Great location for shopping
location, room size, facilities, cost
8.7
stayed here on my second trip to bangkok, the first time i went i did most of the major sights in the city so this time we just wanted to relax and do some shopping. and the location of this hotel is excellent for that, central world is a short walk away, there is a bts station located very close if you want to take the train but its basically faster to just walk if you want to go to central world or the surrounding malls. the room we had was very large and had kitchen, table and washing machine. it was very convenient to have a washing machine in the room since we were staying for 1.5 weeks so we could wash some clothes during the stay. the pool area outside was nice although the pool is not heated and when we were there it was not warm enough to swim, especially since the area was in the shade. the gym was very nice, much better than the usual small room with some machines. it had quite a decent selection and its own changing rooms and counter where you could borrow towels. the room was nice and clean and the internet worked well and the speed was good. i think the price paid was quite reasonable given the location and size of the room, the hotels located right around it are much more expensive.
the breakfast was fine, i don't care much for most normal hotel breakfasts, they had the usual eggs and bacon, cereal, fruits and a selection of asian dishes which were so so. i normally prefer to go out to eat instead since there are so many more interesting places to eat.
Shopping Tip:
Since the area of the hotel contains mostly other hotels, it wasn't too obvious to find a convenience store to get some drinks and snacks but there is one located next to erawan shrine in the basement of the mall there and its open late even after the mall is closed.

great location and pool...big rooms, clsoe to skytrain, excellent facilities including gym. Breakfast selection is ok, but its in a restuarant on the 6th floor with no windows...not the best for breakfast really. Toiletries are average.

Very spacious and close to the scene!
7.7
we are living in bangkok, but we stayed here for 1 night to sightsee the countdown event for new year eve. the location is fantastic since it is only 5 minutes walk to the crowded scene at ratchaprasong intersection and bts.
the overall service is good, we got an upgrade to the corner room where we can have panoramic window view, a bedroom separated from living room.

This stunning hotel is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.The food is of excellent quality and superb value.
We have been to 80 countries world-wide, and our experience in
Grande Centre Point surpassed any other hotel we have ever
stayed in.It's location is very close to all of the main attractions in Bangkok. Excellent courteous and friendly staff. We most certainly shall stay at this hotel next time we are in Bangkok.
Shopping Tip:
Close to MBK Shopping Centre.

Lovely well equipped rooms, great views and access
near to 2 mrt lines, near to malls, nice pool and wonderful views
8.7
lovely stay, room was fantastic value and staff very helpful, a washing machine in the room was brilliant before we set off on our travels to vietnam. great if you want to be near the shops, not so great if you want to be near the river/major monuments, but you can't have it all. travel in bangkok is so slow you just have to accept it. breakfasts are a bit fast and furious, but it's a big hotel with lots of people to feed, the food is good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Giant sofas by the pool get most of the sun, get there early though

the grande centre point ratchadamri is an urban paradise in the heart of bangkok. set in the ratchaprasong area, overlooking one of the city’s most prestigious skylines, the hotel is steps away from high-street fashion and lifestyle malls such as gaysorn, amarin, centralworld and siam paragon. the two bts skytrain stations, chidlom and ratchadamri, are both a short stroll from the hotel.
