The service is classic Thai hospitality at its finest. Everyone is cheerful and helpful with grace and dignity. I have stayed at the Majestic Grande 5-6 times now and it is always superb. The doormen ALWAYS greet you, help you, and open the door. The staff ALWAYS is friendly, efficient, and quick to provide anything you request. Honest, ice arrived in 5 minutes, and a toothbrush faster than that. The staff remembered my name and room number and after the first breakfast request, they provided me with the same extra sauces on subsequent mornings. Breakfast is sumptuous with fruit, meats, fish, and cheese - a wide selection and very fresh. I sit by the pool and read the paper because it is so relaxing. The location is quiet yet only a block from the BTS, Nana Plaza, and Sukhumvit Road. Great value - I'll be back!
Nightlife Tip : Nana is close but don't forget to explore Sukhumvit Road up to soi 35 at least and explore both sides of Sukhumvit for 2-3 blocks in each direction. You can easily take the Sky Train to Thaksin exit (20 minutes and faster than taxis) and get a water taxi to many hotels and restaurants on the Chao Praya river. Go at night when the lights make the riverside magical.

Wounderfull Food, from Breakfast till Dinner. Pool to small and some rooms have a bad smell. Hallo, we stay for 4 nights in Majestic Grand and was more or less ok. Special the dinner is a dream of delicous...The pool is a little pit to small but for this location ok. The service is more than ok and very friendly staff. We will come back in this Hotel when the price is cheaper.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room The Majestic Grande Hotel was a wonderful experince while traveling in Bangkok. My parents were in from overseas to see the city with my husband and I. The hotel is in a great location close to shopping, restaurants, and the MRT station. All of the famous temples to see in Bangkok are a short taxi or bus ride away. The hotel offered a great complimentary alcoholic drink. The breakfast buffett is outstanding as well as the dinner buffett with meat and fish that you can choose to have grilled for you. There were more than enough choices at every meal and everything tasted great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone for the value and the price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure to visit all the temples in town, but DON'T BELIEVE anyone on the street about the temples being closed. You can borrow clothing at the temples (for ladies with sleeveless shirts and shorts) All of the taxi and tuk-tuk drivers try to take you to the clothing factory as a scam!!! Everyone will lie to you about temples being closed, but DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THEM. Go and check it all out for yourself. The factory is a tourist trap and a waste of time.

great service, fantastic food, and very convenient. Room perhaps a little simular to western style. Perhaps also a little tired looking My first stay at this hotel, third stay in Bangkok this year and was expecting great things given most reviews I had read. I have always found the staff at most hotels extremely welcoming and it was the same here. Breakfast included was very nice in a fresh enviroment overlooking the swimming pool. I had one evening meal in their main restaurant and have to say the sea bass was the best I have ever tasted, a little pricey perhaps but well worth it. The room itself was very clean but lacked any Wow factor as it was likened to most other western style rooms, perhaps a little dated looking also.
Skytrain is a 10 minute walk and not bad for convenience.
Overall I had an enjoyable stay and the hotel was reasonably priced, however for a little more money one can stay at a very sumptous hotel, my choice for next visit.

Frinedly staff, great buffet breakfast, comfortable bed Asking if we wanted non smoking, then telling us they didn't have twin rooms available saying we did not have that down as a special request. Aside from the problem with check in the hotel was very nice, relatively quiet.
Shopping Tip : We found that platinum and MBK shopping centres the best for what we wanted

GREAT Breakfasts The noise of the bubbles at the pool on Level 7... they are so loud that it can make it hard to hear guests at your table excellent buffet breakfast and what is an amazing evening buffet at Dine@7.... I was stunned at the food choice, Lobsters, prawns, beef pork etc all BBQ'd as well as a selection of baked fish, turkey. Quite an amazing effort and when traveling, I am a bit picky with wanting variation. Majestic Grande food delivers that and their effort is complimented by excellent service.

Just about everything about the Majestic Grande was perfect for my stay. From the front desk service, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness of rooms and promptness of housekeeping. Room service was always quick.
The Grande Superior, while being the lower level of the rooms offered, was more than enough for myself on my 16 day holiday in Bangkok. The location itself put me right near anywhere I would need to go, as well as close to Taxis and the Sky Train if needed. Plenty of Restaraunts, Pharmacys, Bars, 7-11's, etc. nearby.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Bangkok for any length of time. Excellent hotel in a wonderful city...5 stars.
Nightlife Tip : Clubs and bars galore in this area...whatever you are looking for, you are likely to find.
A nice chill day hangout is Chequers Bar&Grill...right on Soi 4. Its a good place to have a few drinks and some good food and not be bothered.
Hillary Bar II on Soi 4 is a nice hangout at night, great place to play pool.
Spice Club on Soi 11 is a fantastic place to meet some girls. Trust me on this one.

Really loved this hotel, it was great value for money based on the rate secured on agoda. We paid around £46 pn which is what you would pay for a budget travellodge in UK. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lovely (although fairly small) pool area. Enjoyed the bar too for a cocktail before going out in the evening. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends & family Nothing significant. Our view from the room was not great but this was inevitable just based on location of hotel. Very high standard hotel, in the UK this coulod easily be classed as 5*. The staff were faultless, polite & friendly at all times. We only actually made it up for breakfast one time, but it was a good selection and included freshly cooked options like omelettes etc. Complimentary cocktail on arrival was a nice touch, and the bar itself was very nice to have a drink before venturing into the heat and noise! You don't have to walk far to be in the midst of Bangkok's hustle and bustle - for me this was a plus, some people may prefer the quieter locations next to the river (i.e. Peninsula, Shangri La). I will definitely stay here again and thought it represented great value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : taxis are cheap but a tuk tuk is a really fun way to get around the city.

nice location, hospitality room is not that large (compared to other hotels we stayed) I got very sick, so I could not go out. After we checked out, we decided to stay at the lobby. The staff brought me some warm drink, and I thought that it was nice. The location was nice. We stayed at different areas in BKK during our trip, and this location was the best.I would like to come back when I am not sick...

Staff was great, very friendly, love the breakfast buffet, dinners were spectacular, pool was beautiful. The Rooms were very nice, and clean. Modern Thai design. Steam room, sauna and jacuzzi in the change rooms was a really nice touch. Wish i was still there!! Highly recommend this to anyone staying in Bangkok. Close to the skystrain also.
Travel tip : take the skytrain to the chatuchuk market, its faster than a taxi & its cheaper.

I enjoyed the size of the room and the cheap upgrade. Pool is in the shade mostly. they think all visitors are prostitutes. I had a really enjoyable stay at the Majestic Grande Hotel. The only problem I had at the hotel was quickly corrected by a call to the manager. They thought my friends were prostitutes and i was going to have some sex party. I was with one girl and two other guys. They were not Thai just English teachers that i know from the country.
