Hotels with CCTV all over the place
Clean and spacious suite room. Washing machine and dryer in room and hotel provide washing powder too. Ideal if you wish to travel light and recycle your clothes. There is a movie room on the 7th floor and you can book a time slot and have exclusive use of the room for your family. Can consume tidbits and non alcoholic drinks in room.

There is no way you can sneak in another guest in the same room. CCTV installed everywhere and there is one just outside your room. Hotel actually monitor the movement of the guest in and out of the room. On the Second day, saw a bill to charge an additional person slipped under our room door. Went to the reception to clarify and was told to pay for the additional person though bedding is enough.Agreed to pay and before I leave, the duty manager commented that "make sure" I pay for breakfast for the additional guest. Lower your standard when it comes to service and warmth from the hotel staff. I must say the housekeeping did a great job.
Shopping Tip:
5 to 10minutes walk to mrt. Walkable to major shopping mall, about 20minutes walk. Alternatively, take a mrt from hotel(Ratchadamri station) and alight at Siam station. That's where all the major shopping malls are located. For local tidbits, you can get from chinatown which is cheaper or for Siam Paragon's supermarket where you can get a wide variety of local tidbits, thai spices and paste.
Tuk Tuk ride can be fun for young kids. However, if you wish to experience it, try to go for short distance ride. Tried travelling on Tuk Tuk form Chinatown to hotel. Price was agreed and driver said he knew the way. He later detoured and brought us to a remote hotel and commented to raise fare as hotel was further. Tuk Tuk later travelled on the expressway and went against the traffic several times. We were just thankful to reach hotel without any injuries. However, it was a fun ride for the kids.
Taxi will charge a flat during peak hours. Sometimes, fare can be double. Have to bargain. If you are leaving from hotel, the bellboy can help to get a taxi at no additional charge for you and the taxi charge by meter. It is good to get the hotel name card as the hotel map is in the card just in case the taxi got lost on it's way back.

hotel is very nice but is really apartments, pool is very nice and big but by 1 pm the sun is hidden behind the building so not good for sun tanning nor is there pool side service.
there isn't a bar in the hotel so we went out each evening to eat and drink.
check in was swift and we had free wi fi for our stay. this was our third stay at this location and i would recommend the hotel for the location and price.

overall experience was ok, however, details provided on the website of what to expect in the room wasn't much. staff was nice. room was clean, however, breakfast area had no view, no windows which wasn't good. choices of breakfast were similar to hotels with the same class. robe in the room was so rough. taxi was available on spot.

The hotel is next to shopping places within easy walking distance.

starting with a nice welcome drink during check in, the service throughtout the stay was meticulous.
i enjoyed the large swimming pool with the adjacent gym.
one floor below, next to the complimentary breakfast room, was a splendid spa which was a bit pricy but was of highest quality.
i will return to stay in this hotle when i next travel to bangkok.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The wooden roman blinds in the room are not very effective to block the sunlight.
