"There is simply no substitute for The Lebua"
the dome! the service, the smiles!
9.3
I stayed at this hotel five years ago and recently I stayed for 9 nights as I was in Bangkok on vacation, the service was excellent and has not changed from the first time I stayed there. My favorite place to hang out was the distil bar on the 64 floor, loved the crew working there! Really no complaints at all about this hotel what so ever, I initially booked a riverview suite however upon my arrival a room was not available, the A+ staff at Lebua didn't miss a beat upgrading me to one of the Tower Suites which was way nicer! I would reccomend this hotel to anyone from a newbie to Bangkok to a long standing veteran of Asian travel, you simple go wrong with Lebua!

Great Location with a Wonderful View of Bangkok
Sky Bar and Distil Bar are awesome for a luxurious dating atmosphere or a pre-game drinking spot.

This Hotel never ceases to impress; not only is the rooms very luxurious and makes you feel at home, but the service is impeccible and suited to please anything you may need. The Sky Bar and Distil are great nightlife areas in the hotel; and hey Hangover 2 was shot at the Sky Bar. They are great places to pre-game with friends, or to enjoy a date or honeymoon with your loved one.

Wow ! Nice ending to a holiday
Great service and nice room .
9.3
Apart from the power cut on our floor for a few hours , it was perfect .
We stayed here on our last two night of our holiday and it was a great hotel to end the holiday . Got upgraded to the 58th floor room and the view was amazing . Nice room , good breakfast and the facility was also good . The sky bar is a must , pricey drinks ( 500 thb ) a pop but the view definitely makes up for it . Would definitely come back !
Restaurant Tip:
Somboon restaurant down the road . The best crab curry in Thailand .

Lovely hotel and excellent service
9.3
this was my 1st trip to bangkok and staying at lebua was great. the rooms are massive...at least ours was. huge bathroom, free mini-bar (didn't get charged even though i pointed out that i had taken 2 drinks out). am a coffee person, so the nespresso machine in the room was great. the view from the balcony was breathtaking especially at night. (we had the river view). the staff were extraordinarily helpful. had a problem with my shower and within 10mins, it was all sorted out. i have to say, breakfast was fantastic! there was everything from waffles to sushi. lots of fruit. the only con for me was that, u can't go to breakfast in one of those slippers they give you in the room, even though breakfast is outside by the pool! made my partner change shoes! but i guess they want to keep it classy.....a bit of overkill if you ask me. oh, and the sky bar....beautiful view, but quite crowded.
the hotel is a distance from all the attractions, but just a "tuk tuk" or taxi ride away.....if you don't mind the traffic. its also better to get a taxi from the lobby, you would probably get ripped off if you took on the streets.

Nice hotel but cold staff, some bad service.
Our room was very large and clean. The balcony's were great. The breakfast buffet was great also.
6.7
We stayed there for 5 nights. We had just come from another 5 star resort in Krabi. The staff at Lebua seemed very cold in general. They acted more like security then helpers. Seem to be very strict about the movement of guests regarding the Skybar. The dress code seems silly considering the weather in Thailand. The staff at the front desk was very rude to my wife who happens to be Thai herself. The hotel itself is very nice and the room was great. Really its just the staff and all the restrictions that made us feel unwanted. The resort we had just come from was the best so it was a real change in atmosphere for us. A change for the worse. The elevator's were very slow as well. We always had to wait a long time with other frustrated guests for the lift.....The price for food and drinks was way over the top as well. Breakfast was included in our deal. I ordered a coke which was not part of breakfast and each time it cost me THB 340. That is just crazy even for a 5 star hotel.....
Hotel Feature Tip:
Check out the Skybar at least once....

great top end hotel that represents great value. All the niceties are there for the executive traveler. The executive floor and lounge are amongst the best I have stayed in around the world. Highly recommended to business travellers

this is a brilliant hotel. i love it.
almost every thai hotel is run professionally, but these guys...from the moment you arrive, they'll have your check-in covered with a concierge who will flit about as you take a seat for a few moments (the lobby or the entire hotel really - including the restaurants - have excellent free wi-fi - the only time i would lose the signal was in the elevators) - the concierge will need you to sign the waiver to open the doors for the spectacular balcony, and you'll be in your room without the mind-numbing, inexplicable, tilt / drama / inefficiency you'll be forced to endure just checking in/out of comparatively priced hotels in other se asian capitals.
no one does hospitality as brilliantly as the thais.
the breakfast included with the room was probably the best i've seen; not sure what you could want that they wouldn't have. i can't think of a negative. maybe the location in silom isn't the best but i'm nit-picking really. the staff are sharp and bright and this is a great hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
The SkyBar is great. Catch a cool and clear Bangkok night and I doubt the views are beatable anywhere in the city.
