Location Location Location.... it doesn't get any better - everything is at your doorstep. Great customer service Clean rooms

Can't even remember how many times I stayed at the Indra but it's quite a lot. Always enjoyed my stay there. The rooms are big and clean. This time I actually booked a studio room and they actually upgraded me to a better room on a high floor for free. The location is fantastic - the best shopping centres and markets at walking distance. I'll surely stay at the Indra every time I travel to Bangkok. I highly recommend it.

Hotel is in a good location for shopping,

The drinks at the pool bar were exspensive, the rooms were a bit small.

The hotel Staff were pleasant and very helpful. The morning breakfast was good, plenty to chose from and met all your needs, the swimming pool was very clean and the bar pool was open till 2am, Ideal location for shopping and markets, massages. The room we were booked in was only a standard room was very small, we only stayed one night l would not like to much longer in that small room.

Location, location Location - Indra Regent still has one of the best locations in Bangkok

Air conditioning was not as good as it could have been.

The location of the Indra Regent - close to all shopping and with the night markets at the entrance to the hotel is very hard to beat especialy for the price you pay. Breakfast was a great way to start the day which kept 4 girls going until well after lunch. Our room was in the corner of the 10th floor which gave us great views over the lights and traffic of Bangkok. Would definatley stay here again

Shopping Tip : Definately take a trip to the afternoon/night markets straight outside the hotel. Stalls and stock changes regularly.

For shopping, this hotel is in the heart of it. Flea markets and shops are at ones finger tips. It has the required amenities such as a pool, spa, beauty salon and restaurants. It also has a limosine service that provides fair rates to the airport and other surroundings.

The TV stations are limited. Should you not be night life individual this can be regarded as a handicap

For shopping, this hotel is one of the best to be at. As you walk out of the hotel, shops and flea markets are at your finger tips. The staff are friendly and always try and assist even in broken english. The rooms are nice and spaciaus. The hotel has the required amenities from a gym, restaurants. The one negative aspect is that the TV stations are limited. The rooms are clean and neat. I would recommend that the rooms are made more business for people on business. But for vacation people, it is fine. The breakfast is a bit limited in comparison to other 4 star hotels. However, I would definitely stay at the hotel again and also recommend it to other travelers.

Position and proximity to great shopping. A very interesting part of town

Tea cups in the room are tiny.

We stayed at Indra Regent Hotel recently. The surrounding area is full of interesting shops and there is an enormous shopping precinct within 500 metres. The hotel was very acceptable. Rooms comfy and adequate. Handy 7/11 across the street for Singhas. Tea cups were the size of thimbles and only good enough for one mouthful. Needed more channels on TV - Only one sport and no CNN and rotten movie channel - Hallmark!

Travel tip : Very cheap internet just across the road - cross by the pedestrian bridge. Don't use internet at hotel - too expensive

Location of Indra as always is a major reason why we use this hotel

Rooms are getting a little tired and air conditioning was only very average.

Hotel is located particularly well to what we wanted to see. Shopping for 4 ladies over 40. Only real negative comment would be regarding the air conditioning. Both of the rooms we booked needed the air conditioning looked at. Our room took the technician over 70 minutes to get working and then it only just blew out recycled air. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Staff particularly helpful at all times. This was my 8th time at the Indra and I will be back - value for money in a hotel that you really only sleep in.

Hotel Feature Tip : Dont overlook the pool at the Indra Regent, very refreshing after a big day of shopping.

15 mins walk to Central World n 10 mins to Platinum Mall.

Breakfast variety needs to improve. Poor quality of food. Rooms too old n need to refurnish, no toiletries.

Not value for money. U can find many hotels with same price.

Fantastic breakfast; central to heaps of great shopping and eating.

It is a little outdated and could do with a repaint.Very clean and the staff are very accomadating.

Bed was a little hard but not to bad.The rooms where very clean and the staff where very happy to accomadate any requests. The hotel is central to heaps of great cheap shopping and all other areas of Bangkok. There are heaps of great places to eat at around this hotel.A visit to the Banyan Tree with its 82nd storey glassed restrauant is a must. Watch the sun set and all of Bangkoks lights come on with a great smorgisboard Dinner.

Travel tip : Fantastic shopping all around this hotel. Big Jim,s was one of the best meals we had in our 15 nights in Thialand.

Spacious and cool lobby, large swimming pool.

Surrounded by slums ,and mad traffic.

Bit out of the way , if you want nightlife, eg Sukhumvit St, but only a 50 bht ride in a taxi meter cab. Also a long walk , well it seems long in the heat , to nearest Skytrain station. Shopping wholesalers across the street, cheap goods. Hotel decor is dated, and corridors are gloomy but it is QUIET and you'll get a good nights sleep.

Nightlife Tip : Get taxis with a meter, not hotel taxis or tuk tuks, metered fares are cheap!

Great rooms, markets next door and great buffet breakfast

internet service was a little dear

You couldn't ask for a better hotel or location. It's right in the middle of markets, but the hotel is very quiet, you can also choose smoking or non smoking floors. You have a short walk to catch the sky train or catch a taxi or tuk tuk out the front to take you to MBK shopping centre. There is also markets, McDonalds and other eating places under the roof of the Indra Regent. This is the second time we have stayed here and we would certainly stay here again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If your at this hotel on a sat or sun take the sky train to the chatachuk (not how it's spelt)markets huge place, the train stops right at the markets

Handy to walk to markets etc

certainly not 4 starr. extremely hard beds and pillows rude front desk people towels very worn and gray

I do not think that this was 4 starr. It was clean but very dull and dreary. Very very hard beds and pillows, towels in room need to be replaced as threadbear. The breakfast, althou ok was very back packerish. Infact the whole place is very back packerish. Very cheap place to stay and really you pay for what you get. It is very handy to markets etc and if you are out all day i would recommend it. Certainly do not stay there if you want luxury as it is not that sort of place

Shopping Tip : learn to bargain in bangkok so you dont get taken for a ride. Dont get in a taxi unless you either ask for meter or do the deal first

Convenient location, near to Platinum and all the wholesale center. Clean room, spacious. Friendly staff.

Limited food around the hotel, has to go further down to Central World for more variety.

This is my 2nd time staying in Indra Regent. We like the hotel location and cleanliness of the room, as we love to shop at the wholesale center. And if you know the way to the BTS from the hotel, it is probably around 15 minutes walk down the streets to it or to Central World. Therefore, we enjoy walking down as there are many streets stalls along the way. We would definitely want to go back to the hotel again when we are in Bangkok.

Near to shopping centre and good breakfast.

no wifi facility.

This was about our 6th time at the indra and as usual we loved it! Although some of the rooms are showing their age, they are maintained spotlessly and the service is impeccable. In house food and drinks are extremely expensive by bangkok standards though. If you enjoy shopping this is the place to be as it is close to many markets (Pratunam, etc), siam square, world trade centre and pantip plaza for electronics etc. Highly recommended. Shopping Tip : Search the small soi, or streets near the hotel for clothing etc much cheaper than at the weekend market!

good location near to pratnum market. good facilities, rich break fast and polite and courteous staff

a strange quiteness

The hotel location is very ideal close to the market and district centre, room was good, clean and have faced no problem. i did not use room service though the breakfast was healthy and rich. On the flip side, i felt bit of loneliness in hotel with no sound whatsoever in the lobby and other areas. I am sure this is good for many persons as they prefer quiteness but for me little bit of sound of people talking, music etc makes a space more lively.

Shopping Tip : shopping at market closby provide value for money and there are few asian (indian/pakistani/sri lanka/nepal) restaurants nearby - this is specifically important for travellers coming from this part of the world.
