The newly renovated wing, the friendly service
As this is my first time staying at I-Grand, the service was friendly. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Bangkok and this was definitely one of the best. considering how luxurious and beautiful and large the room are. I also love the fact that there's a 7-11 within minutes of the hotel. Its closeness to the Chong Nonsi Skytrain makes travelling a whole lot faster and easier considering the major traffic jams in Bangkok. Definitely worth staying.

- internet conection at room i-Residence is a very good place to stay in Bangkok, it's located just in front of Chong Nonsi BTS,from there you can easily travel all over Bkk.
Swimming pool, gym and breakfast are on top roof.
7-eleven shop on the corner of the street, nice Thai seafood restaurant in next soi.
I will surely come back here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : for going to Grand Palace: Take BTS to Saphan Taksin (2 stations), there, take river boat expres to Pier 9 (Tha Chan). from there 100m walking and you are at Grand Palace for very cheap travel price.

well located (close to lumbhini night market, siam road shopping area), excellent room size for junior suite. we had 3 people and they fit an extra bed into the kitchen area, which was perfect and there was still enough room to move around. next to skytrain! balcony is pretty useless as the aircon covers most of the view. so we didnt use it.
bathroom was too small for junior suite and you could slightly smell the "toilet smells" coming from the pipes.
water pressure needed to be constantly corrected overall i rate this place a good B++ as the room size was excellent, location was good, service was good and the cons were definitely overweighed by pros
Shopping Tip : definitely recommend the lumpini night market and dont pay more than 60 baht as its real close (one could even walk there).

Nice & clean room. Big flatscreen TV. Very convenient to travel by skytrain (BTS). Can't adjust the water temperature when showering. It's either very hot or cold. Nice & clean room. There is cleaning service everyday. Very close to Chong Nonsi BTS station so it is very convenient to go shopping at Siam, MBK, Victory monument and other places. There's internet room which is free of charge. There's not much space in the carpark. There's a lot of traffic in that area anyway so the best way to travel is to go by skytrain (BTS).
Travel tip : The drinking water outside the fridge is free but the drinking water from the fridge is NOT.

The lobby and restaurant are so cozy. Feeling so fresh while checking in. The room is so comfy and spacey. Located at the heart of Bangkok, just across the train station which can take us just a few minutes to shopping malls and the river. Wifi to access internet from the room will make it better. (free internet in separate room is available) I-residence is really a place to stay in the heart of Bangkok city. Located just short walk to several embassies and business areas makes staying there easier. Looking out from the windows in early morning gives a sense of busy morning in Bangkok with the smells of any kinds of fritters, take away foods and fresh fruits. Going out is as easy as to take a breath. With train station across the hotel, going around the city with public transport has no hassle at all. Really recommended...

Breakfast, amenities, gym, pool, location, bed The hotel has great amenities for the price...the breakfast is really good and the location is fantastic, especially if you don't have a car as it is right next to the metro station. The staff worked really hard to please us including changing our room when we complained of a funky smell. Everything is relatively new and modern...I would definitely say the funky smell was my only complaint. It appears the plumbing hasn't been done properly and most of the rooms smell bad.
Restaurant Tip : There is a fantastic little restaurant by the McDonald's in the office building next door called something like, "Little home restaurant and bakery." Eat there.

One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in during our travels. Modern, very clean, and plenty of space. Unfortunate to have room inwhich shower mixer didn't work.
No views but, hey, this is Bangkok. From the minute we meet the very friendly staff, this was a most enjoyable stay. As well as the immaculate room, there was a very nice rooftop swimming pool, modern gym and free access to the internet. Perfect situation, especially with the Chong Nonsi Skytrain station 20 metres across the road.Staff very helpful and attentive.
Will certainly be going back.
Shopping Tip : 10 minutes to Silom and Patpong shopping market

This hotel is very convenient as I tell the taxi driver to go to Chong Nonsi BTS station, the hotel is just opposite the station.
Also, the style of the hotel is so cool that you will think the rent is very competitive. The staff are young but really helpful and polite.
I would recommend this hotel to young travellers who like to plan their own plan of the journey ! As others said, the bathing equippment of the hotel need to be upgraded. The hot water supply is sometime very hot but sometime no hot water. It is quite annoying when you are bathing.
However, I went to a spa center where the bathing equippment have the same problem. I wonder is it the bathing system of many hotels have the similar problems.... This hotel is excellent for the related rent in the Chong Nonsi district as there is a very convenient place for tourists to go to pier to travel to the Grand Palace and other sight-seeing places.
If my friends go to Bangkok, I would definitely recommmend this hotel to them.

The advantages are good location, close to the sky train station. It's clean and hygienic and well equipped with different facilities. The water supply inside bathroom is quite slow. They clean the room only late in the afternoon (at about 3 PM). The good points are free access to 4 computers in the hotel. It's very convenient to travel to the hot tourist spots. The staff are polite and helpful. The room's quite clean and comfortable. It's also good to use the gym and the swimming pool. There are many channels available to choose in the TV. There are many good dining places nearby.

Great location beside Chong Nonsi Skytrain station, 1 stop from Pat Pong night market Clean, efficient and bright. Great staff who are very helpful and not the normal money hungry Some low beams that may catch the unwarey if taler than 1.95m WELL RECOMENDED for the short or long stay, especially the more expensive rooms which are very large with showers and bath. Room service is great and maid service is very competent. New front office very good but at the rear of hotel and not well sign posted

great situated, next to BTS station, heart of bangkok, I liked the room service, fast check in, great pool and restaurant view breakfast could be better, lobby located on 5th floor really badly organised, tourist information employees downstairs almost don't understand any english. I arrived at the hotel, and was nice welcomed by the door man downstairs and took to the 5th floor reception desk, which was kind of weird, anyway, when we get there, one man took care of my luggage, and nice woman went through check in, which took just few minutes. Finally, they let us in the room, which was nice, but really small. The bathroom had a problem with water outflow, and sometimes after shower all of it was water full. Bed pretty big, but no more space for anything, if you want to get to the bed from the side, it is uncomfortable. And the most annoying thing that happened during my stay was the construction site behind the window. Guys just didn't stop working, I could hear engines from 5am until well after midnight!! If you just expeact to get to Bangkok and be in the middle of it, it is great place, but if you expect nice and quite stay in relaxing atmosphere, chose another place.
Nightlife Tip : very close to Patpong where you can find real Bangkok by nite.

(1) Great location, right at the Chong-Nontri BTS station (2) Modern style room & bathroom (3) Free internet access Direction to the room is a little confused at first but once you know how and which elevator to take, there is no problem. This is one of my best hotel stay!!! Better than I thought after reading other reviews. The location is great since you can take BTS to anywhere. I stayed here for my business trip and had a meeting in Vibhavadi-Rungsit Rd. It took me just ~35 min from the hotel to my meeting place. Connection to Suvannabhumi Airport is not bad either since you can take BTS to Victory Monument and take bus no. 551, which is the airport bus, straight to the airport. The trip took a little over 1 hour. I was lucky to have room upgraded since the room type I booked was unavailable. The room was modern style, of which I like. The best of all was the cleanliness. Bathroom was good also. Bed was comfortable. Big screen LCD TV was a plus. The free internet was through LAN cable provided in the room. The connection was sometime unstable but it was acceptable.
What can I say apart from 2 thumbs up for this hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Another thing I like is that the hotel is close (walking distance) to the night life of Pat-pong. Not that I am a fan of such night life but it is a plus if you really need something you cannot find in 7-11 convenience store or McDonald, both of which are next door to the hotel. I had a bad stomach ache on my 2nd night and got some medicine from pharmacy in Boots (also next door). However, the symptom was not ease up after 9 p.m. I need another medication but Boots has closed. I finally got the medicine I need in Pat-pong. You know ... shops are open until late (or should I say dawn?). Mind you, if you do not have doctor to consult about medication like I do, there are hospitals nearby the hotel also.
