Had a great stay arrived at the hotel at about 9am and the room was given in 10 mins although they charged a amount for having the room early comfortable beds and a good variety of food in the hotel,Located in central Pratunam which is easier access to the shopping areas in Pratunam from the hotel had a great stay

Good stay, no problems!
Walking distance to shopping area like Pratunam market and Platinum mall

overall 3d2n stay was hassle free, bed was wide, sheets and toilet are clean. lcd tv in the room.
breakfast widespread ranging from bacon and eggs, pancakes, oatmeal and varieties of bread, pasta, chinese fried rice/noodles and porridge. not to forget fruits!
hotel is linked to indra square where souvenirs can be bought with a food court with international food. 7-11 just opposite the hotel. exit from the main entrance and turn right, there's a small night market, walking down will led to baiyoke sky/suites.
did not interaction with the staff much as there was no need to.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take the Airport Rail Link to Ratchaprarop station for 40 bhat, walking distance to hotel. When you see Indra Square, Indra Regent is around the corner.

comfortable hotel with good location for shopping

enjoyed our stay at the hotel, breakfast is also good. 15-20 min walk to prathunam/palladium mall and platinum mall.
room was big and comfortable. we were given a room on 17 floor with good view. quick checkin and checkout without any fuss. also note making isd calls is very expensive from hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Definitely visit Siam Niramit show and Royal Grandpalace.

Over rated hotel

While the hotel is well located in an area that provides most things for the traveller, it is considerably over priced for what you receive. Many hidden extras (600THB for internet per day, 250THB for 1 hour internet). Meals are not up to standard and service does not match other similar rated hotels. I have stayed there on about 7 occasions over the years but would not consider staying there again. There are nearby hotels that provide better service and meals are lower cost.
Some promised features were not available.

i am a regular traveller to bkk. indra regent is on my top list when choosing hotel in bangkok. it is located in center of business area (pratunam)
Shopping Tip:
Learn how to bargain a price in Pratunam. Normally 15% to 20% discount you can get if you are good barginer.

i have stayed several time at this hotel and each time i feel more like i dont wish to be in any other place in bangkok as it is so good . the hotel has so much going for it the room to start with clean tidy looks great and the beds confortable and great pillows in all i am very happy there and carnt waite till my next visit .. love love

we always stay at this hotel when in bangkok. the breakfast has plenty of choices. the shopping around this hotel is very good, which makes the indra a great location. staff not particularly friendly, a friendly smile never hurt anybody, but would make customers feel welcome and not a nuisance. however our deluxe room was very lovely and comfortable.
Shopping Tip:
7/11 food store straight across the street for nibbles, drinks etc.

my 2nd time staying in indra regent. helpful and good english speaking staff always impress me a lot, they can provide valuable advice on your trip for planning. being upgraded to superior room, lovely environment inside the hotel, plus convenient location in the heart of bangkok really value for money.
