I arrived late at night and had no problem checking in. Showed my voucher and all went smoothly. Was shown where to head for (Tower 3) across the road,and left to my own.The room was old and dated, which didn't excite me when walking in. However the shower worked and I left early next morning. The pictures on the web and what I got however were totally different and disapointing. Would not stay here again on that basis alone. I have to rate Food and Dining in this reveiw to complete. I must mention I gave a 3 but did NOT eat at this Hotel

Room in Tower 3 just very average. A little disappointing to be honest.

The stay is comfortable , just the right place near the skytrain station, all places are walking distance the malls, Sukhamvit road, pubs, massage parlors, good eating places. The hotel gives a free shuttle to night bazaar everyday.The staff is courteous. I feel the internet in the room should be complimentary. Overall a good stay, I have stayed 3 times and can come again same place

Grand President is overall a good place to stay. This is in terms of good quality room, rooftop pool, good location. However it was always necessary to check whether breakfast, internet and a copy of the Bangkok Post was available. These are not expensive extras, but should be included in the rate! Otherwise you feel like a disadvantaged guest. This issue needs to be addressed.

Good rooms, and reasonable swimming pools.

Agoda rates means no breakfast and no use of Internet and no Bangkok Post newspaper.

• Shopping Tip : Go to National Stadium to visit nearby Tescos. So much better than the poor supermarkets in Australia.

Grand President is located on Soi 11, near to Nana BTS and less than 10 minutes walk from Bumrungrad Hospital. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but not too intrusive, so you will not feel like someone is watching everything you do. Good restaurants are on the same soi and the Villa Market is two minutes walk. Good TV selection for a relaxing time, in the heat of the day.

Great hotel, location excellent. Friendly staff, very helpful and efficient, clean rooms but are a little dated, but still quite good. We stayed in Tower 2 in a one bed, it's a very comfortable and spacious with good facilities. We didn't have breakfast as it was included, I'm not sure if that was clear from agoda when I booked it or if I just missed it. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

My stay in Grand President i would call quite comfortable. Although there was no breakfast option, had good kitchen facilities in the room. And many food court near the hotel. Swimming pool located on the roof - so you can enjoy the sun, even in busy located area of Bangkok. Hotel close to entertainment areas Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza and every activities between them. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.Only small windows and no balcony. But what you can expect in the busy Bangkok area.

I have stayed at The Grand President Hotel many times. It is within a 10 minute walk from Bumrungrad Hospital and a 2 minute walk from the BH shuttle bus stop on Sukhumvit. A similar 2 minute walk to the Nana BTS, from where all of Bangkok is reachable. Good internet service, but a bit pricy. I would stay here over any other hotel in the price range.

I had a hard time locating the hotel. There were three towers and the two new towers look good, but I stayed in the old tower that was across the street. The old tower has no restaurant. It was not emphasized in the front desk that my reservation does not include breakfast. I found it uncomfortable crossing the street and having breakfast in the new towers. Overall though, the experience was ok. It was good value for money, even if breakfast was not included.

Simple hotel: clean, good service, good facilities and good location. A little bit pricy for what you get, but overall I am satisfied. Internet connection should be free for guests.
