Good Location and easy access to everywhere
near bts, great food to eat, friendly staff

great hotel to stay, friendly hotel staff, always put a smiling face - signal of welcome. near bts chong nongsi and food stall nearby is cheapand great. 7/11 just beside and walking istance to silom and patpong
Nightlife Tip:
Visist the patpong areas and Silom - price are high , so do bargain for a better price

Service is not up to standard, Bad maintenance

This is our second time staying at I-Residence, but I don't think there will be the third time. There was once we tried to ring the reception, but they didn't bother to answer the phone for nearly 10 minites. The porter let us carried our own luggages to our room then gave us eye ball when we decided not necessary to pay him tips just to show us to the room at the second floor. The safe in the room is out of order, the tap in the bathroom fell off, the sheet had very big stain on it,
the bathroom had a very strang smell...
The only good thing about this hotel is its location, however, I believe it's very important to have a good mood when having a vacation, we don't need to go on a holiday and getting eye balls from the hotel.

It was ok to stay there

The room size is quit ok. Expectled the kitchen. One key card with 2 people stay. That would be difficult and have to leave the key every time and if u come home late then u have to ask someone to bring u to the room! Breakfast was not good. I got a long hair in my noodles soup!

Great Location, Spacious Room

it was a pleasant stay. the mrt station is just outside. there's 7 eleven directly outside too. good service with cab service call early in the morning. although the room i opt for can occupied 5 person (i booked 2 room), i was charged additional because one room can only occupied 2 person due to hotel rules. was a little bit dissapointed but oh well. everything else was nice. but the price is quite expensive compared to 5 star hotels.

good location & price but standard has declined

i had stayed in i-residence 3 years back thus revisit the hotel i enjoyed so much. however, this time round, i did not enjoy my stay as much as before.
reasons:
1) the air-con is loud and noisy
2) room make up is not done promptly until i have to call and remind them.
3) the hotel is not well maintained.
i will have to look around for other boutique hotels for my future trip to bkk.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This hotel is still worth staying if you are looking for a convenient location and reasonable pricing.

we just stay 1 night only, but the room small and the room not very vlean.
the mat very dirty. the toilet and the shower together, the water easily come out and wet, slippy.
the staff are nice and friendly. and the location very convenient and near bts station. easy to go shopping and downstairs have many restaurants.
i think the hotel suitable for couple or business travel. the hotel room small and the building very short.the air conditioner very close to bed, easy to get cold.

Great location and value for money

This is my 3rd time staying in this hotel. This time round, the hotel staff has upgraded me from grand deluxe to executive grand deluxe (non-smoking room). The hotel room for executive grand room look pretty decent with exception thar there is strong smoke smell in a non-smoking room. i do not really like the colour and design of the room as the room is mainly black in colour and it looks dark and gloomy. I have requested to change back to my normal grand deluxe room which is better as it is mostly white in colour.
Overall, i will continue to stay in this hotel for my future trip.

I would not recomend
best feature, swimming pool and large screen TV

In Feb 2012 i stay twice for a duration of 2 nights both times.
what i didnt like, the shower continually went hot and cold. With the internet i spent hours trying to get it to work with numerous trips to the front desk changing passwords and so on.
On one night we had room service where the steaks had obviously been precooked, and were tough as boot leather. As the meal was a dissgrace.
The above was enough for me to never want to stay there again.
Travel tip:
When looking at accomodation in BKK, the better names is for sure the way to go.
