Great location and great room

this was really one of the best room i've ever lived. the location of legacy suites hotel was near the center of bangkok and the room was really comfortable and everything in the room was clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Some of the taxi driver will drive a wrong way to waste your time in order to get much money. Therefore, talk about the price and decide the final price when you take the taxi.

7 mins walk to phrom phong bts station which is also where emporium shopping mall is

people at the front desk are not informative and not helpful at all.

Shopping Tip:
Start bargaining from 60% off and settle 40% off. So many shops sells same things so dont worry of missing out on it.

the main con is limited exercise facilities, i ended up doing vertical marathons, but limited to 7 floors at a time. there is a tennis court in the open sun, but was being renovated while i was there. the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast buffet adequate, particularly for a mid-sized hotel. lots of dining available in the neighbourhood. the staff was courteous, friendly and proficient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the massage place down the street was ok, not great by thai standards, but much cheaper than the place attached to the htoel about which i heard not so favourable comments. of course, they will offer additional "services" (at least if you are a male) and are grateful if you give a good tip while declining.

i thought this hotel was great value for money. easily a 4 star hotel with a cheap price. they had really clean modern rooms with everything inside that you could possibly want. the staff were very friendly and would help you with anything. good size swimming pool also well maintained. breakfast was really tasty and ordered room service and food was also great. not a bad word to say about this hotel will stay next time in bangkok.

Location: Taxi driver had no problem finding the hotel. Hotel is on Sukhumvit Soi 29 - a small street - not really busy. Nothing much on this street. The Hotel is kinda out of way - between 2 BTS stations (Asoke and Phrom Phom) but if you needed a taxi the staff would run down the soi to get you a taxi - great service.
Staff: Front Desk/Bell - Was very friendly and helpful. Got a late checkout on our last day. Resturant Staff - Very polite, always smiling. Housekeeping: Always said hello or good morning - even showed us how to use and washing machine and dryer.
Hotel was clean and look new.
Room: Loved the room. Big room with King size bed. Flat Screen Tv with lots of local and english channels. Study to surf the internet and read email - WiFi worked great. Couch that could be used as a bed. AC worked great. Safe, Microwave, coffee maker, icebox and washer/dryer - clean and worked fine. Best part was the bathroom - large and clean shower and tub. Bubble bath tub was great for relaxing. Water pressure was strong and steady.
Food - Breakfast is fine - large selection of western food with omelete/egg station. Also had a few thai dishes. Only had breakfast so could not respond on lunch or dinner.
Features: Pool was great - located between the 2 towers. Wasn't that busy which was fine with us - needed to relax and kick back. Saw a fitness center but did not use - looked clean and new.
Overall a great hotel for the value - paid about a night. I would recommend this place if you want to relax.
