The Grande Ville is the only high-rise hotel in China Town, so views from the 220 rooms and the rooftop restaurant are panoramic. The Chao Praya River, the Royal Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, the Giant Swing, the Golden Mount and Old Siam are all within a short taxi ride. Just outside the hotel are the jewelry row, Yoawarat Road markets, and Central Department Store. A 10-min taxi ride gets you to the expressway entrance for easy access to Suvarnabhumi Airport and other Bangkok attractions, while the MRT subway station is a 15-minute walk away. Families with young children Australia, May 15, 2013	Comfortable beds and excellent views from the roof comfortabe beds view from the roof 6.7 Restaurant staff don't appear to understand English. Food was so-so with traditional thai food brought out on a bed of chips (fries) instead of rice. Large drinks menu but told that only beer and lemon juice were available. Fantastic view from the restaurant.
