Good enough.
Paid US$47 a double room. There's a clean swimming pool. Room is clean, of good size.

Room had german roaches and the maid would wake us every single morning early.I have stayed many times over the years here but never again. Every time it has gotten worse. The only reason i stay there is for the German House restaurant and Lemoncello. It is convenient but for the money there many better places and still easy to get where you need to go. I love Bangkok and Soi 11 but for a hotel to get ran down as the President has is just not worth staying in anymore. Five years ago it was great. Two years ago it was still nice but now it was not enjoyable at all.

Grand President Hotel
Very disappointed at the prices that were charged, especially in view of the poor service/attitude of the staff. I have been staying here at least once a year for the last 9 years and I am really sad to say that all aspects of the hotel have deteriorated by 30-40%. Very sad to see..

Good value for money
Deluxe suite was spacious and good if you have kids. Is being renovated so should be better in the future. A bit of noise from the cleaning staff in the morning.

Most disappointing stay ever!!!
This will be my 10th or 12th stay in this hotel and each time the level of service has gone from bad to worse. I have never met some of the staff to be so rude to customers including myself - starting with the receptionist who would reply back saying "So?" to statements like "i would like to check out". Concierge would look other way when telling them to take the luggage to the room unless they are tipped first. The general feeling of the hotel management is "if you dont like the hotel or service just F***k off". The rooms the dirty, toilets are smelly, telephone sets are old and done work; television reception is blurry and over all experience was very poor this time.

The people manning the concierge desk could be more helpful, and also greet the guests.
