First of all, we liked the Heritage Baan Silom Hotel very much.Its location is perfect for a downtown place. It´s not quite in the front line of Silom street.It´s set back ,with a nicely lit and open courtyart .The building looks historic and gives you a "Thai feeling".The rooms are well designed all in black and white and have a very modern look. In your room you have free W-lan and internet facilities in the lobby. Room has minibar,free water ,free Coffe/tea and there is a fan plus aircondition.Bathrooms have a nice and chic look. The frontdesk staff is very friendly and helpful ,but when we were there ,they were all female and you end up carrying your luggage to your room yourself although they are eager to carry it for you. The Hotel splits up in two buildings. Try to get a room in the main building .Rooms in the other building ar closer to Silom road and it is extremely noisy esp. the sound of the motorbikes. we will definitely stay in this Hotel again, it´s really worth the money.

Location is excellent .Oriental Hotel ,Expresssboat ,Pat Pong night market etc in walkingdistance. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are well desined ,black and white, no luxuory but everything there you need. Free W-lan, Coffee making facilitys ,free water, fan plus aircon

It is a bit noisy from streets especially in the front building facing silom street. Front desk staff is female. They are there to carry your luggage, but hardly any male would let them do this. So you end up carrying your bags to the 2nd floor yourself.

• Shopping Tip : Opposite the Hotel is an excellent silk shop. Anita´s Silk caters to the Royal family. It´s not one of the cheapest options in town but the quality and the choice are top.

I pointed out poor service to the management of the hotel and they assured me that this would improve. Sent flowers and fruit to the room for Valentine's Day , which was a thoughtful gesture and supplied slippers upon request. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I hope that they improve as I would certainly like to use this hotel again.

• Shopping Tip : Close to the shops along Silom Road - an interesting and established shopping area.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would stay here again. It had everything I expected, except for the elevators.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to Silom Road and the night market. A 10-minutes walk to the skytrain.
