1.Room have a tasteful modern decor
2.Very helpful staff
3.Very near to MRT station
4.Hotel area serve a lot of muslim food
1. Taxi driver in front of the hotel always refuse to use meter and want to overcharge customer.
Personally i think Le Fenix is one of the few boutique hotel that really cater for everyone. Its a great hotel for your honeymoon or holidays as Sukhumvit 11 is known to have a lot of good & romantic restaurants together with few top dance clubs in Bangkok. But for me, the thing i like most about this hotel is their staff. They are so accomodating and helpful during all my stay there.

A beautiful boutique hotel
Actually this is my favorite hotel whenever i travel to Bangkok. I like this hotel as its so conveniently locatated in an area where you can get almost everything during your holiday. The restaurants around the area serve a very good food from local to eastern or even western. Theres a night market nearby the hotel and if your are a party guy, one of the top club in Bangkok is just across the road.
Travel tip : Theres a lot of good traditional thai massage shop also around the hotel vicinity.

Great Location, clean, food, swimming pool
Some unfriendly staff, room smell (lack of air freshener), Dirty running water in Bath
The rooms are fairly basic and gave me the impression this hotel was trying very hard to be a 3* hotel. Saying that my room in the newer wing were spacious, clean and my balcony over looked the hotel forecourt which was nice. There was a problem with the water in the bath. One day I found dirty water running from the tap - it was reported to reception and promptly fixed. This was still a little worrying - I mean where did the dirty water come from and where did it finally go? As for excess noise levels - I stayed on the 2nd floor and very close to the main road. If you keep the balcony doors closed then you can't hear any noise. I can only think that the people complaining about the noise levels had their balcony doors open (of course you will hear noise!!)and you don't come to Pattaya for a "relaxing" holiday anyway do you? The Restaurant food was fine but the staff serving us never looked happy and it clearly showed. The breakfast was OK but could be better and with more options. The Hotel is a 5 min walk from the beach and a 20 min walk from Walking Street. There are many cheap taxi's available. Anyway on reflection, for the price and location this Hotel is a good deal. It would suit solo traveler's or couples.
Hotel Feature Tip : Nice massage parlor - walk down road opposite the hotel and you can find it located on the the next junction (next to a chemist).

Location at its best, new and fresh hotel, near to the clubs, and food stalls
Rooms and bathroom a little bit small.. Few minutes walk down the soi
Stayed at the le fenix for the 4th time this time.. Loved the hotel.. Veryy stylish hotel with an amazing crowd. Has good restaurants like the flow bar and of course the amazing rooftop resto "nest". Loved the location as its close to the major clubs like the bed superclub, qbar. Etc.. Staffs are very helpfull and polite. Good value for money.. I recommend all my friends frm indonesia to stay at the le fenix everytime the hit bangkok.. And the always comer back with a smile.. Have to stay at the le fenix.
Nightlife Tip : Close to the nightlife like bedsuper club and qbar. Plus you get a free entrance at both the clubs if you show your room key..

design, environment, location, price, security, convenient
room needs to improve in term of cleaniness, food offered a bit off the standard
overall worth the money for staying... if the room cleaniness can be improved further will be the best of all...
Nightlife Tip : surrounded by pubs, clubs and bistro... on top is Nest bar, opposite is Qbar, beside is a club called Diva and opposite of it another happening club... you can get Manchester United bistro as well further down the road...

Free entrance to Q Bar & Bed Supper night club.
Room was not clean, no view at all i could see the next build, staff not very helpful and polite.
I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. The room was not clean and there was a smell from the room. Tried to call room service at around 3:00 AM in the morining to get some water but it was closed. Front office staff was also not very friendly. The mini bar is very expensive. There is a nearby 7 Eleven get everything you need from there. The Q bar was a good place and also down the corner there is Bed Supper.
Nightlife Tip : Q Bar and Bed Suppers is just across the hotel.

location, stylish, nice bars, good value
small windows to look out to a another building, no room service, dirty carpet in my room.
the le fenix is a nice hotel super well located in the heart of bangkok. the staff was friendly, which seems harder and harder to find theses days in bangkok and for the price it's a great place to stay. i would have liked to order room service a few mornings, but there was no menu in my room, also i think my room could have been a bit cleaner (found a few mystery hairs in the bathroom upon arrival.) all in all the le fenix is a cool comfortable place to stay.
Nightlife Tip : free entry to bed supperclub and q bar if you show your key, bring both keys for a friend.

Style, price, staff, pool/gym facility, rooftop club, nice lounge, nice TV, can bring guests.
No in-suite hair dryer or iron, expensive room service food.
I would come back to this hotel simply because it is worth the money. A stylish, clean place that you won't spend all your money at!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're a westerner like me, you'll need a Starbucks to get you going in the morning. There's one close by at Soi 6. Then you can head back to Nana Station and be on your way!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice gym.
Water in the pool made me freezing, could not longer stay in the water than two minutes.
The hotel is located near busy Nana. To Nana Sky Train Station it is a 10 minutes walk but hotel offers a free Tuk Tuk for to go to Sky Train Station. We chose this hotel because we wanted to have a swimming pool but when we saw the pool and later felt the cold water, we were quite disappointed. Except pool we had nothing to complain. I can recommend this hotel when you don't need the pool or when you like water temperature not much above 20 degree.
Nightlife Tip : With key card from hotel you get free entrance to clubs around the hotel.

good air conditioning, close to night bazar, desiign, roof top bar
pricey and very small pool
le fenix is expensive but nice. room rates are reasonable. drinks and food expensive, it was cheaper to drink downstairs bar than upstairs bar. very clean and air con good. quite hard to find though but still in a good location.staff very friendly and helpful. would reccomend it to someone looking to party rather than quite holiday.
Shopping Tip : make sure to go to the night bazar shopping market take a tuk tuk also! :)

A little run down hallway and some areas of the room
We stayed at Le fenix for 1 night. The location is great, within walking distance to clubs such as Bed Supper, Q bar (if you show your room key, you enter at no charge), Spice Club, etc. The Lobby area looks really cool and modern too. However, what a surprise..as I went up to the room and take the elevator, I was instantly dissapointed. The level 5 hallway looks pretty run down that instantly lower the hotel to more of a motel look. What a contrast compared to the lobby. The interior of the room itself was decent. I thought actually for the price we paid it was an excellent value, until we caught a small cockroach I would recommend this hotel only for short stay, just a place to sleep for few hours.

Interior design, size of room, amenities from Superior package, housekeeping
Air Conditioning/Ventilation of room 418 not working properly, 722 was alright, light switches, temperature of shower difficult to adjust
My stay at Le fenix was pleasant overall. The location is good for distance to the famous clubs but too far from restaurants. It is located on the end of soi 11. The hotel room amenities were good. Housekeeping hours were excellent as I usually left the room at late hours. The shower water temperature was quite hard to adjust and I seem to knock the adjusting 'lever' all the time. Overall, I would give the hotel a 3.5/5 rating. I would recommend it to other visitors if they are looking for a quiet hotel and clubbing around that area. I would suggest the superior room as it offers alot of amenities for a small cost. Standard rooms are same in size but lack alot of amenities.
Nightlife Tip : Close to the famous clubs for foreigners like Bed Superclub and QBar. However, these are expensive clubs and they have less local people. I would suggest Soi Ekamai if you are really into clubbing.
