Majestic location in the heart of sukhumvit
Soi 2 location walking distance from bars, restaurants, shops and amazing nighlife

The Majestic Grande hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok's sukhumvit entertainment precinct. Within 100m of the hotel you will find bars, restaurants and nightclubs, sprawling with tourists & locals. Imparticularly Soi 4 where the action never stops 24/7. All styles of food available as well as shopping for souvenirs and close to skytrain which links up with all major Bangkok attractions. I stayed in Deluxe Premier room which is spacious, good bedding, nice elevated views down to the hustle and bustle which sorrounds the hotel without the noise. The lighting in room could be improved, you either had the choice of too much light or not enough light, also the water pressure in the shower is not acceptable for this standard hotel and needs to be improved. Good service, housekeeping was very attentive and frontdesk allowed 2pm extended checkout without charge, which was great
Nightlife Tip:
Walk 100m to soi 4 to find bars, restaurants, discos and people from all over the world having a great time.

Great location, but small swimming pool

I choose to stay at Majestic mainly because of the location. There are many different food outlets around walking distance as well as good night life entertainment.
As for the hotel itself I appreciate the cleanliness and the confort of the rooms as well as the good maintenance.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and can always be approached for assistance.

I enjoyed my stay, In general the food was very good but on one occasion I had a very bad meal but this was not charged so I compliment the management for their service.
The cost of the hotel taxi I felt was rather high and this could be a point to be reviewed.
I have in fact reccomended this hotel to two people and one of whom I know has already booked accomodation there for this month.

Nice hotel, great breakfast buffet and pool.
Pool, buffet, and gym are nice. Rooms are large and clean.

On the first day after arrival there were some renovations ongoing in a nearby room that caused a very strong chemical smell in my room. The staff appeared to be unaware of the very strong odour and were hesitant to give me a different room. Eventually they offered me a similar room on a different level and all was well.

This is a nice hotel, well located, right in the center of things with quick access to everything. Great rooms, great staff, great service. Higher standards of service and never any bad surprises. A bit more expensive than some other similar hotels in the area but never any unpleasant surprises. Would recommend to anyone.
