Clean, nice, friendly and helpful staff, convinient. Poor sound proof - noise at corridor easily heard. Ibis Sathorn is a good choice for accomodation in Bangkok. Is a new, clean, nice, and the staffs are helpful and friendly. It is also near to the Suan Lum Night Market, 7-eleven, Lumphini Boxing Stadium and also access to the public train is good. Hotel even provide shuttle to train station upon request. I would be happy to come back and stay here again if i come to Bangkok. Taxis are also easily hailed at the hotel. Transportation to airport is also convinient either by transport arranged by hotel or self hailed taxi from outside which cost around 400 baht.
Shopping Tip : Suan Lum Night Market. Taxi are expensive after 12 midnight. Just take a short walk back.

Clean, good, friendly and helpful staff, convinient. Poor sound proof,noisy corridor easily heard from room. Ibis Sathorn Bangkok is a good and recommended hotel. It is new, clean, convinient and the staffs are friendly and helpful. They speak decent English which is delightful. The hotel is near to 7-eleven, banks, money changer and restaurants. Walking distance to Suan Lum Night Market as well. Easy access to the MRT and Sky train. Hotel even provide shuttle to train station upon request. Taxis and tuk tuk are easily hailed at the hotel. Taxi to airport can be arranged by the hotel or self hailed at around 400 baht only. overall, it is a good and satisfying stay at bangkok, and would recommend to family and friends.
Shopping Tip : Suan Lum night market opens everynight till midnight and has a range of nice clothes and home deco. Chatuchak market is during the weekend opens till evening.

1. Brand new so you really do get a really nice place to use as your base. 2. LCD TV so you get a really nice picture from new equiptment. WAY WAY WAY TOOOOO EXPENSIVE WiFi 100 baht for one hour when the most you would and I have ever paid when it is not free is 100 baht for a full 24 hours. Totally out of line for Thailand costs. No pool but that can be either downside or 'do not care' for some. For us we perfer a pool to hand out at in the later after noon. The place is about 1 year old so it is really nice to stay at. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side however with the small desk area etc is it plenty for a short stay. The staff are very helpful (as is at most of the hotels in Bangkok.
