just perfect!!!
Love the roof top bar. Staff were kind and helpful.

This is certainly a little gem I would love to keep by myself but why not share the joy and love.
Spacious clean room, great staff, love the roof top lounge bar......nice music and comfy setting.
Would definitely go back....just about right.
Nightlife Tip:
More than enough nightlife around this hotel to keep you entertained.

Good location in Sukhumvit Soi 11 - Hotel tuk-tuk service to Nana BTS station as free service during day time.
If you like to spend your evenings enjoying live bands, nightclubs or cool lounges this is good place to stay. Walking distance from Bangkok Beat, Hillary Bar 2, Bamboo, Climax for example. Also Insomnia is rather near by etc.
Nightlife Tip:
Good live bands from 9.30 PM until "late" in Bangkok Beat

badly renovated hotel
in a street popular for nightlife

i mistakenly believed that le fenix is a brand new hotel. upon arrival i discovered it's an old hotel which has been renovated but in a very superficial way. the room sizes are fine but they have a small window and have used formica instead of wood. the bathroom is also redone but everything looks like a hurried job with grouting showing from between the tiles. the carpets in the corridors are dirty, the furniture in the reception area is scratched and needs a paint or polish job badly. i chose this place for its affordable price but you can find better hotels for the same price in bangkok. the location may be an attraction for some because it is in a very popular soi for night life and you can literally just step out of your hotel and be there. but i found it to be too commercial and would rather stay somewhere slightly calmer.

Its a nice hotel with good location. Prices were too high despite the incoming flood. No breakfast and overpriced minibar and internet. Nest skybar is on the top and Q bar is just across( which was closed due to renovation) Aircinditioning was broken
Nightlife Tip:
Bed superclub is not too bad but it is getting old and dirty. Q bar is closed due to renovation. RCA, Mixx and scrachdog are not too bad

Lovely hotel with great service

hotel will very nice modern decor. was greeted by friendly hotel staffs at our arrival. free shuttle service from hotel to nana bts station, but will be perfect if free shuttle service is also available for bts back to hotel:-) a great location with lot of great foods & drinking places around at walking distance. not too sure about the age of this hotel, but a new coat of paint & a new layer of carpet with be necessary to upkeep the nice modern decor. rooms are spacious but mattress seemed a bit soft due to long period of usage. showerscreen seemed to be abit too narrow to prevent water from splashing onto the dry flooring outside shower area.

The hotel is good for price, well located.
The stuff is friendly although a bit diff to comunicate with them in english.
The worst: There were loads of little ants in my bed. I had to move to diff bedrooms three times until they gave me finally one without insects
The room looks clean though.
The swimming pool is tiny.
Breakfas is so expensive.
I wouldn´t go back to this hotel
