Location, service, hotel rooms, amenities, room service, food, bar, band. Had an issue with the air conditioning being too cold. Also, the internet was down for a few hours. There was also a leak in the ceiling outside of my bedroom which no-one noticed until I called the front desk. I really enjoy staying at the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok. It's is in an area that I frequent and is one of the best hotels around... for all the reasons that I've stated above. I will continue to stay at there time and time again.
Restaurant Tip : The food and service is always good at the Bus Stop! And lunch at Jool's is exceptional.

Very high standard
Good location - not city center but close to good restaurant and bar areas. Pool is on 4th floor and in shadow some of the day The hotel is a very nice hotel situated in a good and fairly central part of Bangkok. We were very pleased with the nice and clean rooms, the hotel in general is very nice, and also have a spa area.
Hotel Feature Tip : Pool is open from 7 am to 7 pm. But sun is only present from 12-2pm and again 3-4 pm.

good location-steps away from skytrain. inexpensive places to eat in area you have to drive down a "bar" street to get there i love this hotel. 2min walk to skytrain/1 block to soi 6 with internet and laundry at good prices/plenty of restaurant choices-not just thai but a big middle eastern group of eating places 1 block from hotel. also Bumrungrad hospital is 1 block away. hotel staff is also very nice and accommodating. pool is very nice too
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : closeness to skytrain a big plus

Overall, acceptable, clean & decent rooms. Outside environment vicinity of the hotel found woman loitering around. Many taxi drivers are not familiar with this hotel. You should do more directional signs or distribute/campaign the hotel's existence. Maybe some maps drawn up and place it at the airport. Do more radio and TV advertisements with map thrown in to capture local taxi drivers' attention.

close to NANA BTS, Sukhamvit shopping and other attractions. Rooms are showing their age. The Breakfast buffet was very un-organized Good location. Walking distance to Nana sky train and other attractions on Sukhumvit. Good Gym.

nice 5 star hotel, spacious rooms not a very cozy feel, shaded pool The Grand Sukhumvit Hotel is a nice 5 star property conveniently located near Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. It is large and spacious but doesn't seem very cozy. The staff were nice enough but not overly friendly or helpful. The pool area is nice but shaded. Probably would not stay here again.

it is a hotel that is decent value for money however the location is decent. it is convenient from most locations. pretty close to some good restaurants and bars. staff is good and tries to be helpful but is not as well versed in their where abouts or with directions.

good location close to nana station.happy hour 6-7 breakfast-poor choice for europeans
dinner-average . we enjoyed our stay at the grand sukhumvit hotel especially as we were upgraded to a suite-as we had requested a non-smoking room and this was the only one available at the time. all our needs were met and any requests to housekeeping were delivered immediately. all the staff were friendly.the swimming pool was refreshing.anyone trying to get to the hotel from the airport-if more than one person negitiate a taxi(20-25mins) for 400 baht as the airport bus costs 150 baht each person and takes more than an hour-the location of the hotel is next to the red light district but this did not affect our stay there.
we only had breakfast once as we had very little choice-mainly for chinese-ready prepared hot dishes.
Nightlife Tip : near soi 4-the red light district of bangkok
soi cowboy-bet soi 21 and 23 where a gi opened the first girlie bar in bangkok

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel which is very conveniently located within all amenities.My room was spacious and bright and above all the staff were always willing to assist in all areas with a smile!I was a bit disappointed at the reception desk as twice or thrice I had to wait 20 -25 minutes before I was attended to!!
Nightlife Tip : Good location with abundant nightlife spots and entertainment areas!

The room and bed were very comfortable. The quality, quanity, and assortment of food at the breakfast and dinner was outstanding. The pool was clean and nicely designed and the food and service at the pool was also very good. The hotel staff was very friendly and made you feel like they appreciated your business. I would not hesitate to stay there on my next visit to bangkok,

More staff at reception required We had a very memorable and enjoyable stay at the hotel which is very conveniently located within all amenities and services.I also found the hotel very reasonably priced to suit all levels of guests.However I would want to say that the restaurants could have been more to meet the varying needs of travellers today!
