great situated, next to BTS station, heart of bangkok, I liked the room service, fast check in, great pool and restaurant view breakfast could be better, lobby located on 5th floor really badly organised, tourist information employees downstairs almost don't understand any english. I arrived at the hotel, and was nice welcomed by the door man downstairs and took to the 5th floor reception desk, which was kind of weird, anyway, when we get there, one man took care of my luggage, and nice woman went through check in, which took just few minutes. Finally, they let us in the room, which was nice, but really small. The bathroom had a problem with water outflow, and sometimes after shower all of it was water full. Bed pretty big, but no more space for anything, if you want to get to the bed from the side, it is uncomfortable. And the most annoying thing that happened during my stay was the construction site behind the window. Guys just didn't stop working, I could hear engines from 5am until well after midnight!! If you just expeact to get to Bangkok and be in the middle of it, it is great place, but if you expect nice and quite stay in relaxing atmosphere, chose another place.
Nightlife Tip : very close to Patpong where you can find real Bangkok by nite.

(1) Great location, right at the Chong-Nontri BTS station (2) Modern style room & bathroom (3) Free internet access Direction to the room is a little confused at first but once you know how and which elevator to take, there is no problem. This is one of my best hotel stay!!! Better than I thought after reading other reviews. The location is great since you can take BTS to anywhere. I stayed here for my business trip and had a meeting in Vibhavadi-Rungsit Rd. It took me just ~35 min from the hotel to my meeting place. Connection to Suvannabhumi Airport is not bad either since you can take BTS to Victory Monument and take bus no. 551, which is the airport bus, straight to the airport. The trip took a little over 1 hour. I was lucky to have room upgraded since the room type I booked was unavailable. The room was modern style, of which I like. The best of all was the cleanliness. Bathroom was good also. Bed was comfortable. Big screen LCD TV was a plus. The free internet was through LAN cable provided in the room. The connection was sometime unstable but it was acceptable.
What can I say apart from 2 thumbs up for this hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Another thing I like is that the hotel is close (walking distance) to the night life of Pat-pong. Not that I am a fan of such night life but it is a plus if you really need something you cannot find in 7-11 convenience store or McDonald, both of which are next door to the hotel. I had a bad stomach ache on my 2nd night and got some medicine from pharmacy in Boots (also next door). However, the symptom was not ease up after 9 p.m. I need another medication but Boots has closed. I finally got the medicine I need in Pat-pong. You know ... shops are open until late (or should I say dawn?). Mind you, if you do not have doctor to consult about medication like I do, there are hospitals nearby the hotel also.

Stone-throw from Chong Nonsi BTS (which is one station away from Sala Daeng Stn to visit Patpong & 3 stations away from Siam Stn at Siam Paragon). Next to the hotel is Boots Pharmacy for last minute toiletry shopping, Mac Donald for quick meal and 7-11 Convenience Store for quick bites and drinks. The hotel also has its own cafes serving Thai, Japanese and Chinese food. Free internet access is available at Internet Room and from room. If u dare to try the hawker food, there are roadside stalls set up during day time along the pathway oustide the hotel entrance as well as a eatery serving cheap hawker-style food. Front Desk located at Level 6 which is not directly connected to the rooms as the hotel is formed by joining 2 buildings. Internet room has limited pc available (only 4 work stations). Very basic room amendities and maintenance of the room have to be improved - airconditioning in the room is noisy, water heater in the shower is not working well (hot water supply is on and off coming from an instance heater) This is the first time that me and my travelling buddy tried out such a small scale hotel. We used to stay in bigger hotel chains and this round, we decided to give I-Residence a shot. Upon arrival, we have to wait for our room even though we indicated that we would like to have early check-in. Check-in time was 2pm but we have to wait till 3.30pm to have our room. The staff explained that they need to turn over the rooms and we have to wait (and that was 12noon when we arrived). We gladly accepted the offer of the staff to leave our baggage at the front desk and went exploring around the hotel area. When we were back, we checked into our room and found the room to be relatively small (unlike the big size hotel room that we used to enjoy). Amendities in the room was very basic and strangely, there was no full length mirror in the room. Air-condition was noisy and water was dripping at the corner of the aircon, water heater in the room was also working intermittently. We then requested the hotel to change our room but as they were fully occupied, we were promised to have our room changed the next day. Next morning was an early morning for us as we were woke up by the construction piling work right outside our room window. That give us a strong reason to request for change. The staff was very patience and managed to change us to another room. We have another two friends staying in the a higer grade room and their room is double the size of the deluxe room and more value-for-money. The breakfast was good as there were various spread available. Staff were also helpful. All in all, a good and basic hotel to put up as its conveniently located next to the BTS station which faciliated our travelling. Walking to Patpong is about 15 minutes stroll which is a nice walk as well.
Nightlife Tip : 15 minutes stroll to Patpong for late night shopping, drinks and massages

staffs are abit slow and not as helpful. Overall the stay in the hotel was satisfied.
The location which next to BTS would be the most attractive advantage of staying in the hotel.
The room is clean, comfortable, with simple and modern design. Bathroom is spacious, without bathtub, but its fine cos we don't use it. We only received 1 set of toiletry and need to request for another set.
The staffs are friendly, but lack of helpfulness and initiative.
We experience the safe box faulty, but the staffs only arrive to repair after our 20mins wait, follow by 2nd call to the reception. They took almost 45mins (including waiting time) to repair the safe box, which has wasted our sightseeing time.
We went to the reception to enquire about movie showtime in bkk cinema (cos the last day we want less walking... too much shopping over weekend) The staffs at reception did not offer to search on the internet when we ask about the name and location of the cinema. We just have to try our luck to go straight down to the cinema.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if you like massage, you may drop by the Heath Land Spa & Massage, which is about 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. www.healthlandspa.com. they provide professional and satisfied massage and treatment.

- flush systems not good - sinks and toilets bowls often choked up
- Bedrooms not very clean (deluxe rooms): stains on sheets, floor and sticky tables on first day, before using
- No wireless in the rooms, only by lan cable (can't access 3G mobile phones) The rooms are far away from the main lobby, connected by a link way with 3 different lifts. The maze structure is confusing.
Daily essentials pack is not replaced everyday.Tissue is not provided too. Customers need to purchase own supplies. For most (budget) hotels that I've visited, the essentials items like shampoo, cotton buds are renewed after the staff make up the room. Staff is not very attentive.
Generally, staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable about places; Not service oriented - will not go extra mile to assist you.

Great location, building design and room decor. The corridors and lift had no a/c. We really enjoyed our stay at i-Residence, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite and loved the spacious design and tasteful decor. Staff were friendly and the location was great. The rooftop pool and fitness facilities were also great and we would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Book one of the suites, they're really spacious and are good value for money.

very close to the BTS chong nonsi. nice swimming pool. clean rooms the rooms are not ready before 2 pm. the carpet in the room must have had better days. the rooms are not well insulated. I-residence hotel was a nice choice for us because we wanted to have access to the city center of Bangkok. Being in front of the BTS station really helped and we never spent more than a 100 bahts for any taxi ride around town. The included breakfast-buffet was nice, lots of choice. They offer 4 computers; Internet is free and fast. The swimming pool was a bit cold but so nice after a long day shopping! The rooms were cleans (the carpet could be changed...) but we had to wait until 2:00 pm to get it. The walls are not very well insulated so if you get noisy neighbors it might be annoying.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if you go around town, take a cab and always ask for the taxi meter... The rides are very cheap that way, you enjoy the air con and you won't get the pollution you would in a tuktuk. If not BTS is cheap too and really efficient.

location is excellent to access BTS (Chong Nonsi station). Clean room and very friendly staffs. The hotel location is excellent to access BTS (only 1 minutes to access Chong Nonsi station). It is closely to Siam and Chil-Lot area by BTS about 3 and 4 stations. Very Clean rooms and very friendly staffs. The hotel has urgrade my room to a suit room which are very good for our family. We will recommend this hotel to our friends
Hotel Feature Tip : From my experience, the hotel better to provide with shuttle bus to 1~2 stops on the popular shopping locations because most taxi are not countered by the meter, it is angry to bargain the prices with taxi driver everytime.

Clean and easy access to BTS The room is unwell from sound insulation that I can heard very clear people talking from another rooms. The hotel location is excellent to access BTS (only 1 minutes to access Chong Nonsi station). It is closely to Siam and Chil-Lot area by BTS about 3 and 4 stations. Very Clean rooms and very friendly staffs. I don't order the breakfast beacuse outside has many resturants to take the breakfast every day.

Last time, I have reserved 5 rooms in total for 4 days 3 nights, and we have been upgraded to deluxe room which is more bigger than Superior room. It was so great. The swimming pool is not so big but it is enough for us to relax there and also have gym room to keep fit in case you are eat so much in Bangkok.

Convenience to sky train and shopping. Room is comfortable and clean. It has swimming pool and exercise room. Shower and breakfast is not so good. I have stayed there for 2 times. - excellent location. its just beside the BTS Chong Nonsi, you cant miss it
- superb rooms (new, clean and very spacious)
- super comfy
- free internet, great decor, the whole ambient is cool, funky and very new
- and best of all, super ultra low price! most value for $ stay ive been been. Saw 3 rats scurrying around in the restaurant late at night. Booked i-Residence through Agoda at a 10-20% discount. But they upgraded me to a Deluxe room and it was the best stay Ive ever had in Bangkok (Ive stayed in Meridien, Sheraton etc), for the kind of price im paying. Its just beside the BTS Chong Nongsi, the staff is friendly, I have free internet access, and best of all, the building is new and the rooms are therefore, clean. Thumbs up for the value traveller.
Hotel Feature Tip : Check out the roof top pool and gym. Quite a nice view of the BTS :P

Access to BTS, Customer service, Rooms where great This is a hotel with a difference. Yes it is cheap but for someone who normally stays at 5 star hotels I was impressed with the level of service and convenience a hotel of this standard provided. I will certainly be back to stay again on my next trip. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Value for money very good. Excellent breakfast. Excellent, close to BTS and nighet buzz, warm staff and room cleaner, area quite, fresh air breakfast place (open air), price not higher, clean swim pool, I must come again. Recommend.
