loacation, price, staff

noisy (but then again, this is bangkok), airport taxi service is overpriced and the people running the service are not very friendly if you decide to take a street taxi

It was a real nice surprise that when i arrived at the hotel I was upgraded to a junior suite, even if I paid already a very competitive price to start with. staff was friendly and helpfull, the location is great but a bit noisy

Taxi driver usually go by Silom Soi 3, and lost their way

Overall, a great value for $$$ stay which i would definitely return upon next visit. Only 5 mins walking distance to Healthland SPA & Massage! 3 stations away to Siam area! GREAT!

Conveniently located near the BTS station. With 7-Eleven, McDonald's/McCafe, Boots and other cafes around the vicinity. Quiet area at night. Clean and comfortable room. Nice roof-top swimming pool and alfresco dining area. Reasonable rates.

Unfortunately my room is right next to and facing a construction site and the noise woke us up around 7am in the morning.

close to BTS on only 2 minute, many cheap restaurant good amenities

next to huge construction, very very and very noisy. front desk not friendly to care the customers although need help for urgent things.

The I-Residence is a good choice, value-wise and location-wise. Easy access to the BTS and the room was nice but rather small for standard room. However, it is next to a huge construction site. I don't know how they never stop to work and it was until 5am so the noise was very penetrating. I was there on a holiday and for some reason. Actualy I can't feel holiday in Hotel...... the construction is very very terrible.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Massage place at hotel opposite does fantastic foot massage at a reasonable cost

The pool is really cool because it's on the roof, and has alright view( of the skytrain), but it's only big enough to accomidate about 2 people comfortable (un;ess you just sit in it like a jucuzzi, which is what people used it like most of the time)

The staff were Thai, and the Thai people are the frieldliest in the world, but the service was crappy, the room very small, and the bathroom tiny. The maid service was terrible.

This place is run like a brothel. The restaurant is overpriced, and not good at all. We had breakfast, and we thought the sign said 100 baht, but when we got the bill it was 580 THB, which is terribly priced (when you compare it to elegant dinner & show for the same price. The i-residence looks good on the internet when you seee the pictures and look at the price, but it's sub par, and reccommend against staying there to everyone. I will not make the same mistake twice.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close Skytrain, and shoppingb galore

location, easy access from chog nonsi bts station to everywhere. helpful staff and very polite cleaning ladies from house keeping. comfy bed and pillows. the hotel uses good linens

shower tap is not good to mix hot and cold water, water pressure is weak at shower. construction site beside the hotel is working day and night

very good location in the heart of bangkok, there are lots of good restaurant nearby and coffee from the small shops or stores are better than starbuck. the hotel is right infront of bts station easy to get to siam paragon or other destination. i enjoyed and feel safe to stay in i-residence but the noise from the construction site will keep me away till they completed the project. one just cant rest in the room after 9am or earlier. site also work till midnight at times. do ensure you get a lower floor if you insist to stay at the i-residence cos sound do travel upwards

Nightlife Tip : is a good ten minutes walk to silom area where all the cafe and bars are full of beautiful people. there are many massage near by sala daeng bts which are reasonable priced

The people who work there were very friendly and accomodating.

Some of the rooms facing the building under construction were very noisey.

I would stay there again. The first room that I was given was very noisey and I went down to the desk after the first night and requested another room because the construction started at about 7am. They assigned a new room for me and which was a lot more quite. The hotel is situated right in front of the BTS which made it very easy to get to various locations quickly and the cost was very cheap. I didn't eat in their resturant so I couldn't say how it was.

Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure that you get a room not overlooking the building construction.

Close to the center and also close to the BTS sky train

the isolation between rooms, noise at the next room can be easily heard and also breakfast needs to be improved

I have stayed previously at this hotel, the best thing is the location; i found this time that they added new sections and improved a bit more on facilities but the major setbacks are the sound isolations between rooms also the hot water system in the shower, they need to be improved more

Nightlife Tip : close to Patpong also shopping areas

conveinience, good price, comfortable in room, good services

the Sound providing in the room was so poor.

Easy transportation, Staff are professional enough, nice with smell and helpful, room size is just good enough but the sound provding in the room was so poor, can even here people talking next door clearly. The swimming pool is bit small on the top floor, only 4 sun bed, always fully occupied. For this trip, I was so lucky help by the sales staff there for my luggage issue.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Healthland Spa and massage just cross the road, good price and good environment.

very convenient. Right in front of BTS Chong Nong Si. Easy to find food. There is a McD just next to the Hotel. Staffs are friendly.

When we checked in, we got a room that was next to a contruction site. It was very noisy and they work until 11pm! Our booking was made way early but we still get this type of room. The shower is not constant...either too hot or cold.

We check in the hotel on the 5th Nov for a 3 nite stay. We were early and the room was not ready. We requested for non-smoking room and we got it. But when we chk in much later, we got a room that was facing a construction site and the work didnt stop until 11.30pm and start again at 7.30am! It was quite annoying. We requested to change our room but was told there was no more non-smoking room. We only managed to change our room for the last nite. This hotel is very convenient and you can move around using the BTS. Food is easy to find and there are 2 7/11 shop along the road. Before we made the booking , we chk some of the reviews and most of the reviews said that the mini bar is free. It is NOT. Only complimentary bottles of water. I asked the staff and they said there were not aware of it.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you like massages, I suggest you go to a place call Healthland in Sathorn Road. The price is reasonable compared to the shops around town. But you need to make reservation. Go for the Thai massage.

Location to the BTS could not be better. walking distance to patpong area and great shoping and restaurants

Hotel had some problems. The shower head fell out the wall. carpet very dirty, AC didn't work

I won't stay here again. But I do like this area of Bangkok. I booked a King size bed, which I got, but the shower head fell out of the wall. was given another room with 2 twin beds. The AC didb't work but was repaired why I was there. The carpet look like a crime scene. Staff although friendly was not very helpful. (I called for a vacumn cleaner they said they did not have one.?)

Good location after you find it. Plenty of choices for eating in the near vicinity. Railway station at your front door. Friendly staff. Free internet

Walked past the hotel several times before I realised it was there.

Located directly outside the railway station. So easy access to rest of Bangkok. After dark you have a food market directly outside. Good choice of food and drinks. Reception is located in the car parking area. I though very strange. Walking distance to other markets and lots of restaurants in the area. Free internet was a nice surprise and located in an area of the hotel with lots of privacy.

new renovated hotel, new amenities, clean, walking distance to nearest mrt station

nothing

There was construction in progress next to the hotel and very noisy during night since they were working until early morning ard 3am. The room size is just nice and quite clean with some new amenities. The hotel provides free broadband in the room and internet room in the 5th level. The breakfast was nice with the good view from the top level of the hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. The location of the hotel is very near to the BTS station and walking distance to the convenience store 7eleven.

Great location - 3 minutes from BTS, some cheap restaurants, easy access from main road. Nice compact room, large TV, nice amenities.

Next to huge construction site. Very noisy. One elevator per tower and it was sometimes slow.

The I-Residence is a good choice, value-wise and location-wise. Easy access to the BTS and the room was nice, compact and furnishings were in good condition. However, it is next to a huge construction site. They start bang on at 8am with jackhammers so sleeping is not an option. I was on the 7th floor and literally construction was 20m down, so the noise was very penetrating. I was there on a holiday and for some reason, the workers decided to work until 4am (!), presumably so they could have the next day off. But construction at 4am, next to a hotel? Get real. If you're a heavy sleeper, you may not mind. But while construction is on, this property is not restful in any sense of the word.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : One BTS stop and one metro stop away from the Night Bazaar.
