I had a really great stay here in transit to Cambodia.
Really enjoyed the central location truly allowing the hotel to be used as a base being able to come and go several times a day!
Really enjoyed using the oool from first thing in the morning to a refreshing evening swim! Nice ambience up there creating a good socialising hub without leaving the premises!
Hotel is right on Khoasan road so lots of restaurants, mney changers, massage, food, drinks and clubbing on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again when next in Bangkok!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely use the pool! No food here but right outside door there are many options!!

Great intro to Bangkok for those who like to throw themselves into the middle of a city and aclimatize. Good place to base yourself as everything is a tuk tuk drive away, however DO NOT catch a tuk tuk from khao San road. It's not that long from one end to the other, and if you do, make sure you know where you want to go and agree on a price before going, otherwise you will be taken to a couple of temples initially then taken to a gem merchants and on to a series of Indian tailor shops to be hassled by arrogant tailors to buy a silk suit which you won't wear and will never need. Khaosan can be fun but it is a major tourist trap and after a day or so. Not good. Be adventurous and walk down the many streets off of it and meet some real Thai people who don't want to sell you anything and are lovely and very helpful. The food around khaosan rd. Is overpriced and as westernized as you can get without leaving your own backyard. Go have some street food instead with locals. The best meal we had came from an old lady with a vending cart and only cost us 75 cents each. The harmony of the flavors blew our minds. If you want western food go to anywhere in khao San road, then maybe go back to your hotel and watch tv if that's how you like to see and experience Bangkok. If not, many treasures and delights await you further afield. Be adventurous and enjoy.

Not bad at all for this price. Location could not be better if you are staying in Khao San Road. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pharmacy and 7-eleven pretty much right outside the lobby. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Bangkok, look no further. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Shopping Tip:
The 7-eleven outside the lobby won´t sell you beer on certain times of the day, but the one at the far end of Khao San Road will????

The hotel is a step up from tbe other budget hotels. The pool although very much smaller than it appears in the pictures was clean and offered a refreshing break from the city heat.
