The location of the hotel is near the Silom center with good neighborhood and near city center with convenience. The service is good, however, the room is small. The internet is free which is a plus. Bathroom is clean but shower curtain seems not suitable since it will cause water leakage. The rooftop dining restaurant is clean and quiet but decoration seems not so good.

Good location for sightseeing of Bangkok, room is clean, service is good. Concierge is polite.

The room was tiny. For 2 people it is really cramped in the Superior Room! In the photos the room looks big - but thats only probably the suite. And the shutters don't completely block out the sun so it's constantly bright -bad for a daytime nap. The breakfast was nothing great. If you don't plan to stay a lot in the hotel, then it's nice, clean, new and affordable. My conclusion is there are cheaper but better alternatives for the same price range. The new hotel right across (The Heritage Bangkok) looks more promising -bigger rooms and great price.

15 steps to the Chong Nonsi MRT and eateries/convenience stores right beside it. The room is very clean and with a nice TV, free use of DVD player and WIFI.

Location is very convenient, 3 mins walk to Chong Nonsi BTS station; Mcdonald and 7-11 just round the corner. Bathroom is a bit small, but still fully equipped with safe-box, LCD TV, fridge, etc. Receptionist and staff are quite young. Limited choice for breakfast. Overall the hotel is an acceptable hotel at its price.

We have been living in I-Residence for 4 days. During 4 days of accommodation, we enjoyed very much of the free mini bar. It gave us much pleasure. However, we hope the water supplier of the hotel will be improved later. Sometimes the water supplier was too old and suddenly it was too hot. Actually, it's a good place to stay in cos it's very near to Chong Nosi BTS station. We only need to tell the taxi driver to go to Chong Nosi BTS station even we communicated in differ languages.

My 2nd time in i-residence Guest Rating: 4.2

I was issued a room in the old wing again(but this hotel is only less than 2 years old). The new wing wing is ready, with a link attached to the old. Saw the new small infinity pool on the roof top level 9... great view. I saw the rooms in the new wing, much bigger too. Would really love to stay in the new wing the next time.

Very Clean, friendly staff, great location as usual...bangkok traffic is bad, so by staying next to the BTS train station(Chong Nonsi) is fantastic.

Toilet still small, hope the new wing has bigger toilets. The coffee served during breakfast needs alot of improvement.... suggest: Black Canyon..

This is the second time I come back to the i-Resident due to it's reasonable price and convenient location. Staff was helpful to supply me with DVD and a free room upgrade. I'll definitely come back to the i-Resident next time I come visit beautiful Bangkok. Thank you, Agoda.

Very close to Silom area with MRT right on the doorfront. Room is small but sufficient, clean, and best of all, includes free drinks in the room.

Hotel lobby is too small and difficult for taxi to drive in.

the attitude of the staff at the reception is not that friendly and helpful. We arrived at i-residence at around 11am. We were told the room we had booked was being cleaned up and it would be ready at noon. However, when we got back at 1pm, they hadn't started cleaning up and had we wait another half an hour. And, the shower is bad. Water temperature varied from cool to hot and vice versa. It definitely can't provide a refreshing shower after a hectic and sweaty day in Bangkok. However, if your budget limited, i-residence is ok provided that you are not looking for a hotel where you will spend a whole day.

Its breakfast is great. Though not as much as big hotels, they are delicious.

• Travel tip : I-residence is located in a commercial area with not many restaurants or night markets around. So do buy something to eat at night. However, if you are a big fan of McDonald's, there is a 24-hour one close to I-residence.

Comfortable pillows Guest Rating: 4.5

We are in Bangkok for our small business this time, we are very impressed by the comfortable pillows and mattresses. We are very picky about this for we treasure the time of sleeping. We both wanted to buy one and bring it home, however, our luggage had already been overloaded. Hopefully next time will go and buy one.

friendly and very helpful staff but best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to chongnonsi sky train station,on the silom line (which is about 50 meters walk away).we never waited longer than 5 minutes for train and only 20 thb to siam station where u can access the sukumvhit line to nana or plenty of shopping malls at siam.eat here as not much within walking distance of hotel
