it was our first trip overseas and we could not fault the hotel ,, short walk to sky train ,, short walk to shops and plenty of metered taxis ,, hotel staff were lovely but communication was hard as not a lot of English spoken , but we were in their country .. restaurant was really good ,, b/fast was great ,, overall we would go there again .. best creme brulee i,ve had in years.. lovely pool and gym and great relaxing reading room .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
learn how to use the skytrain ,, very cheap , quick and you dont get hounded by took took drivers who are very pushy.

Excellent Hotel with good location

The hotel is situated near the famous 4-Faced Buddha Temple as well as the Central World shopping centre. The lobby looks great and the room looks fantastic. However bellboy services were bad and not professionaly executed. Calling of taxy - much to be desired and there is no priority given to those who booked/que earlier.

we checked in for 3 nights and the location is 5 minutes walk from 4 face buddha and 10 minutes to discovery center. hotel is very well kept and looks new with a nice huge hall welcoming all their guest.
i was greeted with a nice glass of honey lemon grass drink immediately upon approaching the reception to check-in. i also did not have to ask for the password for the free wifi and was handed to me on a printed sheet.
staff are well mannered and helpful.
i will definitely make this my 1st choice of hotel to stay in bangkok.
i recommend anyone heading to bangkok to give this hotel a chance to experience the hospitality.

great location and only minutes walk to dicovery center, siam paragon and platinum plaza. these are the most popular shopping area boasting a huge variety of products for everyone. platinum is a wholesale center with prices already discounted. there is also chutchuchat and pattuhnum where is a taxi ride away that is mean for local with prices much lesser and there you can find very interesting things.

We have two young boys (4 and 2 yrs) and we stayed at Grande Centre Point Ratchadamri for 11 nights and 12 days. I must say this place lived up to the highly positive reviews that I have read on every hotel website I could find on the net!!
The staff were very polite and more than happy to help and ALWAYS greeted us with smiles and a polite 'Hello'. Breakfast menu was great with a broad selection of warm and hot foods and also fresh produce as well. There was enough variety to keep me interested for the whole 12 days.
Our kids took a particular liking to the duty manager of the breakfast cafe as he always greeted them by their names and made them feel very welcome (thanks Watty). I must say Thailand is a very child friendly country.
We did look for cheaper alternatives around the area but I am glad we chose this hotel. We all felt that the service and hospitality offered to us was a real value for money.

One of the best hotels

This is one of the best hotels that we have stayed in Bangkok so far. It is walking distance to BTS and Central World shopping centre. The staff are always smiling, friendly and greets you whenever they see you. The swimming pool is nice and the outdoor couple chair is just adorable.
The room is clean and spotless and the view was just breath taking. The windows are from the knee up to the ceiling, every night we will leave the window open enjoy the night sky and lights from the far away buildings.
I will definately recommand this place to all my friends and family. I can't wait to come back to this hotel again.
Shopping Tip:
there is a new mall called terminal 21. you can take the bts skytrain to asoke station. it's cheaper and faster.

very spacious room (suite) so nice to come back to after a busy day out. staff were good and the breakfast was also very good, worth getting at this hotel unlike others that provide very little the grande centre point puts on a good spread and doesn't charge the earth. this hotel is very close to both bts train lines which is very handy rachdamri and chidlom.also only 15 min walk to siam centre if you realy want the walk. iv'e stayed in many hotels in bkk over the years, this one measures up to it's 5 star rating.
Shopping Tip:
Close to Siam. MBK and Paragon shopping centres also close to Central World, Zen and Central Chidlom.

Perfect home away from home for extended stay
Washing machine/dryer, full sized fridge and microwave in unit, fantastic bathroom (large and functional) plus wonderful staff and ambience throughout.

My daughter and I booked this hotel sight unseen and were more than happily surprised by the quality and the standard set by the hotel and its staff. I normally stay at the Peninsula Bangkok and I feel the Grande Centre Point Ratchamadri was equally comfortable. The location of the GCR was perfect for shopping, the BTS and fine dining, along with supermarket food and street shopping. Will definitely stay there again next trip.
