I was very impressed in how the manager was very concerned for my mum and sent the driver with limosouine to pick her up. When she didn t arrive at the appropriate time all were concerned... I called and spoke with the manager and she told me my mum was ok now and would be taken care of.
Very impressed with the service.

The lobby of the hotel is one of the best features as well as the staff's friendliness. It would have been helpful if someone had also told us where the breakfast was located and maybe a small tour of the lobby. We rode up in the wrong elevator and couldn't use our room key to program the floor. We found out after returning to the check in desk and THEN they told us where the elevator was for our floor. The free drink that you get upon arrival is a small glass of fruit juice. The buffets were amazing - the dinner buffet was even better than the breakfast buffet. It included stations of foods from various nationalities, choose your own meat and have them cook it, and a fantastic dessert bar... and was delicious.It was wonderful to have the park behind the hotel, so as far as location goes that was a plus.... BUT the hotel was far from some of the sights at the center of Bangkok and the sky train is faster than fighting traffic in a taxi or tuk tuk. The room needed updating - their version of updating was to paint over the wallpaper with white paint. The TV was small and didn't offer many channels. The bathroom was basic and should have been more luxurious for this level of hotel. There was shampoo but no conditioner and the shower curtain was old. Also the marble in the bathroom was black and I felt like there may have been a cleaner feeling to the marble. There was also marble on the floor in the room which had a couple of tiles that were lose and chipped. Yes, marble is beautiful for an entryway but carpet would have felt more warm and updated. I want to feel pampered in a hotel and I didn't get the pampered feeling from the room.We did get that feeling from all of the wait staff including the transportation and luggage help at the front. We talked to the tour guide for some time about visiting some of the sights in town.
Restaurant Tip:
Cabbages and Condoms - great restaurant with fantastic outdoor atmosphere and some of the proceed s goes to aids prevention.

Nice, good location, avoid the mini bar!!!
Hotel is in exelent location near the train. Also there is a gate to the nearest nice park. Hotel is well suited. There is excelent sport room.

The hotel is well equiped, exelent geem room. Very expensive. Couldn't afford to eat on the hotel restaurants, it was very high expensive in regard to other hotels in the same level.
The real benefit of hotel is location, close to a nice park and to the uban train.

Value for money
The Hotel is obviously among the top of the range of the older more well established hotels in Bangkok. The access to the park was nice as was the proximity of Robisons

My first impression on arriving at the hotel was that I had come to the wrong place as it was so impressive. The reception desk clerk spoke the best English I have encountered anywhere in Thailand over the past 15 years.
On reaching my room on the 26th floor I was a little disappointed to be facing away from the park, but the view was pleasant all the same.
The upshot was that I would stay there again and recommend it to others.
Shopping Tip:
Robinsons, which is a major shopping chain in Bangkok is a short walk down Sukhumvit and I was able to do some Christmas shopping there with ease

My Girlfriend and i decided to have 4 nights in Bangkok on Sukumvit Road, On arriving at The Queens park Hotel, we were greeted by a pleasant gentlemen who took our cases to one side and pointed us to the reception, The reception is quite away from the main door, we checked in and was shown to our room, which was spacious, with mini bar but no Tea or Coffee making facilities, Our stay was enjoyable, The breakfasts were wholesome, would we go back, i Think so, The girlfriend enjoyed herself, and shes pretty hard to please,
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't get conned into taking a taxi from outside the Hotel, use the skytrain,

excellent location...good value
The location of the hotel is good. Easy access to nice spas, resturants and the park. The staff is friendly as well.

The hotel is situated close to the park, skytrain station, department store, resturants and good spas. The location is nice for the price we pay. The only problem is the furnitures in the room are bit older. It will be nice if the hotel gets some updates. We will consider to stay here again next time.
