Grand Mercure Asoke Residence is a fresh and newly built (Opened July 2006) five-star home to both short and long-term visitors. Situated within a short walking distance to the renowned Sukhumvit Road as well as the transport links (BTS Asok Station/ MRT Sukhumvit Station), visitors can explore and get around this exciting city easily and conveniently. The residence features 76 all-suite accommodation, each unit is comfortably outfitted and readily equipped with a kitchenette and other modern amenities to make guests feel at home. Leisure facilities at the Grand Mercure Asoke Residence include a roof top swimming pool and a fitness center with steam/sauna for relaxing. An award-winning French restaurant and the extensive wine bar provides an excellent venue to dine and enjoy some of the best French cuisine the city has got to offer. When it's time to leave, simply board the hotel's complementary shuttle service for a hassle-free trip to the airport.

The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Le Beaulieu is a beautifully decorated restaurant, wine bar, and private party option. Up the spiral staircase is an eight-10 person table equipped with its own private bar and smoke-removal machine. The main restaurant seats around 50 people and serves authentic French/Mediterranean fare amidst Sistine ceilings and Tuscan stonework and frescos. Take an epicurean adventure; right on your own ground floor.
Chef Herve Frerad offers Mediterranean cuisine with both French and Italian influences.

Good Spot, hotel services, room amenities The place is convenient to get around bangkok by trains/subway or taxi. The room is very nice and full functioned. I would come back here again next time.

Centrally located, easy access to BTS and MRT, nice big clean room, well equipped kitchen, very helpfull staff Too much light coming into bedroom, curtains dont keep any light outside. This serviced apartment is very well located in the heart of Sukhunmvit area with very easy access to BTS and MRT. Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful and the check-in was efficient and fast. The room is big and clean, nice kitchen with everything you need. Good bed, good batchroom, only thing that can be improved are the curtains in the bedroom, it gets light in the room very early so hard to sleep a bit longer. Overall, very positive!

Great location - about a 8 minute walk to subway or skytrain Food prices are a bit pricey. Dimly lit shower stall This is my first time staying at the Grand Mercure Hotel Asoke. Overall I was very pleased with the stay. For the price, this hotel is quite luxurious. The standard room is quite large, complete with a kitchen, living room, and laundry room. The hotel lobby staff is friendly, and I didn't have a single problem during my 4 night stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

- Wonderful restaurants such as: Le Dalat (Best Vietnamese), Baan Khanitha (probably the best Thai food), Shin Daikoku (one of best Japanese -along with Tsu-Nami), Neil's Tavern for great steaks, and LeBeaulieu in Sofitel is wonderful.
- Siam Society- for Thai lectures, library, small house museum, worth a visit manageable in size.
- The famous Bangkok Dental Spa: first in its kind of spa/dentist office visit. try it even for just a cleaning, if not whitening, just for the novelty.
- Robinson Department Store: A very affordable Thai shopping experience. Discount clothes and more.
- Soi Cowboy: a semi red-light district not too far away, not too close by.
- ASOKE BTS Skytrain Stop about 10 minutes walk. The easiest way to get around even if you take a taxi or moto-taxi to it.

- The new International Airport, Suvarnabhumi, is only about 30mins away.

Sofitel Residence Asoke Bangkok is ideally located at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 19 and Asoke Road. Only minutes aways to Asoke BTS Sky Train Station and Sukhumvit MRT Subway Station. The shopping Center and Queen Sirikit Convention Center are nearby. The new International Airport is only 30 minutes.
