Great 3 days in a superb Hotel
Large double room with everything you could possibly need. Service was superb not only at front desk but also housekeeping was prompt and very efficient
9.7
We had 3 delightful and relaxing days in the Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri hotel. The double room was really spacious, the decor was simple but tasteful, the kitchen facilities in the room were great although we would have welcomed a small bottle of milk in refrigderator on arrival. Having free wifi internet connection was also a great plus although I found having to reinsert the username and password every morning a slight inconvenience. The location of hotel on the BRT railway system meant access to anywhere in downtown Bkk was very convenient. The pool was great but we found that the dark colored tiling and the fact that it is shaded most of the day except early morning gave it a slightly foreboding appearance. The buffet breakfast included in our room rate was comprehensive and food was well cooked with very enjoyable personal service from staff. We only had one evening meal in the hotel restaraunt but this was an exceptional experience. We had Thai food which was beautifully presented and delicious. The fine tastes were never overdone. The rates for our room and meal were extremely competitive. All in all a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.
Shopping Tip:
Take the BRT elevated railway one stop to Siam and Siam Paragon shopping complexes for some great shopping

Quality hotel but the room service menu is lacking
Great room. Very clean and fresh.
8.7
The staff were very friendly. The facilities area which consisted of Gym, Steam room , Sauna, Childs play room, Library, Cinema room, Coffee room and pool was very nice. A few staff hovering around the pool area offering drinks etc would have made it amazing.
The breakfast was a 3 out of 5
Shopping Tip:
Siam square is one stop on the skytrain and Mbk is 2 stops.

beautiful hotel, great value!
Size of suite, location of property

we got an amazing deal on a grand suite here and it was fantastic! it was our first time to bangkok and this room (larger than many homes in the city) was a welcome retreat from the hustle below. it was very convenient to the skytrain and walkable to so much. the in-room laundry was the main reason we chose this suite over another hotel (costing us only about night usd) but having the extra space that we didn't have on the rest of our asian trek was a really nice bonus (we had our 9 year-old son with us). beautiful property, great breakfast, the best value.

Very comfortable hotel albeit "dry".
Location, comfortable rooms, excellent service.
9.3
from the moment we checked in we knew we would enjoy our stay; and we did! management seemed to have thought of everything, 'countering' the fact that no alcohol is served in the hotel with complimentary and much welcome tea & coffee in the lobby. the coffee shop served a good selection of thai and international cuisine. very friendly service with the staff generally eager to serve. a small hiccup. the prices first quoted for spa services, turned out to be quite different to what was charged. the hadn't included the "plus, plus" element! [the spa does not actually belong to the hotel group]
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you know you are going to require a 'drink' there is a supermarket some 5 minutes away.

Nice Room, average breakfast
7
Nice hotel, looks very grand from a distance and the foyer is pretty impressive. Rooms are a decent size but the hallways to the rooms reminded me of a hospital corridor.
The staff at the reception desk were lovely.
The breakfast was very average. Again it felt like i was in a hospital cafeteria. I am lactose intolerant and there was no soy milk. I did ask and they did check for me but unfortunately they did not have any. Shame. Ordered room service one night and that was quite good.
Pool and gym facilities were good.
The location is quite good, seemed to be surrounded by other high end hotels. Close to the BTS and a short walk to Central World shopping centre and Siam Sq.
It isnt far to anywhere in Bangkok with cheap taxis. It cost 240 Bhat to the airport and that was metered!!

Good value hotel for longer stay
Main shopping areas within walking distance
7.3
Although it is supposed to be a five stars hotel, it is not well known by local or taxi. It's mouthful long name and off main road location do not help as well. Once you are in the hotel, it looks and feel like a five stars hotel alright. The room is spacious and even come with a kitchen and washing machine as well. Ideal for long stay. Breakfast spread is not quite five stars but decent enough.
