I most say that I'm impressed by Mandarin Hotel, great bed, friendly and professional staff, and very clean, breakfast buffet had all the heart can disire, I will for sure visit this hotel again.

All staff very well-dressed and looked polite but only skin-deep
If you happened to look like a Thai national (but of course I am not) and not able to speak Thai like their local, they suddenly turned mean, malicious and totally ignore you. I was so-called dressed smartly casual with t-shirt and short. When arrived at the morning coffee house asking for a seat for one person, one of the three waitresses started to speak Thai to me. When I responded in English, they all turned wild and malicious. The first waitress asked for my room registration card and passed over to the next waitress for some action. strictly no word spoken. Meanwhile, 3 guests turned up and all the three waitresses suddenly ignored me but turn-around to welcome these other guests. When they were accompanied to their seats, one of the waitress began to register my so-called seat booking and asked me for payment, just asked for the breakfast money but no other word for explanation. Knowing what was happening, so I paid. After collected the cash, one of them just passed me the receipt but with not even a word as if they were all deaf and turned away to welcome other guests. Well, I do look like a Thai but that should not prevent them to welcome me in the same way as they welcome all other guests at the reception. Should any one asks if I want to book this hotel again, I will have no better way to say other than to offer my 4 letter words !!!

A hotel which needs lots of improvements
This is the second time I stay at this hotel . This time, I stayed with my family and booked 3 rooms. At check -in , all smooth and quick. Improvements are needed at the reception guests or shuttle bus desk who were slow to help or not helping at all when I was carrying a stroller with a baby and needed help to climb the stairs . Services at breakfast too slow. 7 days stay , there was no coffee or tea offered when I sitting down. Table slowly cleared . Better cleared yourself. The menu never changed or variations . The waiter seemed very busy and forget to smile . There is no hospitality typical of Thailand here . Do not wait for the waiter to ask for something . Find it yourself to save time . The rooms that I got haf a broken bathroom door . Should quickly repaired considering it is a 4 stars hotel Shuttle bus service also needs lot of improvement . Guests should be reminded to be ready 10 minutes before departure . Stayed for the second time in this hotel is not impressive
