Good service and great location
Great location, good service by hotel staff, fantastic rooms with balcony

I will definitely come back to Lebua at State Tower for my future trip to Bangkok.
The staff are really nice and helpful. They show us everywhere we want to go on the map with good suggestions. Hotel location is very convenient. It is walkable distance to the dock and train station.
Restaurant Tip:
Blue Elephant! You must try this royal Thai cuisine restaurant. It is only one station away from Lebua hotel and it is just opposite the train station. You can't miss it! It is really the best Thai food I've ever had. The staff are very kind.

Excellent Hotel with a stunning Dome view

we got here on our honeymoon, we've got room upgraded from floor 21 to floor 51, and all their staff service really at excellent level, very recommended hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Should try Sirocco or Sky Bar, the Dome (located on 64th floor at this hotel), the city and river view, the music, and the crowd, really a wonderful experience you should try, at least once in a life time DON'T FORGET the formal dress code!!

rooms were amazing but not the best location

the rooms were amazingly big and nice. i went with three other women on a girls weekend.the hotel is nice, the breakfast is great and has lots of variety. we didn't use the pool but it looks nice. we stayed in a tower club suite which was great- you get access to the tower club which was ok but nothing too special. they have food throughout the day but just snacks basically- free drinks though!! the hotel also has the famous sky bar which is pretty breathtaking.
the only downside is the location which is not great. it's about a 5-7 minute walk to the bts which is ok, but some of the other hotels (like the hyatt, marriott courtyard etc.) are much closer to the action and you can walk to the main shopping areas such as siam paragon etc. you can easily take taxis from lebua although traffic can be bad at many times of the day.
also- the hotel should have a separate elevator for guests staying in the tower club rooms as the line was often long to wait for the elevator with people going up to the sky bar.

there are soome good indian restaurant around the corner.

Absolutely fabulous time with great service

Rooms were great although furniture somewhat underwhelming compared to rest of hotel, the tower club was awesome with great, food and drinks and staff that made you feel special. Food and drinks in restaurants and sky bar totally out of average price range. Our every request was met, but they did not restock mini bar unless you asked. Room service was excellent and quite reasonable price.

Inmejorable hotel, no solo por su amabilidad, limpieza y grandiosidad, si no porque esta muy bien comunicado.
La habitación fue impresionante, casi como un piso de soltero, salón, baño, cocina y dormitorio, podíamoshaber estado alli todo el viaje sin salir, lo teníamos todo.
Las instalaciones estupedas, piscina, spa, gimnasio, varios restaurantes...
Muy recomendable.

Apart from the slow check-in, the stay was a pleasant experience. Staff were attentive and ready to assist, this was especially so from the Concierge. The room was very spacious, although interior seemed dated but the facilities were adequately modern. The river view was astounding! Sumptuous breakfast spread combining continental and asian.

Exceptional view

Very impressed by the service, room, and definitely the view. We stayed in the club suite on 51st floor overlooking the river. Without stepping out of the room, we get amazing sunset view from the balcony. The bar at the roof provides a breath-taking view of the bangkok skyline at night as well.
Whilst this is not in the heart of the shopping strip, it worked fine for us coz it's not the first time we are in bangkok and shopping isn't in the priority list.
The local street foods nearby is absolutely delicious. But do note that these local food stalls aren't the most sterile. If you choose to try, go for those that are boiling hot or freshly cooked.
The only thing that I wish this hotel would have is a "pillow menu".
Shopping Tip:
This is not in the heart of the shopping strip. If you prefer to be in the heart of all the shopping and drinking holes, this is probably not the most ideal location.

Fine hotel and extremely friendly staff.
We enjoyed the pool area with gym and sauna/steamroom.

By paying a little extra we got a room on the 52th floor. It was worth it, the view over the great city was fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast with a variety of delicious food and a warm welcoming every morning. Our daughter, aged 9, had a wonderful time including swimming in the pool twice a day.
