Great holiday location for family with kids

My family had a very good vacation in this hotel. Clean and spacious room, pretty swimming pool with free cold tea provided, loving the free hot beverage provided at lobby, free wifi everywhere in hotel, kind and nice staff, good locations nearby shopping centres and supermarkets. Overall, a very nice stay and experience in this hotel.

A Thai friend recommended this friendly serviced apartment and it's good value for money fot a four star facilities. Lobby is very cordial and the lighting is right. At the reception, one or two local Thai could speak n understand English. But some pretend they know but keep missing the points n guests would get frustrated. Overall more than OK.
Next the lift is modern n nothing to comment. I was staying on the 35F facing the Race Course n very reasonable view. However, the floor on the 35F was very unimpressive with white floor tiles. Carpet should be better n make the place looks more four star.
I was staying in a one bed apartment. In the apartment, definitely outstanding n everything was great say the WIFI, washing machine (no instruction though n trial n error for me), TV, etc. Very comfortable wooden settings n very spacious. Only one point was the white wooden curtain which could not block out the glaring sunlight of Bangkok so I was awaken early every day. Hotel should think more about ways of blocking the sunlight say curtain or a more innovative way. For the white wooden curtain they blend well with the interior design. HOTEL BE AWARE THEN.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taxi drivers are more often than not looking to do a quick one on tourists. Say charge u a bond for a short taxi ride so please always ask for METER OK?, then u won't go wrong. Taxi drivers or hotel concierge always try to send u to non official private pier where rebate will be dish out to agents who bring them poor informed tourist like me. FOLLOW GUIDE BOOK AND USE BANGKOK RIVER BOAT N MAX 100Baht only. Good Luck.

I have returned to this hotel many times. I like it a lot. Big lobby, big rooms, clean, friendly staff. The only thing is the restaurant. Cold, serve no alcoholic beverages what so ever, coz management is muslim. So if you like some wine with your food or a beer, find another eatery.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay on your trip to Bangkok, look no further. As a frequent traveller to Thailand I concluded long ago that staying in serviced apartments was a much better option than the usual branded hotel operations, better value for money, spacious rooms but still keeping the service standards of hotels. Well, this is the the best I've stayed in so far. Pay the bit extra for the Grand Suite and you won't be disappointed. Located in the heart of the city, walking distance from the big Malls in Siam, close to the BTS stations of Chit Lom and Ratchedamri, you couldn't be better placed to explore the city.
For your money you get a bedroom with king sized bed, en suite bathroom, open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. No mini bar, but a big fridge to put your own drinks in. There's even a washing machine so you can go home with clean clothes:-)
The hotel has a very decent pool with plenty of shallow areas for the kids. There's a well equipped gym too.
Down side? Can't think of one right now.

Have stayed here many times, and used to live across the street years ago. I love this location, the rooms have washer/dryers, fridges, and free wireless internet, which makes it a perfect place to stay when I'm back in town, whether for work or holiday. Very nice rooms of good size, too.
Shopping Tip:
Walking distance to Amarin Plaza, Panthip, Pratunam, Big C, CentralWorld, Siam Paragorn and MBK.
