The residence is a good business class (3 star)hotel but with limited facilities. On the plus side, rooms are large and free wifi is available (albeit the speed is variable and generally slow). There are also free to use terminals in the lobby. Oddly, as our suite had a small kitchenette, there were no pots and pans, or crockery and cutlery for preparing and eating meals. There are very few eating places in the immediate area of Sukhumvit where the residence is located but a one stop ride to On Nut on the Skytrain will take you to an area of stalls and open air "beer gardens" where good cheap local food and drink can be found. There is also a food court in the mall on the opposite side of the road.
Shopping Tip:
You must visit the massive shopping complexes at Siam Square (8 stops from Hopelands on the Skytrain)

Very nice rooms with everything you could ask for,,clean and good service but to far from the nightlife area and to quiet at the pool area,,,not gonna stay there again even though i loved the rooms!
Restaurant Tip:
There was a Restaurant on the other side of sukomvit road, just a 2 minutes walk to the left when you come out from the hotel,,exelent food and not expensive! Forgot the name,,but there is only one so you cant miss the place!

Efficient, Friendly hotel for economical travel

Located near the Phra Khanong BTS station (not 100 meters, more like 300) this hotel is efficent, clean, cost effective and nice to stay at. It lacks some ammenities that might be nice, the wireless is unstable and there is a lack of surrounding restaurants, but overall the value for money is very good. The rooms are clean and efficient and pleasent. The staff is freindly and efficient.

Clean hotel with minimal design in the room provides your needs, specifically if you just stay at hotel for sleep. A high speed wifi which is available at every room makes your stay more comfortable.

this hotel is very near to bts (skytrain stasiun), this is very helpful for tourist to go to the places with cheap transportation. although it is not located in the centre of the city, but you can go to attrative places for tourist with skytrain and take mrt if necessary to the place you want to go.
this hotel is also located in the sukhumvit road which you may not get any trouble to find taxi meter in front of the hotel.
the room is also clean, the hotel staffs are also friendly and ready to help.
having plan to go to bangkok, strongly advise to consider this hotel as your option.
Shopping Tip:
Bangkok is one of the best places for shopping. Siam area is one of the famous places for this.
From the branded goods until latest goods with attractive price can be found in this area.
This venue can be accessed by taking Skytrain which is very near to Hope Land hotel and will only take 15 minutes to go to this place by using the Skytrain.

Good breakfast, clean and well equipped rooms. The only downside was that the room was next to a really busy highway, with really noisy traffic. If you stay here, ask for a room facing the courtyard.

i had a relaxing time at the hotel. it was very clean and well-kept. the finnish sauna was wonderful and near to the pool so you can go back and forth frequently. i was very happy with the washrooms - the tub and shower were very nice and had excellent water pressure. the wifi worked well - no complaints there. it is very close to the bts so it is very easy to get around, which is important because the area itself is a little dull.
