Convenient as very near Nana Station and hotel is situated off main road makes this quiet and cozy.

Buffet breakfast is lacking.

Have stayed in this hotel for many years, service is good, locality is good but the breakfast standard in food offered has gone down--sadly.

Location... Location staff are friendly and helpful

no variety in their breakfast buffet

Hotel near shopping malls and if you get bored and want to go other malls or destination subway and the sky train is just nearby!

Travel tip : If your taking the taxi in front of the hotel be sure that the meter is on or ask the hotel staff wat is the usual fare to your destination so that you can haggle.

Friendly staff

Expensive massage, but good; Breakfast not very good

It's a nice hotel, neat building. A bit sad that there is a big construction work on the back of the hotel. Breakfast is average. Make sure you book the hotel here and not at the reception. That's much more expensive. The massages in the hotel are good, but a bit expensive.

Convenient location, good value for money when booked on line

Public areas are a bit tatty and breakfast, while adequate, is rather monotonous. Internet access and WiFi is expensive.

The Manhattan hotel is my hotel of choice when I am staying in Bangkok at my own expense. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size, with safe deposit, TV, minibar, bath and toiletries provided. The BTS (Skytrain) is only a 5 minute walk away and the subway not that much further, interconnecting with the BTS.

Restaurant Tip : The restaurant on the corner of Soi 15 serves excellent, no frills, food at reasonable prices. It is well established restaurant and an institution that will be sorely missed if the owner retires, his children having gone to University and are reportedly reluctant to take over the business.

Good thing of the hotel is a location.it is very easy to get you round by sky train. It is a save area walking in the night too.

Furniture look very old, room cleanliness is under standard. The construction near a hotel is very noisy and it seem never finished.\n

I love to stay on Sukhumvit Road because it is very convenience to get around.Manhattan Hotel is in a good location, just 2-3 minutes walk from the main road.It is value for money too.Breakfast is not bad but should change some in the menu everyday.Staffs are very helpful and very friendly. One thing is annoying you is the sound from a construction buiding every morning.I still recommend this hotel as 3 stars in a good location and value for money.

Restaurant Tip : I found one restaurant call COCA sukiyaki. It is very good taste but it is an expensive too.You can find good food in Robinson department Store at food court which is only 10 minutes by walking.

Good location. Helpful staff.

Bathrooms are in need of repairs.

When we didn't like the rooms that were assigned to us, the lady at the front desk offered us several options until we were satisfied.

Restaurant Tip : A good Italian restaurant nearby.

nice breakfast.

cockroaches in room and bathroom, expensive internet usage way overpriced.

had to move to another hotel after the 4th night as cockroaches were showing up more and more and no food was being left out to attract them also 150 baht for one hour to use internet compared to going to cafe and paying much less.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Safari World....nice attraction.

Good location.

Old.

A decent enough hotel when you consider the price. Good central location, easy access to sky train and to Sukhumvit itself. The food is ok, but if staying a while the breakfast may become boring.

I like the hotel location and that it's close to to the sky train and a shopping market. It also has its own bar and it's close to another bar right around the corner. I really liked the included breakfast in the morning.

I didn't like the fact that it was a little run down and there was construction right across the street which was noisy at night (I stayed there in October '08 and it seemed like construction had just started).

It was my first time staying at this Hotel and would have to say that it is okay. The lobby is pretty nice but when you go up to the floors (can't remember what floor I stayed on) everything looks kind of old and spooky but the rooms were adequate. I didn't have any trouble going to sleep after a long night. I would recommend this hotel. Surprisingly this Hotel was fully booked when we first arrived in BKK around Oct 15 despite what I listed above.

Nightlife Tip : It's about a block away from the sky train and you really don't have to go far go get into the "action"

Clean room, full-sized bathtub, pleasant and professional staff, convenient location, good breakfast.

Construction across the street was noisy at times. Internet is expensive.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price we paid. The rooms are not modern but are clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered an excellent selection of western/thai/korean food. Location is very convenient, short walk to Sukhumvit and the BTS. Will stay here again.

Great buffet breakfast.

Expensive internet, not good for socializing.

I loved the breakfast. It had Western, Thai, Korean and I think, Japanese types of food. The lobby was very nice, but had a business hotel feel. There was no socializing going on there. The internet was expensive. I had a lot of work to do and had to buy several internet vouchers. The pool didn't seem very appealing. Rooms, especially carpets, were old, but I saw rooms being updated in Nov 2008.

Location: the hotel is very close to the BTS Asoke station

The 9 floor of the hotel is in a very poor shape

when i first arrived i was referred to the 9 floor. this floor is in a very poor shape and the room are very old and in a bad shape. after talking to the reception i was placed in the 3 floor which is in a much better condition and i was very pleased with the room and the big bed over there.
