Hotel design, location and mattress Nothing to complain about this hotel Beautiful modern design, swiming pool on top of the building, simple gym for keeping fit and unweight, right at the BTS Chong-nonsi station and just 15 min walk to silom road. The hotel also offer good restaurants but there is a very good cheap eating place around the corner where you can find foods for less than 50 Baht. This hotel is my second choice when my visit to Bangkok within this year. You would find it very good location and value money for a nice stay in BKK.
Restaurant Tip : Many places to eat around the hotel not want to repeat myself but public eating place is around the corner. There is several nice local restaurants in the Convent soi and phiphat soi.

nice location near Mrt in 5 mins and nice service. It's a nice location near Mrt in 5 mins and nice service.There are clean and comfortable in the rooms,and somthing was impression on me that some day my roomlock was out of work,they changed and upgrade me another bigger room immediately,I like their attitude about the customer complain,so it will my first choose hotel stay in Bangkok.

First of all, the location was perfect...access to skytrain just around the street and an easy walk to Silom.
The room was elegantly spare with a comfortable king size bed, cool bathroom, and all the amenities.
The breakfast each day was a feast. The service was excellent. I-Residence provides modern accomodations for a great value. My room was elegantly sleek, with a king size bed, large screen TV, computer hookup, and cool bathroom (with sexy shades into the room). The breakfast on the rooftop each morning was a feast - with a wide range of delicious Western and Asian offerings. The pool also is there with a lovely place for laying out and a small fitness area.
The staff was friendly, attentive, personal. I did not feel like just another tourist. They made me feel truly welcome.
The location could not have been better with easy access across the street to Chong Nonsi skytrain stop and an easy walk to Silom area.
I am so glad that I picked I-Residence for my introduction to Bangkok. I got more than my money's worth - a great deal!

Location is stone throw away from Sky Train Station, 1 stop from Sala Dang, 3 from Siam.
Room Clean, comfortabe and relax.

Excellent Pool! Standard rooms are too small, worth invest a few more dollars to upgrage to Delux.
Only give out 1 Key, so it can be inconvient.
Staffs' standard of English is not sufficient.
No DVD player. The first day I was lucky cause they over booked the Standard Room so they upgrade me to Deluxe. The room was Retro White and we are very happy. Unfortunatly the second day we condescend back to the peasants room. It was clean and smart design but too small. There is a construction site right next to our room so I suggest you to pick another Hotel until the works complete.
The area around the hotel may not have many shops or resturants but thats ok for me since there is a 7-11 and BTS station "Choeng Nonsi" so we can go almost anywhere. Heritage Hotel is right next to i-Residence and their The Massege Palour is great. Sadly, both hotels' bars and resturants close too early. So for night Owl you have to look else where for action.
Hotel Feature Tip : Dine in Heritage Hotel opposite, their food are excellent.

The positive about this hotel was the free internet use and the location. Better location is hard to find in Bangkok. Skytrain is located just outside and take you everywhere in less than 10 minute. Example 9 minute ride to get to Siam Square. The hotel was very strange. The staff kept aksing every day when we were going to check out, just as if they didn't want us to stay. The room cleaning was one of the worst I ever experienced. Change of towel was just about it and some days the whole day went on and the cleaning staff didn't come to clean the room until in the evening (!). The reception was under all critsism. They didn't inform anything, were breakfast was served, that they had a gym and free internet room, nothing. I had to find out everything for myself. I have never stayed in a hotel were I have to call to the reception and ask every little detail. This things they always inform the guest upon check in. And when we were checking in we had to wait 1 hour for the hotel to get the room ready for us, (and yes they were expecting us to come). The atmosphere were not good in this hotel ,no one was rude but the whole personal was very nonchalant and informative. A OK hotel for a short stay but nothing more than that. This hotel I only recommend cause of it´s great location in the heart of the city. Without the location I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The rooms was OK but should be much better with the price they charge. Insuffient space in the bathroom made every shower time unpleasant and TV had a low range of channels. The AC worked well and I didn't see any insects in the room but door key stoped work after 2 days and we had to change keys. I give this hotel 5 star out of 10. It's just OK for a short stay and mostly casue of the great location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure to really USE the skytrain located just outside the hotel. Cheap, fast and a great transport method that runs from 6 o'clock in the morning to midnight. Works wonderful.

Very very close to Sky Train. I like breakfast. It has enough variety. Room is decorated quite modern but not neat. I select budget hotel and close to business area. This place is very close to skytrain, and breakfast is good compared with other place. However price is slightly a bit high compared with other new modern budget hotel.

The water pressure is really low, it's hard to bath inside the room! Really Poor! I was check-in at about 4p.m. however, the staff ask us to wait for 30 minutes to arrange the room for us, so disappointed.
No restarant nearby the hotel, only 7-11 nearby, no food to eat after 1200.
One more thing, the hotel security is another concern, no one take care of the entrance control, every can get into the hotel via the shopping center,which make me think our property is not properly protected.
Hotel Feature Tip : No food to eat after mid-night, so suggest to buy food before get back to the Hotel.

great location next to BTS, nice rooftop pool, several eateries in and around the hotel difficult to get orientation in the hotel since there are 2-3 interconnected buildings and the lobby is in th 6th floor in one of those. After we found the reception we got a upgrade. the room was nice and big. There is internet in all rooms (cable). the interior is bright and cool. I like it and will be back.
Shopping Tip : check out murkh tailors at 258 silom road - they make the best shirts

It is located in front of BTS station, so, it is very convenient to move around at Bangkok. The room doesn't have good view and not so well maintained. The friendliness of staffs is so so. The room seems not well maintained and the carpet is dirty
(I prefer the flooring). The roof top coffee shop for breakfast is very warm and not so confortable. The room has limited view and there are two builings and from the building where my room was located desn't have direct access to the reception (I had to change the lift). Althogh it is good to have free internet, I will not stay again and I do think that I can find out better hotel with this price level and facility at Bangkok.
Restaurant Tip : There are some eating outlets near to the hotels including some in the same building in the hotel. there is 7-11 nearby.

perfect. good standard at a good price it was a great stay at IResidence hotel. The room was clean, spacious and more importantly, the price is great. I also like the fact that there is free internet service available in the room. The staff were also very friendly and courteous. The only con is that there is no cable tv. It would be a flawless stay if cable tv channels were provided.

Near to Chonnonsi MRT station. Convinience store is just 10 seconds from hotel. Near to MBK shopping centre. Clean room. Can borrow DVD player. Nice break fast every morning. Roof top pool. shower is so poor and bit dangerous. roof top pool is not clean. It was second time to stay this hotel with my gf. I like this hotel cos the place is near MRT station. and the price is not bad. But only 1 think I can't accept is shower. It's uncontrolable. Sometime hot like boiled water and sometimes cold like river water.... It's really dangerous. It was happend 1st time stay in this hotel. So I think they should change this shower system. If you stay this hotel, you should check shower is ok or not.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : just 1 station from saradeen and nice night spot.

- has gym and pool facilities - No bath tub for the delux room Except for the bath tub, everything is almost perfect for the price paid. It is convienently located near BTS station to commute to congested area like Silom or Siam. The hotel also has gym and pool facilities to enjoy for free. No comment on the breakfast because I chose the without breakfast package. There is always many other choices of food around the area.
