-The water temperature wasn't stable The hotel location just right in front of the sky train station (Chongnonsri Station), so it was very convenient to travel around Bangkok.You also could find the covenient stores like 7-11, Boot or McDonald and some local food halker just around the corner.The room was huge and clean we got upgraded to deluxe room (originally we book just standard room) .They provided the good amenties like big LCD TV and DVD player can be upon request.The only problem was the water tmeperature wasn't stable sometimes it was quite cold and hard to turn it back to be warm water.The Thai restaurant just right beside the hotel entrance was good too they serve thai food with the reasonable price.The internet wireles was free which is good for us cuz we didn't have to look for internet cafe.The staff was very helpful.Over all comparing with other hotels in Bangkok I think this hip hotel has done the good job.I would stay here again next time.
Restaurant Tip : The Shangrila Kitchen Restaurant it's just turn right from I-Residence and 5 mins walk.They serve dimsum and chinese menu.It was good choice and also good price.

convenient location, chic design, and hospitable service. Room carpet and chair are dirty. Hotel fee is reasonable. Its location is convenient. Its service people have good attitude. Overall, the hotel looks clean and stylish. The hotel room is comfortable but the carpet and chair are dirty. The hotel's breakfast is not very impressive but is acceptable. The hotel is not far from Panpong night market but there are not interesting things to see in the neighborhood.
Shopping Tip : I think the hotel's location is best for going to shopping centers (ex. MBK and Siam Paragon) and night markets.

New hotel, good location and nice staff Bathroom is tiny, noisy as construction outside, gym not functioning well I stayed here the 3rd time within this year alone but a bit disapointed this time since I gave me first a room with 2 small bed while we require a 1 big bed (later they changed it. Good!) however both rooms with very tiny bathroom and weird design so that made me feel uncomfortable when using it. The 2nd room so noisy because of the next apartment under construction and the blind so bad that I must woke up at early morning due to the sunlight. The gym is so bad equipped and managed so I could not use it. I was disapointed with this hotel this time. Maybe I will consider a new hotel for my next trip to BKK in October and December.
Restaurant Tip : The food served in the restaurant on 5th floor not good and over priced (compares to same restaurant outside) In the basement of the hotel, there is a small poridge eating house which is quite good you should try.

Good location, near the MRT and night market, food next dooor. Staff is willing to help you Smell from bath room when you are not using. It's a hard to find your room. They gave me the tooth brush in the first day only. I stayed in this hotel 4days/3nites. It's new hotel, clean, good location,you can wark 2 minutes to find the MRT, 7 Eleven, food ...everything. 10 minutes to PattPoong (red ligth) and nigth market or you can take a wark around 15 minutes to the big nigth market at Lumpini. 15 mins to BKK River... I'll stay there again if i have a chance to be back BKK

Beautiful room, good service, warm and welcoming staffs. We stayed in the grand deluxe room 1 and the room was beautiful - exactly the same as what we saw online. The location was great too as there was a BTS right in front of the hotel.
Very convenient too as there was 7-11, Boots and lots of other eateries cluttered around the hotel area.
The staffs were very warm and welcoming and a big thumbs up to their service. They go all out to make sure you are satisfied.
All was good except for the view from the rooms.
All we could see was the building beside us despite the pretty window seat we had in our room.
They could do better with their breakfast too. Variety was quite limited and food didn't look too appealing.

Great location,very comfortable room,breakfast buffet in the rooftop restaurant was a pleasant way to start the day! We have been to Bangkok several times and this has been the best place we have stayed! The hotel provides easy access to the Sky train and from there you can go anywhere you need to in Bangkok. There are several restaurants nearby and it is walking distance to a night market.
The room was outstanding!Clean, comfortable and quiet, we had an excellent night's sleep. The wifi access was a plus, as were the reading lights on each side of the bed. No extra charge for the in-room safe was a plus too!
The rooftop pool stays open late and was a great place to chat with fellow travelers at the end of the day while enjoying a cool down dip to escape the Bangkok heat and enjoy the lights of Bangkok.
The open air rooftop restaurant was a great place to start the day, as a cool breeze passes through. The breakfast buffet is extensive and one of the best we have ever encountered. All the food was fresh and attractively presented.
In short, the only thing we didn't like about the IResidence is that we only could stay two nights! It is our first choice place to stay should we return to Bangkok!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A new sight in Bangkok is the Arts Cultural Center at the National Stadium stop, directly across from Siam Discovery. We planned to make it a quick stop and left two and half hours later! The architecture of the building itself is worth seeing, as well as the two story pink elephant in the atrium, and the exhibit about Thai masks.

Location, excellent street food everywhere, sky train strange hotel layout, nothing to see out our hotel window, lots of construction noise (not a big deal)-tour operator at the bottom of the elavator is relentless This was a good hotel for the money. The rooms were small but clean. The location can't be beat. Very cental Bangkok. The hotel is a bit of a maze, but that's no problem. They arranged a taxi to the airport at a resonable rate, though the taxi driver almost killed us with his driving(what's new?). We ate great street food right out the front door.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the sky bar in the Banyan Tree Hotel. It is expensive, but the view is a must see in Bangkok. Go there!

Proximity to BTS skytrain, the rooftop horizon pool & restaurant with view over city. Contemporary room renovation. Accessibility to reception area was confusing, having to take lift to 5th floor and then change to another or walk the stairs. The hotel is built over 2 towers - rooms in one and reception/admin/restaurant in another. I got lost a few times. Good value for money, with great proximity to public transport (BTS skytrain). A different place to stay than usual for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found getting around Bangkok very easy using train and ferry, spent very little on taxis and no traffic hassles! The room was very attractively done, but the bathroom tiny! I think this hotel is modelled on Ibis room size and facilities. Did not like the bathroom at all!
Restaurant Tip : Found the best seafood restaurant just around the corner, down an alleyway. Tried dishes I'd never tried before, thought I'd exhausted Thai cuisine, until now.

Close to the Skytrain, very modern Some of the rooms have no view, construction taking place next door. This hotel has a very modern feel to it. The first two rooms I was shown had no view (looked straight into a wall) and there was a lot of noise from a construction site. Thankfully the wonderful staff gave me an upgrade and the new room was wonderful. This hotel is located at the steps of the Skytrain which is very useful. It is also very close to shopping areas. There is a small pool at the top.
Travel tip : There are some nice restaurants around the hotel.

Location, swimming pool, value, service iResidence hotel in Bankok, Silom area is a great hotel for the value. The rooms are an adequate size, but the main advantages are the outstanding infinity pool on the rooftop and its central location across the street from the Chong Nonsi BTS. It made travelling anywhere in Bangkok via BTS extremely easy.

Love the roof top pool and the view . The look of the hotel is very modern and crisp yet comfortable. Exceptionally well trained and curteous staff. Nothing in particular. To get to the 7th floor you need to change the lifts , for a first time visitor this can get a little confusing as I did loose my way, had to get to the lobby twice and ask a staff to help me. The hotel can put up directinal signages for take care of this , till they get a direct lift to the desired floors. The hotel is a pleasant surprice and great value for money. The rooms are very thoughtfully planned and very comfortable. The bed , televisin and the channels available leave nothing more to be desired. There is a provision for high speed intranet that could run a little faster but as it is provided free of cost to the guests , this would not be a concern area. In addition to all the other good things that the hotel has , like decor, style , pool and gymnasium another important advantage is the prximity to the Sky Train. As you step put there is a variety of eating options like Mcdonalds and other bakeries. There is a 7/11 convenience store just below the hotel. And you can also walk around the block to reachthe night markets of Patpong. In a place like Bangkok , that has heavy traffic, the best way to commute is by the Skytrain, the I residence , lets you hop, skip and jump to the train platform and you can cover the entire city.
There is also a great view of the city from the roof of the building and you can enjoy a swim or meal as you take a god like stance , looking at life below from above. A great place to stay if you visit Bangkok, and highly recommended.
Hotel Feature Tip : Proximity to Sky Train and eating places. Patpong just around the corner ,Royal Bangkok Sports Club a very small distance from the hotel for those inclined towards Golf or other sports.

I-Residence a modern Budget Hotel within walking distance of Central business and entertainments areas of Silom, Modern light rail Transport at your door, Hospiatls, Shopping and a number of Major Foreign Embassies also within walking reach. The Hotel has a young friendly staff, The Breakfast has a sufficient variety of foods to cater for all tastes. The hotel also has a number of small restaurants within the hotel and connecting premises. For the fast food junkie Mcdonalds is next door.With a roof top swimming pool, small Gym and free internet access, all needs are catered for a relaxed stay at I-Residence. The carpet in the rooms just need a little spring clean, Found This Hotel by accident, But gave it a go and this is my second stay, came back because it was location, location for me, Transport by Taxi or better still by light modern Rail is at the front of the hotel to major shopping, Business and entertainment areas. The hotel is modern and comfortable. Cable TV and Free internet access is provided. The bathroom is small, especially the shower area, so larger folk no dancing under the shower. But then again the king size bed and large LCD TV makes up for any loss in the shower. Breakfast open air prepares you for the weather conditions in Bangkok that day. RECOMMENDED. i'll be staying there again.
Restaurant Tip : Next door to I-Residence is the Heritage Hotel has a great all you eat Lunch noon to 2pm less than $10. selection of Thai and Japanese food.

Nice and modern deco...super easy access...
Prepaid taxi fair to the airport without using meter and you do not have to pay the toll. 500 Baht will be all you pay. Water heater is too hot. When you lower it down..it becomes too cold.. As you get off the taxi or BTS, the sight of the nice modernish boutique hotel is excellant. The lobby is also nicely decorated with a white theme and at night, the neon lights make it so much more beautiful. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable.

nice room, clean bathroom, good location right in front of bts station. complicated lobby and room arrangement : the lobby is at 6th fl and I should cross through 5th floor to get to the next building which my room located. I stayed for 2 nights and it was a pleasant stay. The room is comfortable, spacious, and trendy with big plasma tv. bathroom is clean. location of the hotel is very strategic, right in front of bts station, but the hotel lobby is at 6th floor, and there is 2 buildings which connected at 5th floor. quite confusing for the 1st time we arrived.
