centrelize in most of the major shopping area. Traffic too congested in this location Very friendly amospheres and confortable feeling, particularly the club floor facilities. The environment all look friendly and security look good, very pleasent place for family.

Location, close to central world, siam paragon, bussiness district should be more personalized I like stay in the hotel, in the future would again consider stay in this hotel.

High quality hotel, great location have to pay for in room internet. I travel to Bangkok every two weeks. I decided that I would splurge a bit this time and stay at a more expensive place than my usual hotel. Very nice room, excellent gym and lounge area. I was disappointed that I had to pay extra for the internet - it is free in most other places that I stay in Bangkok. Excellent location, walking distance to many malls and restaurants. Staff were excellent. If you have the budget it is worth staying here.

Room service food was mediocre. I just stayed at Intercontinental Bangkok from October 30 to Nov 3, 2009. I really liked the renovated rooms. I loved the pillow menu a lot. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The Chidlom BTS station is just a flight of stairs (in front of the hotel) and a walkway away. Gaysorn is connected to the hotel and the Central World Plaza is also a walkway away. I believe it is one of the best located hotel in Bangkok. I also commend the service. Each time I walked in with shopping bags, I was offered by one of the staff help in carrying them. I would stay here again.

Great room, great service, great location, great price while on promotion, the best buffet I've ever had! We got a great price for Intercontinental Bangkok last month, everything was fantastic. The buffet is highly recommended!Best I've ever had!

this is the many times i stay with Inter-cont hotel. Everything is just perfect and they have innovation which make the rooms and envirnoment better. Staff are REALLY passionate and professional. I feel the staff at the restaurant with true smile from heart. Needless to say, location is excellent, just 15 minute from Siam square for shopping....of course you can that the BTS train just outside the hotel. But I prefer the waling because that is a all-shelter flyover straight through the shopping center. The only thing is the swimming pool is too small and not very attractive. I think they can fully utilize the high-floor view as the attraction to compensate the small-scale of the pool. Also, if the internet is free of charge will be perfect. everything is prefessional and effective. I feel friendly, welcome, concerned at Inter-Cont. Staff are really WELL-TRAINED. Room is great, I like the big white towels and cleaned pressed bed sheets. The gym is also great, big and well-equipped. Regarding to the buffet, that's a great experience cause the food is good, try the fried liver with baked bread, that's an unforgettable taste. Surely come back again and money worth.
Restaurant Tip : buffet is great. I had a luncheon on sunday and they gave me a voucher of BHT1390, which is more than a regular dinner buffet. Then I used the voucher the other night and I cost me only BHT300 for a regular buffet.

The hotel is situated at a very very good location. It is 5 min walk to sky train or shopping mall. The room is clean and comfortable. I feel the reception can be improved a bit, because I had to wait for more than 10 min to check in and there's only one or two staff handling the check-in process. The hotel should also offer free internet or wifi for the price of the stay.

Cockcroach found in the bathroom. You have housekeeping entering our rooms even at 6pm.Renovation works in the middle of the night which was very unbearable. Good hotel location but for the price that I am paying, the hygiene of the bathroom, the renovation works going on in the middle of the night, it is certainly not worth the money to stay there.

Close to major shopping centers and BTS Taxi can be slow getting to hotel from Sukumvit Road Fantastic Hotel. 5 star rooms. Great view from our room of Siam Square and shopping centers. Excellent location. BTS station right in front of Hotel and close to food and shopping. Taxis can take a while getting into the hotel from Sukumvit due to the traffic was the only draw back. Nice pool and excellent gym facilities available. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in bangkok.

location, staff, room, and nice breakfast the internet connection is a bit overprized, the in-room dining menu is short. I really enjoyed my staying at this hotel everything was great. Clean bath, comfy bed, alot of cable tv channels, nice pool and spa, nice breakfast and above all great location 2 mints walk to the sky train,And many shopping centers and restrunts are nearby the hotel.

excellent room and service. Best location in town. excellent room and service. Best location in town. The lobby at the moment is undergoing refurbish. Staff here are brilliant and very polite. The room on the 31st floor is very spacious and nicely decorated with a fantastic view of the city. Very good value for money right in the middle of things with the central mall just next door to fulfill your shopping needs.

My only gripe was that the hotel was being renovated at the time The Intercontinental was one of the best hotels I've stayed in in Bangkok. Not only is it fantastically located, close to the BTS and within walking distance to most of the major shopping malls, but the hotel itself was a luxury to stay at. The rooms were highly suited for business travel, spacious with all the right amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit.

Rooms are very good and comfortable Under Construction/Renovation so everything is hanging in there, until it's finally all ready I think early 09 I liked the rooms. Had to pay extra for Club to enjoy internet and Club Room drinks and breakfasts, but the breakfast downstairs was far superior and wasn't included, if I took it downstairs. Fortunately hotel didn't charge ahen I complained, but be careful. Also the gym and pool was simply the one at the sister hotel, Holiday Inn joined to it from next door. Quite ordinairy, but for the price and the quality of the room all Ok in the end. I'm sure when the reno's are complete the pricing of this place will go up.\n

Everything from personalised service to room comfort, space, meals, high tea, evening drinks Hotel perfectly located to Sky Train and Sky walk and has internal access to Gaysorn plaza and walkway to Central. The hotel is truly 5 star- the rooms luxuriously appointed, the bed extremely comfortable and the staff very obliging indeed. Hotel currently undergoing refurbisment so in-house pool out of action but one had use of pool at hotel next door (Holiday Inn). I would certainly recommended to any visitor to Bangkok.
Shopping Tip : Use sky train or sky walk - no need to ever go outside intothe Bangkokheat!
