Stay in the Sukhumvit area 2x per year, Bangkok stop-over to and fro journeys Australia-Germany (work).
Over the years, have stayed in several hotels around the area, and Solo is my favourite. Best mix of size (small enough to offer personalised service), value for money- not the cheapest, but you get all the features of more expensive places, and right distance from everything- you don't step out the door into the midst of hussle and bussle, but it's not far away if you want it. Great friendly (happy?) staff, good breakfast, quiet and groovy modern atmosphere.
Love it here.
