The Hotel is small, but nice. The service and people are great. The price is very affordable and very quiet at night. The best thing about Jim's Lodge is that easy access to the US embassy. It's only a 5 min walk. The worst thing about Jim's Lodge is the internet! Its not free by any account, in fact its 150-b per hour!!! I would recommend Jim's Lodge to any and all who have business at the US embassy or any of the other emabssys in the area. The accomadations are clean and simple, but cheap around 1000-b per night. The food is the same....I recommend you arrive for breakfast at 7am when they open to get your food hot and fresh. You also have easy and quick access to the BTS and Sukamavit rd (spelled wrong...:)!)

Some problems checking in but all resolved in the end.
Shopping Tip : Theres a good department store at the sytrain stop Nana called robinsons bit cheaper than central.

Would stay here again as other hotels were a lot more expensive for the same thing.
Shopping Tip : Night markets were within walking distance if you like to walk otherwise get a tuk tuk or taxi.

For the price - no complaints; except that taxis have difficulty in looking for it. if you wish to just a have a room that is not too expensive but have very good food- this can be the place for you. It has water heating facility so you can have coffee or noodles in middle of the night no fuss. It is also quite convenient if you wish to go for a little shopping during your stay. It is also just a few minutes walk from the big hotels where our meeting took place.
However, they need to place a big sign in the corner so that guests will not get lost. it is a bit out of the way, so it was easy to get lost if you make the wrong turn in the evening.
All other things are fine - it is really ok for the cost and for what I needed during that brief stay.
Restaurant Tip : Try their food in the hotel - it was okay.

Cleanliness, the corresponding Monorail takes about 7 minutes walk from the station, but the price is fairly old, clean and comfortable. Because of the small, homey atmosphere. MOTOMENAI a luxury if the hotel is adequate. No shower and toilet compartment to use the shower and the toilet would damp困RIMASHITA. On the same street in a fashionable restaurant, the hotel is a great spot.
