Location; lovely room; competent and friendly staff; good price through Agoda; nice breakfast; lovely pool; good bar, but pricey; everything works or is fixed, with one exception (see below). Great place. This was our second stay, and we'll be back. The hot tub was cold (but maybe it's too expensive to keep it hot). And, it would be lovely if the restaurant offered good Thai food. And, the neighborhood sidewalks are pretty awful, but then that's not the hotel's fault.
The Majestic Grande is a perfect place for the two of us. It's modern, clean and pleasant without being over the top. The staff is helpful and efficient. The rooms have everything we need, and they are nicely decorated. The breakfast is good and plenty. The air con. is wonderful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to both the sky train and underground, which are the best ways to beat Bangkok's awful traffic.
Taking the bus from the airport is NOT a good idea. It took us an hour to go one mile. Taxi is better (and only a bit more) because it's maneuverable.

Overall the Grande Majestic Hotel is a decent four star hotel in the Sukomvit area of Bangkok. The staff are helpful and professional in their attitude. One of the high points of the hotel is a very nice buffet breakfast which includes everything
you can possibly think of. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

The hotel facilities are good, food was of a high standard as are the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. It's position is good for shopping and nightlife. Downside is the cost of food and drink compared with Bangkok in general. The worst is the cost of WiFi access in the hotel, this should be free, it is expensive. I have used the Majestic in 3 occasions now and always found it clean and at a high standard. The staff are great and go out of their way to be helpful. I do find the restaurant expensive compared with elsewhere but I prefer to eat Thai food when in Thailand, which is coppers by comparison. This said, I did use Sakz and had a nice Italian meal there. My only real complaint is the cost of internet access in the rooms, which is around 12USD per 24hr period, which I think is ridiculous.
Shopping Tip : Hotel driver will take you to the main shopping centers and either wait or come back to pick you up. If you are a stranger in town, this is an added bonus.

Very polite staff Not easy to sleep at the smoking rooms. Although I smoke, the odour was very "strong".
Not enough space at the pool Generally, the hotel is a nice one. I would prefer if the rooms had brighter colours. The staff was very polite. I would like to have more space at the pool in order to have a coffee there.
The room we had asked was a smoking one. Unfortunately, the odour of the smoke was very strong (at the whole floor). There are no windows that open and we finally asked for a non-smoking room.

great location, friendly, efficient service...good food...good spa fascilities....beautiful furnishings... It's the best value for money in any hotel that I've found.
Shopping Tip : close to the best stores in Bangkok and close enough to the sky train that they are mere minutes away.

Good clean room, albeit a little dated. The fitness room is very good, and spa/steam room excellent. The men's shower looks out over the city - a good view while showering after a work out. Room could be updated a little. A good clean hotel close to busy street life. The hotel has a couple of good restaurants, good fitness room, and pool. Staff are friendly and attentive. Internet access is a little expensive. Overall, and well priced good hotel.

The Majestic grande is ideally located for shopping,sightseeing and the skytrain.The staff are very professional and friendly.The piano player in the lounge is very pleasent nnd soothing to listen to afer a day out or before retiring to bed.i would not hesitate in recommending the Majestic Grande to my friends.,

The Majestic Grande is on Soi 2, Sukhumvit. It is close to night life and the Nana train station. I highly recommend getting an Executive Suite if you can get it for a good price. You get a nicer room, free internet and access to the Executive Lounge, where you get free food all day and free alcohol at night. A good way to start off your evening.

The hotel is fabulous. Rooms are clean and comfortable, not huge but comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best that I have experienced. The bellmen are very friendly and the front desk remembers your name. A little hike to get tot he skytrain. This is a great hotel to stay at. Very close to the Nana night scene ( if you are in to that ). The breakfast is top notch, gym and pool clean and everything that you need. For the money ( go with Agoda) its the real deal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For the best massage. Go to Abora Spa on Soi 24. Ask for Joy. She is a wonderful and skilled masseuse. This is a legitimate massage parlor, not a sex massage parlor!

very courteous and accomodating. try the tour with a car of your choice. volvo or camry. the hotel is located at the center of everything. a nearby bank is also a few walks away. good for forex needs. we had a great time at the hotel. the only problem is the language. some staffs really cannot speak English... we had a majestic time at the hotel. value for money. accomodation is good and the breakfast offers a lot of options. it would be good to come back to thailand and be at the same hotel. you will not regret it.the hotel is conveniently located at the center of thailand. food and bars are nearby. the train station is also a few minutes walk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : take the hotel ride and choose the type of car for your tour. it's not cheap but its worth the money and time. you will appreciate thailand more with a locale with you.

Handy enough for most things and sky train
Also at the end of the motorway so easy to get to from and from the airport
Clean nice rooms, great breakfast, Good Food in restaurant Distant from down town Bangkok - but not a real issue with cheap taxis and skytrain Booked as a treat as I travelled with my wife while on business. Ticked all the boxes, good rooms, good rates (although there was a promotion going on), good breakfast, restaurant - Sacz - has italian style and ate teh best gnocci I have had anywhere, also got a little impartial to the Chile cabernet sauvignon at the bar. So it did the job, I would probaby look it out and check the rates next time through bangkok. Downside is that I really do not like paying for internet access nowadays.
Restaurant Tip : We ate well at the Aquila restaurant on the river

Pool area, spa area and gym came in very useful.

A very welcoming environment in a very welcoming city. Great location close enough to everything that the Sukhumvit area has to offer, yet in a quiet spot surrounded by other quality hotels. Recommend the food at the hotel which was always very fresh and well priced. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were always out to go the extra distance to make our stay enjoyable, whether it be recommending things to do our organising transport. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Wonderful food and service in Sacz Italian restaurant Portions in the Sacz Italian restaurant were very small for the price although the quality of the food was excellent. Myself and my husband stayed here on our visit to Bangkok and we were delighted with the hotel. It was exactly as described and pictured on the Agoda website. We really loved the fact that it was very close to the skytrain and only a 5 minute journey to Siam on the train where all the shopping is. Breakfast was excellent in the 7th floor restaurant and there is Happy Hour in the Sacz Bar in the hotel lobby from 4-9pm every day which is great.
