Location in a great area on Sukhumvit. Big beds. Good breakfast. Feels like it needs a fresh coat of paint, new carpeting. The toilets are small and inconvenient to get in and out of. The Manhattan has a great location and it is a nice big hotel, with big rooms and big beds. The big anomaly was the tiny bathroom, with a door that just barely clears the sink. I am not that heavy, and I had to squeeze in and out. Someone with a big belly would not be able to. ID's are checked for Thai nationals, so make sure your bar girl has one. Check-in and Check-out were quick and efficient. The place feels like it needs a little refurbishing, but might not be such a great value if it was. Breakfast ends at 10.
Shopping Tip : On Soi 15 just 20 meters from the hotel is a Convenience store, ideal for replacing mini-bar items as it sells beer before the official hours (11am-2pm).

Room was nice and cosy. Location good, very near to BTS station. Price is cheap considering the location and was breakfast included. Good variety of tv channels but most are in their native language. Staff and customer servicewere very friendly and able to communicate in english quite well. The massage service was excellent, even better than a massage parlour outside the hotel but at one time they refused to accept clients. Hotel located in very busy area, always have severe traffic jams especially at peak hours. Bad view from the room, was an empty car park. Breakfast the same menu for 3 consecutive days except for 1-2 dishes. It is an average hotel but in a good location, easy to get to most of the tourist attractions by train or by other means of transportation. Nice and cosy room. Reasonable price. Would consider staying there again. Highly recommend to those looking for inexpensive stay or short stay in Bangkok.

Free Breakfast, very friendly staff, central location. Manhattan hotel is a very accomodating hotel. Centrally located on Sukhimvit, the hotel is easy to get to and makes it very easy to go out. Cabs are always waiting outside as well. Their is a free breakfast, nice pool and several restaurants on the grounds.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Directly between Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. Right outside BTS.
