Great hotel
Great value for money,friendly and professional staff and a great and ample varied breakfast.

We chose the hotel on the basis of central location and value for money and it certainly ticked the boxes and many more.Not only was the breakfast excellant we liked the look of the evening menu that we also had 2 evening meals during our 5 night stay as we thought it was great value.In the mornings we spent time around the pool which was well maintained and pool towels were provided which was another bonus.
All in all we found the Manhattan to be excellent value and will certainly stay here on our next visit to Bangkok

The Manhattan is a mid-class hotel offering reasonably priced accommodation and has all the benefits of being centrally located within walking distance of Asok bts, shopping, entertainment centres. Rooms are clean and well maintained with all the usual requirements catered for. The included breakfast is basic but for the price is adequate. All in all very good value for money. Discounted prices are normally available by booking online with Agoda.

Manhattan Hotel stay from 12-14 Jan '10

We stayed in Manhattan hotel from 12-14 Jan 2010. It took us some time to get to the hotel in taxi because the traffic in that area was very heavy. The service staff was nice to allow us to check in early at 12pm (usual time is 2pm). Location wise, the hotel is excellent because it is a short walk to the BTS station. 7-eleven, shops, massage and spa, street food are near the hotel. It is easy to hail a taxi near the hotel. The hotel and room is a bit old looking. The free breakfast provided is okay but not with many selections. The free mineral water in the room by the hotel has a weird taste and we didn't dare to drink it. Overall, I will say the hotel is still value for money. It will be better if the hotel can provide free WIFI.

Manhattan Hotel Bangkok with my Fiance

The Manhattan hotel in Bangkok was close to all transport facilities, It was well recognised by all taxi's and tuk tuk drivers. Once we arrived at the main bus terminal in Bangkok it was only a 10 minute drive to the Hotel. It was located off the main rd and had a great drive through entrance. It was tucked away just off the main road and there was minimal noise and sleeping was pleasant. The rooms were comfortable in design and had great ammenities. Airconditioning worked great and had pleanty of movie chanels to watch after a long day out. The hotel was always clean and had internet access at a cost.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring pleanty of underwear as there is no self laundry and the cost of having room service to do your laundry was expensive.

Not as nice as I thought it would be!
The fact that this hotel is not on the main road, it is quiet for sleeping at night. It is very close to the main street with a very close distant walk to BTS. The room service people were very nice and prompt.

I only stayed for one night so it doesn't bother me much. I would not stay here again if I have to stay longer than a night.

Overall my expericence at the Manhattan hotel wasnt a very good one. The hotel is very outdated and needs a spruce up asap. Swimming pool is not well maintained. Staff were very rude & not very professional. I wouldnt say this was a three star hotel more like a two star. the location is good as its close to the sky train. Wouldnt reccomend this hotel. Much better in Thailand. was one of the worst i have stayed in.
Restaurant Tip:
A restaurant at the bottom of the road is a good one. Good value for money just wish the hotel was the same.

according to my hubby, the hotel offers a very lousy service and even no iron could be provided. The most horrible thing is during the tooth brushing the tap water turned very dirty, seriously it was black! will nv go there again even though the location is accessible.

Great friendly hotel
Well priced and very central. Close to 2 sky train stations and 1 underground station.

I have stayed there twice in the last month. I have always been given what I have asked for. Very quiet now that the hotels on either side have completed construction. The staff were always courteous and friendly. Great breakfast served in a nice setting.
Shopping Tip:
Lots of streetside shops on the main road.

very average hotel with standard bathroom. well actually the bathroom is below average. But the size of the room is ok. They don't have any view if that is what you are looking for. I think if you are on a budget and only staying there for one day then its ok.
