Superb Hotel, a must stay when visiting Bangkok

This hotel really stood out at the point of searching for hotels over the Internet and on arrival did not disappoint, the greeting from the staff on arrival after a long flight was amongst the best I have received. Check in was smooth which i am sure you'll agree is good thing, the rooms are very big and the stunning views over the city of Bangkok go on for miles and I will return to this hotel and will also recommend to others without a shadow of a doubt.

lovely staff who were helpful in explaining about features of the hotel.
we stayed in the riverside view room and we had a great view.
the facility is little bit aged but staff service and the view is definitely worth the stay.
the sky bar on the roof is definitely worth a visit but the bar is closed when it rains.
be sure to ask the door man for recommendations for site seeing as they will make good recommendations and organise the taxi for you as well.

i was with my mamy and her friend for 2 nights...we booked 2 rooms and they upgraded for free the room for my mamy and her friend to a fantastic 2 bed suite on floor 52...they felt like two princesses..wow everything was just beautiful with balconies overlooking bkk...wow...all is great..dont miss this hotel, it has something special.... the best hotel ever!!!
4 stops from siam square....enjoy

I chose the hotel after watching the movie Hangover and it was indeed a great stay. I was also upgraded to a premium suite. The view from the hotel down to the city was awesome. This hotel is an area you can choose to stay away from the Siam/Pratunam area.. and explore the places near the river. The hotel breakfast was superb and has a great spread. Bed was very comfortable too. Service staff was excellent as I ate at cafe mozu and distil. I would choose to come back here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Had some drinks and oysters at the restaurant at sky bar. Prices were a little steep. I ordered oysters and ate one that was a little spoilt. The service staff gave me a new piece without me asking for it. If your are there for the view. Having some drinks at the sky bar can be sufficient. unless you are willing to splurge on the food.

This time we had the city view. The view here is slightly less interesting than the riverview, but also recommendable. Especially if you already had the riverview a couple of times. The rooms on this site seemed in better shape than the other site.

Big rooms with most amenities. Missed a kettle, and the minibar was not stocked with anything except water. Extremely overpriced tea at 536 bahts for a pot (nothing bit the tea and a piece of chocolate).
