we stayed one night in the city suite. the design of the room is very good. The vanity area is espeically spacious. It's perfect for business travllers. The only downside is that the staff is not that smart.

i have stayed in hansar bangkok hotel many times. the modern architecture is innovative yet has great warmth. great use of light, wood, and textures. apparently it has won awards. the service is always good, and the breakfast is always great. this hotel never feels busy or noisy. i always get a good night's sleep. nice italian restaurant across the road.
Shopping Tip:
Walking distance, or one train stop to Siam Paragon shopping centre.

This is the second visit to the Hansar and again I wasn't disappointed. I received an upgrade to a larger suite which was really enormous with a nice view across Lumpini Park.
The hotel offers a very nice breakfast selection in a small relaxed breakfast room.
There is a cafe on the premises offering a selection of western and Asian food at reasonable prices. The spa is also very good.
The hotel offers good discreet service in a very relaxed atmosphere.

this is the third time i booked into this hotel in the last six months, very convenient close to four seasons and all the shopping. when the traffic is bad, there are still tons of place you can walk around and shop and eat without the need for a taxi!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Paragon buliding and aquarium.
If you have children, ask to reception at the zoo. The name is World Safari and then request the taxi booking to them. You can have very nice experience.

The prime selling point for this hotel is its location. Located a stones throw away from the rajdamri bts station it's very convenient to get anywhere around Bangkok.
Hotel is also very tastefully furnished and rooms were very comfortable and clean.
It has a very nice 25 m infinity pool for lap swimming and gym was well equipped.
There is also a ver nice spa in the hotel of which one can indulge in spa treatments for total relaxation.
The breakfast spread was comprehensive and quite large spread.
Service was prompt and very friendly.
I'll definitely plan a return visit but prices for this establishment seem to be on the rise!

we were not impressed upon arrival given the following:
-suite was filled with the smell of smoke and cigarettes when we had already specifically asked for a non-smoking room
-huge white dust balls would blow into the room from the air conditioner units (which are located near the ceiling) when using the hair dryer
-after being given a different room due to the smell of cigarettes in our first room, the new room also wreaked of cigarettes after turning on the air conditioner for a half hour
-there was not enough light in the hotel - whether in the rooms or in the lobby, everything always appeared quite dark despite all curtains being pulled back, etc. this is more of a preference comment so if you prefer darker hotels, then this may be your place to stay.
having said this, the rooms were spacious and well designed - nice to have a sofa in the room. contemporary design, generally clean (outside of the air quality issue). in addition, the location was quite convenient - very close to a bts station as well as lumphini park.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go for a walk/run in Limphini Park.

This hotel provides great locational convinience to the tourist. Since it is quite a new hotel,its room condition is fairly clean,and also Staffs are generally kind.Just one thing ,only if i'm being picky,bothers me is its bed condition. First, the length was a little bit short that i feel,and it's was not my favorite firmness.However, It was a generally nice and fun to stay.
