Great Hotel for the price. Has an excellent pool and gym facilities. Had a massage at the in-house spa which was absolutely fantastic. Staff were very attentive and spoke reasonable English. Only down side is the lack of a hotel bar however with the location being so central you don't have to walk to far for a cold Singha!. Would highly recommend to any fellow traveller.

Entry-level five star, at best... Disappointing.
Great lobby, nice views... but that's roughly where it ends.

Pros:
Great views (standard, considering this is a 50 floor hotel).
Impressive lobby.
Delicious restaurant (just one, for the entire hotel).
Location is decent (about 10 minute walk from Siam Paragon, Siam Square, MBK, etc...).
Cons (quite a few...):
Service, to be quite honest, is lacking. Seldom a smile, or any pleasantness in the front desk staff. Maybe I've spent too much time in Japan, but... for a five star, they certainly do not make you feel, like a welcome "guest". I've been at the hotel for nearly 2 weeks now, and this is a daily sentiment. Maybe they don't get paid enough, but the staff basically has an "all business" face on, at all times- that hardly reflects the kind of warm service, you'd hope for at a hotel of this calibre.
Food (breakfast buffet). Brutal. Honestly, for lack of better terms, just brutal. The breakfast buffet restaurant, and the quality of the food, would be deemed great, if we were at a 2 or 3 star hotel. But for a five star (or even four star) this is unacceptable. The food quality, is on par with what you'd find at a truck stop diner on any major highway in North America or Europe. It's just "eat and run" kind of food. Quality, freshness, and general presentation, just isn't there. I was very surprised to see this kind of eatery and food, contained at a hotel like this. The regular "all day" restaurant (Mesamis cafe, I believe it's called) is wonderful. Food, service, is world-class. But the little chamber they have set up for their breakfast buffet, and the food contained therein, seriously... wouldn't even fit in a four star- maybe a three star, at best. Very disappointing.
Internet service: while this may be trivial to most... for myself, a business traveler, I have my laptops running nearly 24-7, doing tasks for me even while I'm out. At this hotel, the internet service is cut off (reset) every 12 hours (not 24). At approx. 10:30 am, and again, around that same time at night. Every day, li
Restaurant Tip:
If hungry, eat at the Mesamis cafe on the first floor. The food is spectacular. Stay away from the room service food, or- especially- the breakfast buffet. After my first night there, I just stopped accepting the breakfast vouchers at the front desk, as the food is so bland, and lacking decent quality, I'd just walk 10 minutes to the mall, and eat there instead every morning.

After staying at the Grande Centre Point last year and being dissatisfied it was with reluctance that I booked there again this year, but the price on offer was very good, and it is in a good location.
But once again it failed to live up to its 5 star rating, the other Centre Point hotels are far better. Whilst the rooms are nice the service is poor, reception is slow and surly, and breakfast is mayhem. The large tour parties that use the hotel mean that breakfast is chaotic, if you're down early it's ok, but usually you find many dishes are finished and the staff seem slow and reluctant to put out more food.
I won't stay here again.

This hotel deserves a five-star. The room is great, big and well-maintained. The location is convenient, within walking distance to BTS and central world. It is close to the express way exit, so no need to worry about traffic jam. The breakfast is not bad indeed, but not for those picky guys.

Perfectly located, near shops, restaurants, public transportation...
Very clean, no carpet in the hallways and rooms which I like. The insuite washer/dryer is a bonus.
Will defintely return to stay, and to recommend to friends.

Great location
Location is good. The hotel is clean, mostly tile and wooden floors which I really like.

Buffet breakfast is average. Insuite washer/dryer is a bonus, but dryer takes more than double the time to dry clothes adequately.
We have enjoyed the pool, which is nicely surrounded by greens, very pleasant.
Will definetely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Travel tip:
Travel by foot or skytrain is easy. Excellent location.

I enjoyed the stay as the hotel is well appointed. The rooms are clean and has great view ie not facing endless traffic. The kitchenettes and other facilities en suite is good for families.
Travel tip:
Bangkok is good for shopping and tours. The Central World and Paragon shopping centers are withing walking distance. The whole experience was Charming.

The location of the hotel is good, just next to the Four Seasons Hotel and close to the Four-face budda and shopping centers, that's very converient for shoppers. But the weakness is the restaurant of the hotel, the breakfast buffet is not very good comparing to the same rating of hotels in Bangkok, as well as the fusion restaurant of the hotel, which is disappointed. But the Spa of the hotel is highly recommended.
