Small room and the picture differs from shown on the website.
Location not so strategic as there isn't much choice of restaurant besides a tiny mall nearby. It is the back road and it seems dangerous to walk back at night.
Some staffs have poor understanding of English

We stayed 3 nights at Majestic Grand Hotel. Doormen + reception were very nice on arrival. Room was spacious, had very nice stylish decor and was spotless with comfy beds. We had breakfast included which is a decent buffet with a good variety of foods. We had dinner here as well which was nice also. We didnt have our minibar restocked (which we didnt care about) but when we got the bill at the end they charged us for the items we had only consumed once, 3 times. Once we explaned that to them they dropped the costs. Nice stay, would visit again!

Great location, good view, good service

Got the room at a pretty good rate. Clean and modern. Guest friendly! Would love to stay there again. Only downside was room had a door to join the next room to it, noise came through.

I have been a regular customer since 2005. The price is very fair, it is in the middle of everywhere and very quite area.
It has been remodled lately, the staff there is very freindly.

good location, very slow elevators

have stayed at Majestic Grande before and not much has changed, nice staff and rooms are decent, though a bit dated now, needs a refresh on room and carpets. My biggest gripe is that 25 story hotel only has two small elevators, and you needs to wait because of the poor design and lack of lifts. They do have a nice lobby piano player playing a large grand piano at around 5pm, looks a bit out of place, since you expect that at the JW or the Conrad. This hotel is a heartbeat away from many entertainment venues near Sukhumvit, Nana, and great cafes.
Nightlife Tip:
many great places nearby, which include Nana, Gullivers, Hillary 2, MBK Mall, Central World, and the new Century 21 Mall next to Asoke Skytrain station.

This is my third stay at Majestic Grande and I will recommend it especially to first time travelers to HCM. The location is great, less than 10 min walk to Nana Sky Train Station and under 15 min walk to Ploenchit, from which you can connect at Siam and head to the Airport for about 35 Bhat. Now back to the hotel location is ideal, in the middle of entertainment and night life of Shukumvit Avenue. Quite a few bars, food places and 7/11 for cheap beers within 5 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast is first class and very good, great selection of dishes, nice way to start the day! My room was clean and luxurious at $54 per night, super deal for the value. Will go there again!
