside cyber cafe

The best thing i like about this hotel is that its conveniently located beside a wholesale mall- Platinum. And if you walk around the corner, you'll get to the huge upscale central world. They also have a nice Thai massage place in the hotel, which you can also avail via room service.The only downside of this hotel is that it needs to be renovated. the interiors are now old and outdated. But overall, i'd stay here again. Nice breakfast too.

Very nice buffet breakfast and good shopping location This is my first time staying at Grand Diamond.
Though the rate is much higher than other hotel, I think it's definitely worth the price! I was so impress with the room, spacious and well-equipped. There's a mini living room, kitchen, dinning area. The bedroom is pretty big and comfy too, so is the bathroom. Simply enjoy my stay there. Highly reccomended!

the area just perfect
staff are friendly
the rooms at the floor 11 for smokers
and we're recevied the room there
the room was just smelling like an ashtray
the room are very old we found this hotel very convinient for us
the location was just perfect and all the main shopping centers at the area.As I mentioned the 11 floor even if I am a smoker and my wife not it was hard for me.We found a very nice deal by Agoda for a big city as Bangkok but at same time
I could make a reservation for 5 star Millenium Hotel on the main street for 25$ diffrence per night.In the same area the Amari hotel is much better for the same price

Yes is convenient, gd size for the 1 Bedroom suites & 2 bdrms suites but the price wise if it could be slightly cheaper for the suites will be perfectly. The upkeeping of the environment are very still and the furnitures and bathroom are too old it should be refurbished.Lightings are not good cos during my stay it breakdown 3 times and I hv to keep calling for repair works
I would surely recommend more friends or book again for my next trips if there are more promotions pls send me more of yr monthly hotel promotions.
Shopping Tip : Near Pratinum Mall with gd & cheap food & shopping for fashion.

The breakfast is good, and a bunden of choice for you. Try their massage, it's awesome! Convenient to Siam or shopping areas. The bell service and getting a Taxi there is costly, due to the bell boys are being tipped by the driver. It's always my first choice to stay in Grand Diamond. Food, location, massage is all good. Very convenient to do my shopping around, and walking to Central World or even Siam Paragon is just minutes.
Hotel Feature Tip : Their Massage is one of the best in town, so far i've tried so many on the streets. Worth a try!

Great Location. Great Location! Great Location! Rooms are nicely furnished and spacious! The massage centre has been reduced in size and you need to make advance bookings to ensure you get your massage. Wish they will expand this area. This is the 2nd time we stayed in Grand Diamond within the last 6 months and this experience is even better than the previous! The rooms seemed to have undergone a refurbishment! They are much brighter with newer furnishings! The twin-bedded suites are bigger than the double-bedded suites. Again, the location is perfect for shoppers like us! A wonderful experience which will ensure that we return to it again next time!

Good location, Excellent breakfast buffet, friendly staff, comfy clean rooms. Smart bell staff provides top notch service. A little far from BTS stations This is the second time I have stayed at the Grand Diamond Hotel. Its located between Pantip Plaza (IT mall) and Platinum Fashion Mall (wholesale clothing shopping centre which also retails) makes it perfect for people who are looking for a shopping holiday. Rooms are apartments with kitchen and separate bedroom. Full size fridge with freezer makes storing ice cream possibe. Do try the famous chicken rice near the junction. (A 2 min walk)

Good prices when booking was made via Agoda. Our flight arrived late so we didn't check in till 10am. The hotel only had a king bed room left. Lucky my friend didn't mind sharing the bed. I requested for a twin room during booking and specified check in time. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I like its location and nearly all taxi drivers knows about this hotel. Centralworld is about 5-10min walk from the hotel. Pantip plaza and Platinum Fashion mall are on either side of the hotel.

2. Hotel lobby needs a revamp Stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent location if you wanna do shopping. The hotel is situated just beside Platinum - a mall you'll get stuffs at wholesale prices. Walking distance to Isetan, Siam Paragon, Big C... etc. Rooms are comfortable with a kitchenette and nice toilets. Nice breakfast with a variety of food. Stay there if you don't need wifi during your stay.
Travel tip : Traffic is really really bad along the road of the hotel. You might wanna leave for the airport earlier.
