Service at the restaurant was bad. The supervisor argued with us over the entry for the children, I think the matter could have been settled more amicably. Front desk efficient but not very friendly. Location of the hotel is good but Central World Centara would have been better. Other than that the hotel is very nice and my family liked it very much.

Great hotel in an excellent location

Once stepping into the hotel, the huge lobby area immediately gives me a sense of a grand hotel. The staff members are very polite, friendly and helpful. Opening the room door, the first thing I saw was the larger than normal size of the room, and of course the excellent city view. I was particularly impressed by the amenities in the room, such as kitchen, washer/dryer, free wireless internet connection and direct fax line. It gives me a grand but yet at home feeling. The location of the hotel is excellent which is within walking distance to all the great shopping malls and the Erawan Shrine. The only complaint I have is the limited selection of the buffett breakfast.

The hotel was recommended by a friend. I like the Executive Apartment concept. The rooms are nice and facilities are exceptional. Borrowed DVDs and watched in the room.
I was really surprised by the way we were treated when we registered. I have no problem in them asking for our passports to be photocopied. But having us to sign a declaration form to be responsbile for any damage, is just TOO MUCH. Since we have paid 100% upfront to AGODA, we were required to deposit 4,000 bath in case we incurred further charges. I was surprised with this request. I have travelled to Chile, Mexico, USA, Canada, Europe,Middle East and have never come across such a request. My concept of staying as hotel guest is to be welcomed. I didn't feel welcome by this gesture.
It took a while for the staff to sort out our room. Asking for breakfast coupon was a real challenge. The staff told us they will send to our rooms but they ended giving coupons from other guests and not in the right amount of guests in our rooms. This may sound trivial but I think how competence the staff do make or break the hotel service.
Could this be the problem with Bangkok hotel hospitality in general? But I did stayed at Hyat Erawan, Four Seasons and Intercontinental Hotels in Bangkok and was NEVER treated this way.
Definitely not coming back.

Stayed in a non-smoking room. The hotel is just less than 10 minutes walk from the Erawan Shrine in Chit Lom. There is a Skytrain in less than 5 minutes walk. The room is clean and comfortable, especially enjoyed the view of the golf course. Free bottled water per person stored in the fridge everyday, and they even provided washing powder! Free wifi, use of DVD player, and provided a wide variety of different TV channels. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is very good, staff is qualified, the lobby is very class and we feel a very unique atmosphear inside. Teh room are spacious and the scwimming pool is very convenient. The location is great as you just have to walk to be directly in the center of bkk. It is a very good choice.

Overall a wonderful stay at this hotel! Upgraded from a deluxe room to a 1 bedroom suite at check-in. Beautiful views, comfortable and very clean. Conveniently located next to Central World - able to pick up snacks and drinks there. Needed to see a hotel doctor pre-dawn, and one came within a half hour - all showed true concern about our illness, including a get well note from front desk staff!
Restaurant Tip:
Excellent restaurants on the 7th floor at Central World and reasonably priced too!

Its a nice hotel, rooms are very nice, but the service isn't good enough, there's no taxi available and check out and check in policy no souple enough. Brekfast is quite OK. But not many restaurant choice to go in the hotel. Looks like a 5 stars but it isn't.
