Pleasant hotel, nice pool, good service
Expensive extras for phone and internet, so-so breakfast.
They've got a great location and the staff is friendly and very helpful. What was disconcerting was getting the bill to find that I was charged 100 Baht for each 800 call I placed, a call that is free at most hotels. Plus the Wifi internet charge is very expensive. There are other better deals in the area with free wifi and phone charges. Probably will stay at one of the others next time.

Nice room, nice pool, nice common areas/grounds, great staff
No self-serve laundry, refrigerator full of over-priced stuff, quite a hike to a BTS station, my door didn't shut all the way. HORRIBLE breakfast buffet.
I really wanted to like this hotel. On paper, this place has everything I want. I am an independent traveller and like to buy my own snacks / food / drinks and do my own laundry - neither of which I could easily do at this supposed serviced apartment.
The hotel itself is very attractive and the rooms, though not large, are sufficiently sized, attractive and have a nice lay-out.
The pool area, though in plain view of the front door, is still very nice for lounging. If there was a fitness facility - I didn't find it.
The hotel's property is a bit odd. There is a very large building next door to the hotel which looks like it may have been an apartment building. It was being gutted and renovated when I was there and so disturbed the overall tranquility of the property and had the workers busy ogling the foreign women by the pool. This will obviously be temporary, but the long term plan of the building is not obvious and may impact the property's vibe.
This hotel is also quite a hike from a BTS station, and this from a very healthy guy who likes to walk in Bangkok. During the peak season, any traveller would be dripping by the time they arrived at the BTS station. There also does not seem to be a tuk-tuk available to take guests to the BTS.
The one item that absolutely MUST BE IMPROVED is the breakfast buffet. The food was poorly prepared, usually cold and of overall poor taste. The coffee now has the distinction of being the SECOND WORST cup of coffee I have ever had in my life. (The worst being at a Thai diner in Pattaya a year ago - Thailand and coffee seem to be a hit-or-miss proposition.)
Overall, this is a good hotel with some quirks and issues that stop ME from calling it great. If you are a traveller that prefers to order room-service, use the mini bar and give your laundry to the hotel to wash you will probably very much enjoy your stay here. I found another hotel in the vicinity with the same amenities, same price, closer to the BTS (Asok, in this case)
Hotel Feature Tip : If you don't want to pay the hotel's laundry fees, you can go directly across Sukhumvit to soi 22 (?) and there are laundry services there that are much less expensive. Getting across Sukhumvit there is definitely not for the weak of heart nor slow of foot.
