Good location, close to the skytrain. Staff in Executive Lounge and bell boys very friendly. Defineitly worth the money to get a room on the executive level. Bar staff in lobby were unfriendly. Check in and out took an awfully long time. Our room was being made up at all sorts of weird ours even when we didn't have the sign up to get it made up. Over all this hotel was gorgeous. We had a room on the executive level which was well worth the extra bucks as even though the room was rather small the special privileges of free cocktails and tapas in the evening was fantastic as well as free internet access. Breakfast was delicious !! Bar staff in the lobby were not very friendly and i would say check in took at least 20 minutes an check out maybe 15 minutes - not good!

Great room, good breakfast, nice service Internet did not work properly, only two elevators and very long waiting time for the elevator every time. The hotel was nice, great rooms, good service and a good breakfast. Unfortunately the internet id not work properly and there are only two elevators. I hardly waited so long time for elevators every time you needed to change the floor.

Convenient location, clean and nice room Only 2 elevators for the size of hotel.
Always crowded and had to wait longer than average. The hotel location is convenient, near Sukhumvit road and easy access to highway. The room was nice, clean and cozy. Quiet and nice view from the window. Breakfast choice was great and a lot to offer, very nice. But the dining area was somewhat small and so many waiters and waitresses walking around so it was hard to walk with a plate in my hand. By the way, I always wonder why when you need waiting staffs attention for additonal coffee or something they don't notice you but as soon as your plate becomes empty they quickly take it away like a silent message as "when you finish, you go back to your room". Is that only me?

I was staying at exclusive floor. And using all service of the hotel.
The best in this hotel is the rooms for me. The room is not so big. It is really compact. But you can get very relax time. Coz Design of the room is good and well equiped. The negative point for me is
1. Internet connection is not free for normal room. You should pay 399THB for 24H. It must be free as other hotels.
2. Only 2 elevetor is not enough. Sometime you need to wait 5min to take an elevator.
3. Gym and Pool is too small. At least gym must be more equiped. I could do minimum training. Then I went to JW's gym to work out.
The location is good. But to BTS take 10min by foot. Hotel may provide shuttle to BTS station as other hotels. I will go back to this hotel if I can get same price as today. But if you like to get best time in this hotel, you need to up grade to exclusive floor for free internet, exclusive launge and etc.,
With this additional cost the price is still reasonable.
It is not for familly. But it is good for business traveler who always concern about travel expense.
Nightlife Tip : This hotel is just one bloc from NANA Plaza. If you want to drind just 5min way by foot.

Allowed us to store bags and get ready at their spa/gym Room I got was by the Freeway....could hear the noise... The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was VERY good. Gym is way above average. You can actually get a very good workout in. The spa had a huge jacuzzi/wet sauna/dry sauna which we were allowed to use even after checking out at 12pm. flight was not til 11pm. Staff gladly let us use the facilities to freshen up.

Customer Service, front desk, executive lounge, Nice block walk from main street. Breakfast could have a little more variety. I have visted Bangkok 5 times now and found the Majestic to be the best hotel I've stayed at in all of my visits. The location was good, the customer service is excellent. My wife really appreciated how the staff really was attentive to our every need. I strongly recommend upgrading to the Executive floor, the extra baht is well worth the benefits you get each night and day by having access to the executive lounge. I can't wait to next year I will return to Majestic!
Hotel Feature Tip : The Executive Lounge is worth getting even if you do get free ABF, this is all inclusive in the Executive Lounge.

- No discos, night clubs, and partying place inside hotel If one compare cost vs benefits, I would certainly recommend to choose this hotel. It is a very good hotel for single or family stay. Decent size and clean rooms, reasonably well furnished, not very old infrastructure, nice resturants serving delecious foods, good gym and swiming pool, located in the heart of happening places etc.

Clean. Great Food in Restaurants (didn't eat out at all!). Excellent Executive Facilities. Near major shopping outlets (15 min walk or take skyway) After 5 weeks in Africa we decided to stay in Bangkok for 3 nights on the way home to Australia and picked The Majestic Grande off the agoda WEB site. What a delight. We booked an executive room to give us access to executive facilities (Web, lounge etc). Was more than we expected. Well done!
Restaurant Tip : We ate at the "7". This was a fabulous restaurant beside the pool on the 7th floor. The best range of food in a buffet style I have seen, plus a cook for those extra Thai dishes.

Clean and friendly staff. To avoid miss information, I would suggest to improve coordination among front office, restaurant's staff and room attendant or house keeping. It was bit regret, on the last day I was asked that breakfast is not include; when checking-out, I was asking for one bath dress or kimono that I never take. I thought the room attendant was not write the report when she/he took it for washing. Add more selections of halal food, since there are many Moslem guest. Any way this is just small thing.
I really enjoy stay at this hotel with very warm and friendly staff. The room is clean, comfortable and provide with nice TV program and internet connection. Not just the guest room, beatiful swimming pool, nice jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and complete gym facilities. The environment surounding the hotel also nice, a lot of restaurant, massage shops and just and less than 10 minutes to sky train.
Nightlife Tip : You can find anything what you want surounding the hotel. Just take care.

Staff friendly and helpful I stayed at the Majestic Grande in Bangkok between 05/07/09 to 10/07/09 and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and had all mod cons, maid service was excellent and the restaurant food was terrific. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and conduct themselves professionally. I will be staying again at the Majestic when I return to Bangkok .....

the rooms , the service ,the location. the lunch buffet needs more variety.
the hotel is located two blocks away from the SKY TRAIN STATION which would link you to the best shopping mall and to the river to visit the RECLINING BUDDHA . The staff are so courteous and
alwyas wear a smile in their face. I was surprised on the cleanliness and design and amenities of the room, you got a 5 star rating hotel for the price of 4 star. Am planning to stay there again together with my family this coming August.

The Hotel is very well located for the Nana Entertainment area and admits guests without difficulty It is an up-market establishment and the Restaurant is Italian and is expensive The Hotel is a swanky place with all facilities in perfect condition . The staff are very efficient and friendly and speak English . There is a swimming pool , business center , and other amenities. I like the Bar in the foyer and shall stay there again This was my second visit. The rooms are very comfortable with all you would expect together with Wi-Fi internet access , cable TV and Pay Movies in the room.

Nice rooms, nice bathrooms. The atmosphere around the hotel is really good. The people all around were very friendly and courteous. The water in the swimming pool was very cold. The internet, although good, is not complimentary and quite expensive. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Bangkok, but my stay in Majestic Grande is one of my better experiences. The hotel is very nicely located, the staff are all very friendly, the room service is prompt, and the house keeping people are also very efficient. Quite frankly, I can't find any cons with this hotel. Except maybe, room service rates are a bit high and the internet should have been complimentary. I specially liked the dvd player in the room.
Shopping Tip : Walk over to the BTS station and take the BTS to MBK shopping mall. After that, take a motor cycle ride to the Night Bazaar. The motor cycle is faster in the traffic of Bangkok. These two places offer the best discounts, in my finding.
