I thought the hotel was excellently located for getting around Bangkok,close to MRT.Friendly staff I realy enjoyed my stay here and will definately stay again.The room was an excellent size and well equipped.Only thing on the down side was no hot water but I think that is a long term problem of this place.Being a vegetarian I found the breakfast a bit limited,but thats Thailand for you (Me!)

Clean, Bright, Nice Rooms and Cheap! My favourite hotel. I have stayed there for 3 times till date. If you looking for a boutique hotel for a good price, this is it.
The rooms are spacious and clean. For the price it is unbeatable. It is near Huay Kwang and the night market there is very much suitable for the ladies since it closes very late.
For guys looking for "action" it is not very far off those massage palours as well.
Overall a highly recommended hotel unless you are a diehard fan of Sukhumvit area and want to go to MBK and those Central World area as it can be a bit far via Cab.
Restaurant Tip : Must try Song Boon Seafood restaurant. Very near the hotel. Cheap delicious seafood!! MUST TRY!!!

It's not far away from the MRT
1.almost all taxi drivers don't know where it is
2.when I take a shower,it is not easy to keep the bathroom dry and clean
if you want to visit the night life of the bkk
it might be a good choice to you
something I'm not satisfied is
there is no sliding door or eve a curtain between the toilet and the shower place
So when I take a shower I can not keep the rest of the bathroom dry and clean
besides, because the hotel is just near the pallzzo,maybe cheaper price will make it more
competitive

This hotel was nice for the money we paid, the rooms have a dvd player, plasma, we got a cool studio room so was hapy with it overall would stay here again for the right price taxis could never find there way back so if ur stayin here get them to write it in thai for u so u can show the taxi man, as they cannot read english which is on the card they give u. the bed is a little hard but nothing major, my boyfriend is quite tall and me too so the shower head was made for a small person, these are all minor things tho. nice and clean. Staff at reception dont have great english either. Restaurant Tip : food in hotel is nice...

The hotel is quite new as compare to Palazzo which is next to it. This is one of the better hotel around the area which I've tried most. The hotel staff is friendly and it's walking distance from the local market place which you can find many local foods. There is no much facilities & free internet in the hotel. Getting lunch around is also a problem as most of the eating place nearby only open in the evening. Hip Hotel is the newer hotel in Rachadek area and the traffic in that area is not as bad as other. Train station is within walking distance and you can find local food nearby too. The room is clean and big with few occasion where aircon is spoil. With the room rate, this hotel is consider value for money.

The hotel is in good location on ratchada road. The room is very nice and clean, good decoration, nice plasma TV with DVD player. Cool room has bath tube which is good for a couple. The view is good. Light to the room is good for photo taking. Overall is good and satisfied.

Rooms were clean and spacious.
Breakfast selection was reasonable.
Access not so convenient. Reception staff were very friendly during check-in and process was quick and fuss-free. The room was bright, clean and spacious. Although the access to the hotel was a little far from the MRT station, it wasn't too bad. I had a good experience on my first stay and would recommend this to my friends.

Budget price, Generous breakfast, DVD player, Rain showerhead No swimming pool, expensive internet, not enough English choices on cable, poor location. Hip Hotel offers good value budget accomodation. Rooms are stylish fitted with plasma TVs and DVD players, and the complimentary breakfast has plenty of choices. For the money, you can't really complain. However competition is such that there are better choices. The view from the rooms is unspectacular- sewer treatment plants and run down residential tenancies. There is no swimming pool. Be nice if wi fi internet was offered free.And there is always the hassle of taxi drivers not knowing the hotel.
Travel tip : There is no advantage taking toll roads from the airport if you are staying at this hotel or this area. Shouldn't pay more than 250 BHT (including airport surcharge of 50 BHT) for the trip.

A trendy looking hotel. As it is newly renovated, the items in rooms are new. The bed is very comfortable. A value for money hotel. The hotel was in a side lane, not so close to MRT station. Hip Hotel is newly renovated from an old building. The new renovation is hip, and most stuff in room are trendy looking. The bed are very comfortable, a plus point for tired traveller who is looking for a good sleep. The breakfast is quite normal, not a wide spread of selection.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : In the same side lane, there are a few very good Thai message shop. Cheaper than big name Thai message place, and they do really good Thai message, and foot message.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Public transport is accessible so do take it to avoid the infamous bangkok jams.

Large and comfortable room. It is clean and within my expectation. The air conditioner is very noisy and had to be switched off to enjoy a peaceful rest. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the HuayKwang station. Taxi drivers were not familiar with the hotel. Simple direction like the Emerald hotel will bring the taxi to the hotel easily. Breakfast is within expectation for the price.

Sometimes water isn't hot. We stayed at this hotel for one month, and the hotel staff was great again. Quick delivery of our luggage after check in. The hotel staff is always great. The housekeeping was good too. I've stayed at Hip Hotel many times already and never stay anywhere else. Close by to the subway. Night market behind the hotel within walking distance too.

nice interior and exterior and friendly staffs water is not hot enough and the flow of water is slow. i was impressed by the nice decoration of my room. It comes with big lcd screen and good sound system and a very big bathtub.The night market is just round the corner with very nice local food and things there are really cheap. There is also a very nice massage centre just 2 mins walk away called Lemongrass. Those who like traditional massage, should give it a try.
