large, clean rooms. big park right next to hotel. nice pools.. helpful staff good location.

expensive breakfast.

Getting into Bangkok for the first time and finally making it to our hotel was a long trip, but immediately after arriving at the Imperial we were able to relax. The park is a wonderful feature to have in Bangkok, right out the back door of the hotel. Great for a run, relaxing with lunch outside the the green spaces and especially if you have young children. The location is excellent as well with plenty of places to eat, bars, and massage places. The sky train is near. The Galleria mall is near if you like malls. Great grocery store is near as well. We booked online getting a great deal and the hotel itself was well worth the price. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in while in Bangkok. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding, helping with whatever we needed.

Restaurant Tip : Govinda is an all vegetarian homemade Italian restaurant with delicious food if you need a break from Thai food.

Convenient location and good price from Agoda. Good massage across the street.

We stop over in BKK for 1 night on 18 Dec before heading to LAX. The hotel is located in the heart of Sukhumvit, short walk to Skytrain station and Emporium Mall through the park. Also lots of Thai and foot massage places across the street. Room is clean and good size. We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Imperial Queens Park hotel and we got a good deal for the room from Agoda. Will stay again in Jan 2009.

Excellent location. Superb facilities.

Excellent location near to the Old Quarter and also close to tourist sites. Worth looking outside if you want to go on excursions as Hotel options whilst very good are expensive. Remember this is a top rate hotel and the prices are not cheap. The bar is outstanding with live entertainment at night.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Look outside for excursions as the Hotel options are expensive.

very central place , by walking you can find everything.

room are fading , old buildings and need renovation. the air con is too strong. Very cold everywhere

the staff is very sweet and available, the breakfast could be better. The quality of the food is medium level. Cold area need pullover.the hotel have 2 swimming. Each have shadow at least for half day.just one swimming pool has the air conditioning system of the hotel just beside the daychair and is very noisy. With that money you can find better accommodation. For the gym you have to pay 250baht (6Euro) per entry.Old gym with old equipment.Very cold also like a fridge.this is not mentioned in the Agoda web site.

Staff Performance, Hotel Cleanliness

Spa's Prices

The hotel is considered to be a 5 stars hotel, The staff performance was great. Room is so clean and comfortable. The only thing that i disliked is the prices for the Spa as it reaches for about 2000 THB for Massage !! Other than that, it was nice staying there and i might considered staying there again in the future.

It was worth the change of venue: 9-10 Dec 200 Guest Rating: 9

Very helpful & attentive staff, clean rooms, good room views, open roomy restaurants, very convenient location (Skyrail, Sukhumvit Rd)

Hotel Limousine prices could be cheaper. eg: Hotel to International Airport was initially baht 1,500 then was dropped to Baht 900, which I still feel was expensive.

Generally I have stayed at the same hotel in Bangkok when passing through for the past nine (9) years but decided on advice from Oman Air to try the Imperial Queens Gardens Hotel. I only stayed at the hotel for one night, but was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness, setting/location of the hotel and the very attentive hotel staff. The Imperial Queens Gardens room price was fair for the services and room quality. On my next trip to Bangkok, my wife and I will gladly stay at the Imperial Queens Gardens again. I would highly recommend the hotel to my friends.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Skyrail is only minutes away from the rear hotel entrance via the Queens Gardens Park giving easy access to the city. The Park is well lit with convenient footpaths and seating or a morning stroll.

Impressive lobby, friendly staff. Good quality hotel.

Mediocre breakfast, long way to walk to BTS. Crazy price for internet usage (350 THB for the fist hour...)

We liked the Hotel and the great lobby. The price is more or less okay. The hotel caters mostly to Japanese tourists. Breakfast is not as great and its difficult to find a seat. The restaurant is just too small.

Entrance to park - Convenirnt to Skytrain

Food was poor - Bugs in first room

Overall this hotel was acceptable but my first nite was uncomfortable due to mites in the bed - Room was changed next morning and new room had no other occupants - Hotel has entrance to Queens Park and you can cut thru ther park to get to Skytrain and well stocked grocery store - Staff at hotel was very accomodating and helpful - Food on buffet was sub standard.

Hotel Feature Tip : Adjacent to very nice park for jogging etc.

Staff always friendly, efficient. Food, in all restaurants, consistently good. Two pools - chase the sun all day.

Rooms themselves tend to reflect the age of the hotel but all facilities work.

The Imperial Queens Park hotel is a relaxing venue in the middle of a busy Bangkok area. With two pools and a very large park on the back doorstep, there are plenty of places to relax. It is surrounded by some very good restaurants and bars, but is also within walking distance of the Emporium (an up-market retail complex)and the Skytrain. Service and food consistently good but the rooms are a little old-fashioned and reflect their age.

Restaurant Tip : Raan Derm, about 50 metres from hotel on same side towards Sukhumvit, has excellent food and is incredibly cheap.

Location - very close to Sky Train\nImpressive lobby and restaurant/cafe area\nVery comfortable and extremely spacious rooms\nHigh quality service\nExtremely polite and helpful staff

Beds were a little hard

Our stay at the Imperial Queens Park was fantastic. The hotel is definitely 5 star and lives up to that expectation. The location is fantastic, being only a short walk across the park to the Sky Train. Makes getting around the city so easy, especially to the shopping areas around Siam Square. Staff were very polite and helpful. Food was fantastic. The breakfast spread had to be seen to be believed and everything was delicious. The dinner buffet was magnificent and was very good value for money. Although we didn't use the pools, they looked spectacular and very clean. All in all, a 5 star experience at a 4 star price. We'll certainly stay there again on our next trip to Bangkok.

Travel tip : The Sky Train is a short walk across the park, and takes you to all of the main shopping areas in just a few minutes.

Good location in the heart of Bangkok\nFantastic breakfast buffet\nGood price and service

Not a quiet location can get some noise at night.\nTV to small for large room difficult to watch from bed.\n

Spent four nights at the imperial queens park hotel on a business trip. Location is good lots of places to eat meals at, in and around the hotel. Woke up on a couple of nights due to fire works and some noise from the street although my room was on the 29th floor. General a nice place to stay at for a short visit.

Hotel Feature Tip : Breakfast buffet is great don't sleep in

I Liked being by the park and walking through the park to skytrain .

It felt too big and cavern like . Didn't have a comfortable feel . felt like a train station .

I felt like the hotel was ok and did the job . Nothing special except having the park right there . I didn't like that they charge 700 baht for 24 hrs internet . It was over the top and it put me off . The main pool was closed and was one of the draws for me . Iwouldn't stay there again unless the enticed me with a very low price or some promotion . Very average

Excellent buffet breakfast with extensive spread of asian, continental, american. Very chic lobby. Close to very good massage parlours.

Rooms look old and dated

Queen's has an excellent buffet breakfast so make sure u get a price including breakfast. The looby is very grand but the rooms in contrast look old and refurbished. Its not close to a sky station and the park on the opp from where there is a sortcut closes at 9pm. Very good massage parlour just outside the hotel

Big place, big rooms, the park next door is really neat, that free morning breakfast was rocking.

Maybe too secure?

We stayed here for our last night, changing it up from the admiral suites (across the street) to here. This place offers the hotel experience. It wasn't impossibly expensive but it felt like walking into luxury. I'd read before that the rooms need some upgrading, but I didn't mind them at all, some people are much more picky than I am. They were clean and quite large. I think the most appreciated thing of all was the morning breakfast, you had so much selection it was definitely worth the price of admission. Check out the park next door (and also the shortcut to the BTS) it's really cool, seeing people doing taichi, jogging, volleyball, basketball and TAKRAW. Very cool.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're pressed for internet, check out the Parrot Cafe, they have some (very slow) computers for use there if you're a customer. My suggestion: If your favorite websites have a mobile version visit them there cos they're less intensive and wont' take half your life to load up hehe.
