very courteous and accomodating. try the tour with a car of your choice. volvo or camry. the hotel is located at the center of everything. a nearby bank is also a few walks away. good for forex needs. we had a great time at the hotel. the only problem is the language. some staffs really cannot speak English... we had a majestic time at the hotel. value for money. accomodation is good and the breakfast offers a lot of options. it would be good to come back to thailand and be at the same hotel. you will not regret it.the hotel is conveniently located at the center of thailand. food and bars are nearby. the train station is also a few minutes walk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : take the hotel ride and choose the type of car for your tour. it's not cheap but its worth the money and time. you will appreciate thailand more with a locale with you.

Handy enough for most things and sky train
Also at the end of the motorway so easy to get to from and from the airport
Clean nice rooms, great breakfast, Good Food in restaurant Distant from down town Bangkok - but not a real issue with cheap taxis and skytrain Booked as a treat as I travelled with my wife while on business. Ticked all the boxes, good rooms, good rates (although there was a promotion going on), good breakfast, restaurant - Sacz - has italian style and ate teh best gnocci I have had anywhere, also got a little impartial to the Chile cabernet sauvignon at the bar. So it did the job, I would probaby look it out and check the rates next time through bangkok. Downside is that I really do not like paying for internet access nowadays.
Restaurant Tip : We ate well at the Aquila restaurant on the river

Pool area, spa area and gym came in very useful.
Wonderful staff.
Rooms comfortable and well looked after.
A very welcoming environment in a very welcoming city. Great location close enough to everything that the Sukhumvit area has to offer, yet in a quiet spot surrounded by other quality hotels. Recommend the food at the hotel which was always very fresh and well priced. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were always out to go the extra distance to make our stay enjoyable, whether it be recommending things to do our organising transport. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Classy Rooms, Good Breakfast, Close to Sky Train, Close to Motorway to get out to Airport, Good Restaurant We got the hotel at good rates - and was great. Although handy for trnasport it is at the other end of Bnagkok as the temples and River - but all very easy to access by Taxi. Very classy, lovely rooms, service great. The restaurant Saxc - was also good if you did not want to take on Bangkok - good italian food. The gnocci was as good as I have eaten anywhere, and the nicest wine list we have seen in Asia so far.
SO overall - if you can good rates - it is great.

Wonderful food and service in Sacz Italian restaurant Portions in the Sacz Italian restaurant were very small for the price although the quality of the food was excellent. Myself and my husband stayed here on our visit to Bangkok and we were delighted with the hotel. It was exactly as described and pictured on the Agoda website. We really loved the fact that it was very close to the skytrain and only a 5 minute journey to Siam on the train where all the shopping is. Breakfast was excellent in the 7th floor restaurant and there is Happy Hour in the Sacz Bar in the hotel lobby from 4-9pm every day which is great.

Service, congeniality of the staff, location, cleanliness of the property. This was my second stay at the Majestic Grande. Was refreshing seeing many of the same faces following one year. The staff was attentive and always willing to help. Asked for directions to addresses and they were able to give me adequate directions. The band in the lounge was nice. They play a variety of easy on the ear music (Frank Sinatra, Abba, Paul Anka, etc.); a mix of the old and new. The breakfast buffet is excellent. They have a variety of western, Thai, and Japanese foods available. The room was of adequate size and very clean. Laundry service was prompt and efficient. Food at the Sacz restaurant may be a bit pricey. Also, the attitude of the hotel management. Even with a hard economic year, the hotel stood with their employees. Good people, good hotel.
Travel tip : Close to the activities of the Sukhumvit area and the BTS.

Nice Staff. Great room with excellent view. Good Food in the Italian Restaurant. It is a little far to the BTS as this hotel is between Nana and Ploenchit stations. My first stay in the Majestic Grande was quite good. The staff was excellent and the hotel itself surprisingly well appointed. The buy two days get one free deal made this a real value!

Value for money rooms. Excellent friendly service throughout hotel.Food good value for money.Free cocktail on arrival and departure. Only 2 lifts and fairly long wait on occasion.
3 day booking 1 night free you are approached at breakfast table and told you must pay for breakfast on 3rd day. This should be dealt with at checkin as my partner was embarrased by this approach. The location is perfect being within easy walking distance of Sukhumvit road and the main shopping areas. There are 2 skytrain stations nearby and the hotel has excellent facilities throughout.
Without exception the staff are extremely friendly and there are smoking rooms if required.I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 6 months and have never been disappointed.

all......especially service and ambiance great service, restaurant fascilities, food quality, entertainment, location and ambience. Everything I could ask for in a hotel at a very reasonable price.
Travel tip : close to my favourite tailor (Embassy Suit Tailor)
and very close to Sukumvit without beling noicy....very personalized service and very good ambience and quisine.

Comfortable 4 star hotel, great position close to nightlife, friendly front desk staff, excellent value Small ornamental pool in front of restaurant diners There isn't much wrong with the Majestic Plaza. I had read the other reviews before choosing this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. I would happily stay here again. Good breakfast buffet, nice gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room so you can pass the time happily indoors without going out if you don't feel like it. Nice Italian restaurant on ground floor with nighly music. All very pleasant and hassle-free.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the subway and Skytrain to get around. Information is in English and the system is modern and efficient.

Close to BTS and shopping. We stay here everytime we visit Bangkok. The service is great and the rooms are excellent. It is close to all the action and only a short walk to the BTS

front dest services, restaurants and housekeeping were exceptional I love the location of this hotel and the simple elegance of the lobby and restaurants.....along with the excellent and friendly services provided.
Shopping Tip : Very close to MBK shopping complex, which has an excellent dental clinic and a 10-minute walk to my favourite tailor as well.
