Really liked this hotel
Good size rooms, service was friendly and efficient. Good location. Honest staff.

Enjoyed three nights at this hotel, which is situated a short walk away from the Emporium & Asoke sky trains giving speedy access to shopping and sight seeing.
The day after we left the hotel I realised that I had left valuables in the room safe. After a phone call,in which I was told that the valuables were safe, I returned to the hotel where the valuables were returned to me in a sealed pack.
Very professional and re-assuring. Many thanks to the staff
Restaurant Tip:
A short walk to Asoke where there are many restaurants to suit all tastes.

Stayed here for a workshop for three days. Overall the room was spacious with nice furniture. However, the bed was very small with aged linen. Shower was clearly very aged as well despite my being told that they had just renovated this wing. TV is very small with the least selection of channels I've seen yet in bangkok. I asked to be changed to a higher floor. Front desk staff said they would call back... Never called. Asked for a slightly late check out... front desk staff claimed to have no record of my request. Lunch buffet was good, but I would not stay here again given the better range of other places available for this price.

Great location, aging hotel
Most convenient location, you'll get what you need

You can't find a better location than the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel. Right behind the Queen's Park, next to the Emporium, near the BTS - you can get to most places quickly and painlessly.
However, if you're looking for stellar accommodations and new hotel facilities, go somewhere else - this place is nice, but is getting older. The dining facilities aren't so great either - not bad, but not worth the money.

one night
friendly staff, good food
6.7
I only stayed for one night, but I could check in at 6am and I was allowed to stay until 2pm, which is all in all 32 hours instead of 24.
The food was good, they even have their own backery with tasty food...

it was my first stay at this hotel and i found it has an excellent location and quick access to the skytrain, which was very useful for me. the room was enormous space but not very good maintained and some old furniture, i assume they will undergo refurbishment soon. staff was nice and helpful at all times, a lot of indian groups there.

Staycation Perfection
Buffet --variety and quality
8.7
We take 3-day vacations occasionally to hotels in Bangkok to get a different view of the city and to watch TV [we don't have TV where we live in Bangkok]. We have stayed here previously and truly enjoyed it.
This time we did NOT book a room with breakfast even though the Agoda record indicates we did. The breakfast is marvelous and appeared to be very popular with many guests we saw this time. We did host another couple for dinner the first night and it was lovely. The variety of food [lamb!] and the way in which it is served are wonderful.
When we checked in our room wasn't ready, but we were fine with that. Almost instantly, however, we were told it was ready. Turns out it had not been cleaned properly. There were items on the bedroom floor that should have been vacuumed up but were not. The TV remote was difficult to make work, and by the 2nd day, it just did not work.
The pools are wonderful, although this time, it rained so much we didn't take time to enjoy them.
The value of staying here [location, service and food] are well worth it. The hotel is next to the Queen's Park and it is lovely to walk or exercise there. It is also next to the Emporium and the Prom Pong BTS Station. The staff are helpful. We will definitely stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat the hotel buffet at least once!

Imperial Queen's Park Hotel
Good environment, ease accessibility, good service
8
I enjoyed my stay in the hotel with good environment and good services from the staff. It is also walking distance from the BTS.
Perhaps to improve the accessibility to the BTS (the shortest route between hotel and BTS is to go through the park, but the park is closed early).

Really lovely hotel and would recommend it. As soon as you step into the front door you feel special as this hotel is very big. the price is excellent and the location wasn't bad. The price if you are going to book a taxi from the hotel is far too expensive and you would save yourself a lot of money if you caught a local one outside the airport.
